Noticed it earlier but I left my computer to do some other things and forgot to save it. It's now corrected. Now, to legitimately call this an index, I added several footnotes to link back to the sources within the main topic. I welcome comments here and link to specific replies in the topic so that I can add them in the footnotes as supporting reference. Pictorial evidences preferred. To all those who commented earlier and appreciates the index, watch this space as the list will be updated continuously. Thanks!

For the sanity of everyone reading this topic back and forth, I created an index of all parts that we have talked about here: Don't use that topic for discussion. Just use it as a handy reference.

This is a list of BAM Exclusive parts that I have collected and catalogued so that the conversation in the BAM topic will be less confusing. The index of parts are sorted in order of item type (headgear, headpiece, torso, etc) and then date "first seen". NOTE: All the pictures used here are all my own, unless otherwise stated. All copyrighted and exclusively for Eurobricks use only. If you wish to use the images outside Eurobricks, you need to link back to this topic and include attribution. With that said, you may use the images throughout Eurobricks without any boundaries (e.g. copy and paste image link in topics/replies, etc) Also, this topic is not meant to discuss new parts. I will update the list as needed and as new parts are discovered, or when I acquire them. For discussion of these parts, post your response here: Image BL Code Item Name First Seen & Notes 93218pb01 Bright Light Orange Minifigure, Utensil Snowboard Small with Blue and Pink Snowflakes Pattern 2018 Q1 fn#001 87995 Blue Minifigure, Hair Bubble Style (Afro) 2018 Q3 fn#002 13788pb02 Minifigure, Headgear Hat, Wide Floppy Brim with Knotted Tan Band Pattern 2018 Q3 fn#002 3626cpb2325 Minifigure, Head Mime Smiling Face, Black Star Eyes with White Pupils Pattern - Well, the opening statement of that article is wrong. "Every three months new LEGO® elements are added to the Build a Minifigure towers in LEGO Stores worldwide." You can't make that sweeping statement anymore. I got the Pink Elephant batch on 2nd January 2020, then the Brown Bunny batch on 3rd February 2020.

Thanks. I also find the roof interesting -- just not in a positive way I also agree with you. Sometimes a small set is a low-hanging fruit that collectors can easily grab without spending needlessly.
-
Masterfully reviewed. Right on the money my friend. I have been reviewing your reviews as we bounce each other ideas and workflow, etc. This review just shows how much effort you put into your craft. I don't even know if most people appreciate how much effort goes into this. I know it is much easier to watch videos but I always have a place for reading reviews in a leisurely pace specially when pictures are so crisps and well-lit. This review makes me open my set right now and build it. Cheers!

You're welcome! LOL. I know the size of the egg is very big but that's another mystery why that mould is gigantic than what it is supposed to be. I don't think the designers were even thinking of dinosaur egg early in the design phase because it was first used in Angry Birds. Then right after that came 1 seasonal easter set and then an Easter Batman minifigure with pink egg and a basket. So yeah, I am clueless why we deserve an easter set without an egg. Anyway, agree on more hen. Cheers!

It is indeed quite confusing without any reference material.... and Bricklink is way behind these updates that it has become useless to some degree when comparing what's old vs. what's new. It can be helpful only when you are trying to check the existence of already familiar minifigure part(s). For example, when I first saw the new torso for the flower pot girl, I thought it is the same colour. Then I found out that the original CMF Flower Pot Girl has bright green torso whereas the new one is just green.

Hmmm.... now that you mentioned it, that's a good point. In a way I get more excited on these BAM figures than the current licensed ones. Well, if TLG go full throttle on this, I look forward to seeing big animal pieces in BAM!
-
You're right. However, the same bear will be available as part of the City minifigure pack that will be released later -- but it's always good to have more of these teddy bears. :) I only took a photo of the "suggested parts combination" as those parts in the picture all came in a single batch of stock delivery. Those black scotty dogs are elusive in my shop, even though I never run out of the dark grey cats....

