  1. Can't wait for Mark I, V as well as Ant-Man and Cap's new helmets! Also hoping that they'll make a Thanos in regular minifig size, as I often think the bigfigs are simply too large or lack detail. They did the Hulk in regular size twice, or thrice even, if you count the Mighty Micro one. I know they also did a Mighty Micro Thanos, but would love to see a movie related regular sized minifig of him.
  2. Will we get more Fantastic Beasts sets and figures based on the Crimes of Grindelwald this year? I'm one of those who actually really enjoy the new movies, and to my surprise, in particular the latest one. So looking forward to what's to come from TLG HP this year. My wallet is not... :-P
  3. So, Mattel has unveiled their giant Brachiosaur figure. Anyone think TLG will follow suit? I reeeeally want that lego Brachiosaur!!! :-)
  4. If they truly are doing a Steamboat Willie proper, they should have Black Pete in it, with tail and all.
  5. From the photos I've seen it looks grey when lit properly, but not as light grey as the lego torso looks. The print is great looking, but would've been awesome if TLG also did a darker shade of grey. The grey of the Luke Jedi (at Jabba's) was also too light grey imho. The figure might end up being awesome though. I just hope the head/mask is black :-)
  6. Have they ever done Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru's homestead yet? If not, could be a good set. With blue milk, bath for C-3PO, a small Skyhopper and womp rats (which should be larger than the rats included with Luke's speeder not too long ago). Would be great to get Beru at last. Really hope that Tantive IV rumours are true though. Already got the rebel trooper and the new stormtrooper. But can't wait to get Antilles and Leia with skirt. Could we also get Daine Jir?
  7. If the D2C set is another JW based set I'll be really disappointed. I'm very happy that we have sets from this world absolutely. But I think JW has been overdone compared to JP, which still has so much ground to cover in terms of both vehicles, sets and minifigs. Doesn't LEGO realise how much people want stuff from the original movie? Or am I completely misinformed? Did the one Jurassic Park set sell that badly? Been wanting the original JP Jeep for years, as well as minifigs for Hammond, Muldoon, Nedry and Arnold. Happy that we got Grant, Sattler, the kids and Malcolm :-).
  8. I understand why they didn't go with the kids minifigs for this set. These four were the ones I wanted. But surprised that they didn't make a Dino. They could've put a decent Dino together from already existing molds, just giving him a new paint job. And not just for adult collectors. Adding a colourful dinosaur to the set would've increased the appeal for kids as well as kids LOVE dinosaurs, at least the ones I know. Also find it strange that they didn't go with shorter legs for Barney.
  9. Love the new Biker Scout figure, although dual molded legs and white arm printing would've been nice. Been waiting for an update for this one for years, so I'm glad to get it. Wicket though...still doesn't look like Wicket, imho. Made a comparison, shouldn't be hard for lego to change the print into this:
  10. You probably know more than I do. Didn't realise it was a false rumour. Ah well. Really liking the new pics of the Luke and Leia Death Star escape set. Hope they make more of these "movie set"/scenes sets at this scale and size.
  11. I feel like I've read somewhere that at least one of the 2019 sets would be an Endor set with a biker scout and ewoks. Has anyone else heard this?
  12. Another dream is a Nightmare before Christmas set of minifigs. Either as a set or as a a minfig series. Jack Skellington is big business merchandise wise. But not sure if all the other characters would sell as well. Perhaps if it was released just before Halloween?
  13. I second that. They HAVE to include Dino. Hopefully a molded Dino along the lines of Scooby-Doo, only in Dinosaur shape (naturally). Kids love dinosaurs. Can't wait for this set to arrive! :-)
  14. I wouldn't mind a new helmet, as I was quite disappointed when I first saw the photos from the Ant-Man and the Wasp set. Having said that, after actually getting the set, this Wasp has surprisingly grown on me. And I now quite enjoy it. Sure, a more accurate helmet is welcome. But if I had to choose between a better helmet and leg/arm printing, I'd opt for additional leg/arm prints. Hopefully we can get both down the line. :-)
  15. Oh....if they did classic TRON characters!!!
  16. One never knows for sure, but Goofy must be a given. Apart from that I'm clueless, except I feel LEGO will follow up on Stitch and give us a Lilo, as well as a Sleeping Beauty to go with Maleficent. I'm guessing Elsa and Anna would be contenders due to Frozen's popularity. But won't minifigures of the princesses cannibalise on the sale of their Disney Minidoll Princesses sets? Are they willing to do both?
