  1. I'd prefer a Mr Bean level pack based on the infamous Armchair-Mini sketch.
  2. 'Telling' isn't the same as the fun of composing a Christmas list with Amazon links.
  3. You can't put the regular minifigure on the Toy Pad, though (he won't appear in the game, obviously). I think it would be quite fun to be able to play as both LEGO Batman and lEGO Movie Batman.
  4. Actually, I'm hoping my parents will buy it for me as a Christmas list. That doesn't solve the problem that I'm an adult who still enjoys creating Christmas lists and so long as LEGO don't release details, the set isn't up for pre-order so you can't include Amazon links.
  5. I'm not trolling. If you would recall, I said on the same thread that 'I'm a Whovian first and foremost'. Therefore it is only logical I would personally spend more on Doctor Who. I do love Ghostbusters but it can't beat Doctor Who in my eyes and I'd pay anything for Doctor Who.
  6. I would disagree with that notion. I think the Family Sedan is as iconic as the Ecto-1.
  7. Disagree. A last minute reveal to me would be a month before it's about to be released.
  8. I disagree. I am sure LEGO could make a Family Sedan set if they wanted to; I doubt the license is so specific that they could only include it as part of The Simpsons House. Therefore it is comparable.
  9. That's not about the LEGO Ideas Doctor Who set.
  10. If The Simpsons House didn't have a Family Sedan the size of the Ideas Ecto-1 (which it didn't), then the Ghostbusters Firehouse certainly won't given that an Ecto-1 set already exists unlike the Family Sedan from Simpsons.
  11. Back to the Future didn't. It was in the Argos catalogue four months before release, I believe.
  12. Yeah, the LEGO Movie packs look great. I hope they do a LEGO Movie Batman level pack at some point.
  13. I don't know how they could top the Ideas Ecto-1. Brent Waller's design was perfect. Besides, if they do include it it would probably only be a tiny version anyway like the Family Sedan in The Simpsons House.
  14. It's that and the Ghostbusters, Simpsons, Back to the Future and Midway Arcade sets for me.
  15. Slimer is in LEGO Dimensions too so he'd be an easy inclusion.
  16. To me, waiting for the set details is worse. I'd rather see what it looks like in advance than wait ages and the details be announced a month before release. LEGO should know better than to leave it last minute. Don't make me laugh. Most sets are in the Argos catalogue four months before release.
  17. No. The original idea behind the scenes was for it to be a hearse but in the end they decided to make it a ambulance.
  18. They wouldn't need to hype it up. Just release some actual details plenty of time in advance instead of idiotically leaving it to the last minute. I'm not sure what that solves for many who like to compose Christmas lists with links to Amazon and cannot because the set hasn't been put up for pre-order.
  19. Doc Brown, Slimer and Stay Puft Marshmallow Man are going to be amazing. I've already decided I'm going to have the 4th Doctor meet Stay Puft whilst driving the time travelling train around Jurassic World!
  20. The LEGO Store is definitely the best place to get LEGO sets. I went to the one in Newcastle on holiday this year and it was amazing. Everything...*SHOCK*...at a reasonable price and cheaper than on the internet (even when all the sets were basically at RRP).
  21. You have to remember that the fact is the LEGO themes are not what the majority who play the game want to see, though. I think it's fair to say most of us want to see Doctor Who characters meet characters from DC Comics or Homer Simpson hanging out with Owen from Jurassic World.
  22. If it's not the LEGO Ideas Doctor Who set, then I might just send an email to them containing the words 'pudding brains'.
  23. I think people would have to be pretty thick to think that because a design for a upcoming LEGO set is revealed, it means it can be released now. And I haven't seen any evidence that people do think that. The Back to the Future set was shown ages before it came out and nobody thought 'Oh, surely they could release it now?'. With any form of Doctor Who merchandise (or any merchandise even), I expect to see what it looks like and the thing itself to be up for pre-order at least four months before its due to come out. If they leave it a month before release like Wall.E, then it's simply nothing but bad form IMO. They should know better and show the fans (who are going to be buying the set) more respect instead of keeping them in the lurch. Plus, many people (even adults such as you and me) like to compose Christmas lists and that is impossible if certain things to be released in time for Christmas are not put up for pre-order on places such as Amazon. That's independent of the Ideas set, though. It doesn't quench my thirst to see what the LEGO Ideas set looks like.
  24. Agreed. It just needs the TARDIS floating around.
  25. Sherlock is possible, given other things included in Dimensions are Ideas sets that have been rejected. I could imagine a Sherlock level pack with Sherlock, the infamous 221B Baker Street door and the Land Rover from The Hounds of Baskerville.