Isn't this too early for Easter? I am not egg-sactly sure why. Perhaps, this hard working Easter Bunny Girl wants to paint as many eggs possible before Easter. So, let's make this quick. Hop onto my 30th RA review, set #853990 - Easter Bunny House. Overview Name: 853990 - Easter Bunny House Theme: Seasonal Year: 2019 (1H) Pieces: 57 Minifigures: 1 Price: GBP 6.99 / USD 7.99 / EUR 7.99 / MYR 39.90 Introduction It seems that TLG is switching things up a little bit with the new seasonal sets this year. This set is not a free gift with purchase. Instead, it is just a normal set that you can buy from LEGO store. Front view (with sleeve) The packaging for this small set is slightly different from the previous seasonal set, particularly 5005249 Easter Bunny Hut. From the outside, it is seemingly a clamshell box but it is just an octagonal prism packaging which can be opened at the bottom. In addition, it has a yellow paper twine with an egg-shaped tag. This is very handy if you are going to buy this set as a present. Back view (with sleeve) The sleeve is simply held by 2 clear tapes at the back. 3/4 Profile (sleeve removed) Once you remove the sleeve, there is no "door" or tear-off flaps that you can open. It functions like a normal box only. Nothing more, nothing less. You simple open the box flap at the bottom to free the contents inside. In the absence of any other packaging material inside, we get low-density polyethylene plastic bag and super glossy instruction booklet. Build Without being melodramatic, these are the contents of the plastic bag: Front view And in less than 10 minutes you are able to build this 3 little builds: a patch of foliage, a chicken coop and a scooter with 6 "eggs" on an egg tray. Immediately, what caught my attention in this build is the sunny side up printed 1x1 white round tile that serves as the headlight of the scooter. Is it an egg or a light? I think it depends on what you want to imagine. It is not the most creative usage of part but it looks wacky so I like it very much. It's also worth to mention that this is one of the easiest and cheapest way to get medium azure scooter at the moment. As for the most annoying part -- it's the roof. I don't like its construction because the hinges are not resting on any other element. The two red 2x4 tiles end up looking awkward when they don't touch perfectly at the tip. Despite the minimal parts, the chicken coop has a hallow space in the middle which the chicken can use to lay eggs. 3/4 side profile view At this angle you can appreciate the clever use of tan slope 45 1x1 Double as ladder steps for the chicken. What I don't really appreciate is the usage of part # 58176 as white eggs. There are 6 of them at the back of the scooter and I suppose this one of the most reckless way to transport a fragile produce. In the past, other sets use that part as egg, but that was back when the egg mould with hole has not been made yet. Now that there is an actual egg mould, frankly, I don't buy this part as a good substitute for eggs anymore. However, the problem with the egg element (part # 53677) is that it is wider than a single stud so it is impossible to fit 6 eggs in 2x3 stud array. Even if you put 6 of those on a wider plate, you can't present the tray of eggs without being cartoonishly disproportionate to the scooter. I understand the design constrains but it is just absurd that the previous Easter Bunny Hut got a properly printed easter egg while this one has nothing at all. Notice the door at the back? This is a neat little feature because you can open this door to get the eggs laid by the chicken. The space in the middle can hold only 4 'eggs' given the limited space. Minifigures Easter Bunny Girl This Easter Bunny Girl can be paired with the Easter Bunny guy from 5005249 Easter Bunny Hut as they are stylistically similar. The pink ribbon printed on the light aqua torso gives it a mix of "minty" and preppy style. In addition to the prominent bunny teeth, the cutesy minifigure face also has white whiskers that adds more charm to the minifigure. As a side note, the Easter Bunny guy from the Easter Bunny Hut hardly got popular in my opinion. Personally, it was not in my "must have" minifigure list because the original CMF Bunny Suit guy is so much more charismatic, which makes these variants appear redundant. It could be good or bad depending on how many Bunny Suit Guys you already have. So, now that a new Easter Bunny Girl can be paired with the Easter Bunny Guy, I wonder if this will make the older set popular. Something egg-citing is on the way! Conclusion I'm not going to drag this review longer so let me put in summary: Pros: Very collectible Easter Bunny Girl minifigure Interesting parts included medium azure scooter Cons: Unlike the previous seasonal sets, the packaging does not really add value since it is just a hollow box An easter bunny without an actual egg mould (sunny side up doesn't count!) Review summary Playability: 7/10 - For this price point, the playability is reasonable Design / Building Experience: 6 - Can't really say I am satisfied building the chicken coop because on how the roof was designed Minifigures: 8/10 - This makes a great partner with the previous Easter Bunny Guy minifigure from 2018. Price / Value for money: 7/10 - Think of this as an XTRA set + CMF and the pricing makes sense. Overall: 7/10 - It is a cute small set for collectors but I wish it is a dollar cheaper or came with more parts.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 20. Rumors and discussion
makoy replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thank you for sharing this very good news! -
I agree with you! It's the best parts pack I can think of next to the retired Mixels. As for those folks saying it won't sell -- clearly, they are not the target market. I know a lot fathers out there who will buy this for their daughters, immediately, when DOTS is released. I can also see buying these just for the parts but the entry point for these products is cheaper than I initially thought, it may actually sell well enough to warrant multiple series or waves.

As mentioned in the leak, it is not from NINJAGO. I just bought my first magazine a week ago and I can't really understand how these magazines are cataloged in Bricklink... I understand the difference in packaging varies by region.

I am interested on the container / part sorter for some odd reason. Also, rainbow poop!

I agree on what most reviewers are saying about this set. And let's not forget the old saying, one man's trash is another man's treasure. For someone who has not cared about the majority of the Infinity War LEGO sets, this is a great way to catch-up with the Infinity Stones and get the Power Gauntlet which is the hallmark of this set, on top of the excellent minifigure Pepper Potts (Rescue). The helicopter looks unusual and I would prefer if other named antagonist is added in the set instead of the generic Chitauris, even if they have a new print. Then again, I rather buy this than spend on City sets like 60209 Diamond Heist or 60227 Lunar Space Station... because I don't understand why those sets are priced that way in the first place. Price/Value is always a subjective matter and while I understand how someone could rate this "perfect" (someone who loves Marvel), I also understand why some people will think it is overpriced (someone who don't care about Marvel).

Thanks and I am happy that you like this set. The references are truly awesome. Thank for the tip! I don't have a UV light to test the fluorescence but that would be an interesting addition to my reviews in the future. True, I didn't count the unique colours of the katana but I thought I praised the set enough about the accessories provided. The pictures should also paint a thousand words, if not more. As for the Fuchsia Ninja, I thought that its appearance in TLNM is also a deep reference to the Pink Ninja so you're right about it as close as it can be. Sure? But not here though.

Yes, they are slightly different but I don't think it will be considered as 2 different entries in Bricklink. It is possible that the variation is due to the different manufacturing plant those penguins are made. I noticed that too.

Oh, I thought it is just me... but I can confirm this in both my Mac and PC, as well as Android & iOS phones. Condense is not working.

Yeah, I can see that as well, but he could be an amalgamation of reference to several 80s cartoons as well. A lot of these Prime Empire references got to do with nostalgia, in some ways. I believe the current wave of NINJAGO will not be able to perform this "stop-gap" for castle fans. Being a castle & space (sci-fi) fan, I enjoy this a lot, and I do hope that the next wave will feature something more useful for castle fans next time around. Yes, that's right. That sticker is not numbered, so it is considered an extra. Remember, Cole has always been the foodie in the group, and this wave is all about games, so throwing this reference makes sense and gives us a great easter egg -- whatever that means. I won't overthink if it has something to do with the next season. :) Thank you! I am with you here. I could always wish LEGO to be cheaper. However, where I am coming from, those who collects a lot of minifigures and has been used to buying parted-out minifigures, once you remove the non-minifigure parts and deduct their value-- the minifigures suddenly become unreasonably cheaper than average. And that's why I said it is "fair".