  17. TLC has gotten to the point where they've made (to me anyway) a surprisingly large number of different Star Wars figures. I've been wanting them to do all the ones I had from Kenner in LEGO form, and they're getting close to completing that list. However, there are a few that I want them to update/and or make that still haven't seen the light of day. My top 10 are (in no specific order): - New Admiral Ackbar - Nien Nunb (molded head) - Hammerhead (ok, I know there exists an Ithorian figure, but it's not quite the Hammerhead from the cantina) - New Biker scout, with flesh heads and black visor part of the helmet, not the head. And preferably arm printing. - Wicket. Still think the latest version of Wicket is a bit inaccurate. - Ponda Baba (molded head). Just love that orange jacket and the weird head. - Squidhead. One of Jabba's goons, which still doesn't exist in Lego. - Zuckuss. The missing bounty hunter. - Aunt Beru. We've had Owen twice. Time for auntie to shine. - New Mon Mothma. I was very disappointed that the new Bespin set didn't have a new hair mold for Leia in Bespin outfit. The figure was fine, but the hair needs an update. Plus, technically not a mini figure as such. But wouldn't mind a new mold for Han in Carbonite with updated hair. Fortunately, every time I write a wanted list for new Star Wars Lego minifigs, I don't have to wait that long. Eventually they get to most of them :-)
  18. Yeah, hopefully their license isn't long-lasting. As hopefully that makes LEGO versions possible of the Futurama characters. As far as I know Mega Construx has just made 2 figures. Back to the Simpsons - I didn't even realise that they didn't make Moe or Barney, and I've been collecting them all. But now that I realise that... I think Homer's green car would be cool to see in LEGO :-)
  19. Thanks for the review. I was initially not going to get this set, but had to have Ian Malcolm. I don't think Lego's choice of hair fits him entirely, so given mine the Black Minifig, Hair Swept Back with Forelock-hair (Where's my pants-guy hair). Was also pleasantly surprised about Owen's arm printing.
  20. I would give my right arm for LEGO Futurama minifigs. Or perhaps rather my left arm. With sculpted heads like the Simpsons. Yes please. S.up and take my money!!
  21. Oh, if you're right that'd be awesome!! In my perfect world, it'd also include a JP Jeep and a Triceratops. One can always dream... I absolutely acknowledge that JW is what is carrying this line forward. I just don't see that many new minifigs they can make from the existing JW movies. That said, they might base one or several of the new sets off of "The Secret Exhibit" due out next year. Not that they can't also do more from Fallen Kingdom or JW1. In animated form, they could also do more adventures with the original JP cast, as well as with the new crew. Even though JW3 won't be out for a while, and the JP series is getting older, the dino theme must be evergreen. I don't know how well Lego's own DINO series did, but looking at my own kids being dino-crazy just like I was at that age (and still am, apparently ), dinosaurs and dino-toys will always be in great demand. Hopefully, LEGO will continue basing their dino toys on JP/JW. I'm guessing the logo and the recognisable movie brand helps sell these sets.
  22. As has been said, they've pretty much covered the Jurassic World movies minifig-wise, even down to a plethora of unnamed guards. Whereas the classic JP that everyone knows still has several major characters that have yet to get the minifig treatment. Personally I'm hoping for at least Hammond, and hopefully Nedry, Muldoon, Arnold (Sam Jackson's character) and Gennaro (the lawyer). Dino-wise, it's astounding that they haven't yet done the Triceratops in this line, so that's at the top of my list. Second is the Brachiosaur, to recreate THAT moment of awe from JP1. The model looks great in the LEGO JW game, but I'm guessing it would be fairly expensive due to its size. I'd still buy it though. And thirdly, the Stegosaur (I do love the classics) from the Lost World. Gallimimus/Spinosaur would be on shared 4th spot and Parasaurolophus on 5th. A Mosasaur could also be great, and I don't mind them downsizing it, as its size in JW in totally overproportioned anyway. :-)
  23. Thanks for that tip KingPixels. Man, I've wasted so much money on eBay. Bricklink is so much cheaper…! Wish I'd discovered it sooner. At least now I have. So cheers! :-) Clone O'Patra, is that Batman version really that flaky? Perhaps I'll go for the longer barrel one then...
  24. Thanks again Oky. Interesting that they've produced two so similar, but with different barrels. Now I'm off to ebay looking for the Batman gun! :-)
  25. LOVE that Flash! Wish they'd make a Captain America mini fig with a similar helmet WITH wings or print of wings on it. The Avengers one was kind of lacking in this respect. Would anyone else like to see this happen?
