  1. Short teaser for the upcoming 3rd trailer (to be released tomorrow night) now on the StarWars instagram page, showing Poe's x wing...And yes, it is indeed black and orange....
  2. I sure hope im in the minority with fears that moments before the scene from the teaser we all use for reference, the wings were pointing at a 45 degree down angle, just before the shuttle prepares to land....
  3. Now thats a truly elegant solution!
  4. Actually, looking closely at the positions of hinges on the top of the fuselage, the hinged lower vertical stabilizer and the cowling behind the cockpit, I expect some vertical transformation action with deployable wings, the vertical fin rotating downward, and cockpit rotation much like the B wing.
  5. Pics still up at http://www.starwars7news.com/2015/10/2016-lego-star-wars-sets-leaked-new-ship-from-the-force-awakens.html Be quick with that download button. "We must react swiftly...the Censor Jedi are relentless"...
  6. Sure, for reference, the three 2x3 plates alongside each other represent the black slopes of the engine cowling. These stay in place. The landing gear came of that truly horrible Plo Koon starfighter...so basically the landing gear sits below the curved engine cowl, and ends where the rubber band hook would sit, right alongside the engine outlet.
  7. Khatmorg, many thanks for your awesome efforts! You've inspired me to mock up a somewhat similar idea, with rachets assisted by some regular hinges for some extra friction, fully split yet completely sturdy wings, and nearly invisible retractable landing gear in its correct position. (I'm so OCD with landing gear, and this was the biggest single omission on the Poe X Wing IMO) With the added bonus that the wings and engine intakes close absolutely seamlessly. Just waiting for the grey ratchet plates to arrive for the build.(and then I'll make my own thread of course lol) Top: Bottom: Rear: Landing gear down:
  8. Looking at Docking Bay 327 scenes with white stormies for reference, i think one can conclude that the MF never was white, as the weathering over the even, uniform, grey base color is quite apparent in the scenes:
