  1. I don't think Lego will make bigger tyres, either. BTW, I smoothened my hood.... Lego Xerion _ New Hood by JB Technic, auf Flickr And if you want to See some history... Krankenakte Xerion by JB Technic, auf Flickr JB
  2. Hi! Sorry for the name! -> I think I messed up . I tried to blame it on autocorrection but does not really make sense! I also checked on tractor tyres for my Xerion...but 100 EURO....will see. JB
  3. Hi John! Sorry, I am also on the search for more tractor like tyres...don't get me wrong, the Bighorns my Xerion is wearing are cool! This shop has some really good ones but it is almost 25 EURO a piece! http://www.formenbau...lgen-Reifen.php ...or check this out....tyre #432 is pretty cool... http://www.modellbau...2vm81l4ffpc34r2 Found one offering 135mm x 50mm -> approx. 23 EURO per piece: http://www.modellreifen.de/ -> check profiles and price list #2 JB

  6. Thanks! I cannot think of something that made me design the rear axle at a different hight than the front one :). I think it is the angle of the camera...I'll see. Regarding the cylinders, what is your suggestion, keep in mind I'd like to use pneumatic functions? JB
  7. Changed the cabin a bit ...new picture wil follow
  8. I agree! I am sure that the with the der lever the movement coming from the front axle is either directed in the middle where it doesn't create a movement. If it is put all the way to the right it creats the opposite movement. It is like to take your green liftarms (no blue ones needed) and move it to the middle for front steering and to the right to create 4 wheel steering. JB
  9. Thanks! Was tough... cause' not much space to include functions. Planning to build a trailer next... a big ohne :) :)
  10. From what I have seen the lift arms at the bottom end oft the cabin are part of the lifting procedure.
  11. Do you mean that the cabin lifts up and down? If so then, yes! But it lifts when the cabin already turns. On the real one the cabin lifts first, once it reached its heigth then it starts to turn. Like this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qs9pKcTaDag or like this: JB
  12. Maybe a Kooperation with "Bruder". Their Xerion got also hard tires, the flanks are stiff and the middle part is soft. ...also trying to figure out the steering mechanism ... JB
  13. Compared sizes: JBTechnic Height : 26 cm Length: 42 cm Scale: ~1:16 TLG (based on pictures from youtube) Height: ~25 cm Length: ~35 cm Scale: 1:19,434562968743923456843@9123  ...who is coming up with a tire diameter of 107,4 mm???? Edit: Forgot Claas: Height: ~370 cm Length: ~ 749 cm Scale: 1:1 JB
  14. The ones I use a GMade BigHorns: http://tamico.de/Gmade-Bighorn-Rock-Crawling-Reifen-22-2-Stk I am still on the search for farmer-tires with a diameter of 130 mm 'cause I've chosen a scale of 1:16 - pretty massive :sweet: JB Thanks...shifted it back by 1/2 pin...
  15. I use the train battery box on mine, however I hid it under the hood. That way a Front hitch can be Attachés and used e.g. for a mowing device. Lego Xerion 5000 Motor_Receiver JBTechnic by JB Technic, auf Flickr JB
  16. The original one doesn't so I assume the TLG one neither. I am working on eliminating the Portals on mine. It is a challenge since I want to include a servo for steering. JB ------------------------ My Xerion on flickr:

  18. I agree that the battery box on the front hitch would not look quite nice. I expected at least some pneumatics in the set.
  19. Talking about a B- model or a MOC....how about this one:
  20. I also tried a 3-point hitch and figured out that you need good air to make oit work. JB
  21. Who wants to create the B-model of the A-model is a Xerion ..therefore it is good that the B-model is just a change over of the crane.
  22. The ones from the power puller...painted Claas red (sorry to all Lego purists
  23. The result of my research was also no suspension (only under the seat ) but a swinging axle... JB ---------
  24. Here is the video with the cabin...lifting and turning...