Remember the round pods? Now we have cubes! This is my 29th Eurobricks RA Review, 41404 - Emma's Play Cube. Estimated reading time: 4 minutes, 20 seconds. Overview Name: 41404 - Emma's Play Cube Theme: Friends Year: 2020 (1H) Pieces: 43 Minifigures: 1 (+ 1 mystery animal) Price: GBP 7.99 / USD 9.99 / EUR 9.99 / SGD 14.99 / MYR 49.90 Introduction It's been awhile since I reviewed a Friends set. What grabbed my attention is the introduction of the new impulse buy line up, which oddly reminds me so much of Polly Pocket, I want to check what is special about them. True story: while I was browsing the new LEGO sets in a LEGO store few weeks ago, a stranger next to me blurted out, "Oh! LEGO makes Polly Pockets now." I awkwardly nodded in agreement. First, let's examine this semi-open packaging. The intent is very clear--the designer of these cubes want you to be captivated by the glittery finish of the product. At the top corner, it is also written "1 surprise pet inside" and we'll go into more detail about that shortly. Packaging Emma has always been my favourite Friends minidoll because her colour motif is primarily purple, and this translates to the packaging as well. Unboxing I was surprised that there is no sub-packaging protecting the building instruction and sticker. Once the box is crushed, there is a big chance that any of the thin sheets could slip outside. Regardless, I guess this is the way to be more eco-friendly, with less paper and less plastic packaging. Sticker sheet Zooming into the stickers-- anything that has no number next to it is entirely optional and is considered extra. They can be used to personalise your own play cube. Inside the play cube Inside the play cube, you will find a carton packaging for the mystery pet and another transparent plastic containing small LEGO elements. Mystery Pet Revealed I got a pearl gold cat! There are other variants - magenta, lavender and dark azure. From here onwards, just take note that your cat could be any of these colours. Contents Unpacked Below are all the contents of the 2 clear plastic bags. Some parts that caught my attention are the scissors, laptop and the 1x1 tile with cat portrait. It's also notable that the part # 64570 (Bracket 2 x 6 - 1 x 6 Inverted) is new and it appears the first time in these play cube set series. Build Once you complete the build, the end result is this enclosed clam shell case.. The hinge are complete detachable and looks sturdy enough to last heavy play wear and tear. A tiny room Inside the cube is like a room for these characters where they can do their favourite activities. For Emma, it is grooming pets and then taking their photograph. Notice that the walls of the compartment has 2 studs near the corners to hold several pieces on the wall. I didn't apply the stickers in this photo but later on I decided to put the fake mirror sticker on the Trans-Clear Panel piece because the interior looks so plain. I feel that the cube could have used 1 or 2 more printed elements so that even if I do not put the stickers, the design looks fully furnished. Stackable What's really good about this new play cube is that you can stack them together like how you would do in any LEGO piece. There are 4 anti-studs at the bottom of each clamshell piece, as well as 4 studs on top for each. if you have several of these, they look good snugly stacked on top of each other. Extra pieces You also get these extra pieces. You either hide this away or else you will have trouble keep them inside the cube because there is no cabinet or treasure box where you can hide these spares. Minidolls I am not the biggest minidolls fan but I appreciate them for what they are. Also, I know the pet is not a minidoll and neither a minifigure, but I want to show it next to the minidoll as it an integral part of the randomised mystery item feature in this set. Emma & her cat - front view Emma has a one-side off-shoulder dress with coral flamingo birds forming a heart shape silhouette in the middle. She appears to be using a new skirt and shoe colour combination, too. Emma & her cat - back view Plain and simple. Conclusion In summary: Pros: Practical pocketable storage solution Exciting mystery pet collection Cubes has studs and anti-studs so they are stackable Cons: Rely on stickers to furnish the interior which could be rather plain without them. No storage for spares, unless you want to store them loose inside the cube. Review summary Playability: 8/10 - The cube is slightly bigger than the round pod but the slight increase in size means more real estate in adding pieces and parts to the interior, which makes it more playable. Design / Building Experience: 8/10 - This is a great case of form following function because the cube shape is intended to function as mini-rooms that are now stackable as well. Minidolls: 8/10 - Nothing is extra-ordinary with Emma but it appears to be exclusive to the set because her skirt and shoe colour combination is different. Price / Value for money: 8/10 - While you get less in terms of weight and overall mass compared to the Arcade Pods, the value is offset by the unique mystery pet which is also exciting to collect. Overall: 8/10 - The play cube addresses the short-comings of the round pods -- it's slightly roomier, has more practical shape, and now stackable with studs. Hope to see them used in other themes.
