  1. I don't care even though it's somewhat small, it looks the same size as, for example, Santa's Workshop. What bothers me the most is that it doesn't really have anything postal-office-like about it, it could be any building. The building itself is not particularly impressive or detailed either and the hot air balloon is a bit out of place. I haven't bought Winter Village sets in a few years, and I think I'll skip this year as well.
  2. I think "Mom and Dad left to get a cow" could mean that we will get a "Medieval farm" set in the future, which completes the storyline and that would explain the lack of animals in this set.
  3. It's okay, not insta-buy though. For some reason, to my eye, 2 story buildings often look more shallow and more like a facade, even when they are not... that's why I'm not going to buy Holiday Main Street set.
  4. Overall I like it, but it's not 'wow' for me. The facade looks a bit basic, but there's also lots of good things. It looks a lot better between Police Station and Boutique Hotel than it looks separately.
  5. I wonder why 30435 Hogwarts polybag is not available in Europe?
  6. I think that is one of the reasons I don't like this set that much. Those boxy looking buildings don't work very well individually, especially when the sides are so plain and they lack depth. Also, two buildings are not enough for a proper street layout. I think I'll skip this year and wait what they release next year, if they'll continue with this main street theme, I'll reconsider then.
  7. I'll wait for the official pictures, but my first impressions aren't that good. As someone already said, the buildings look more like LEGO City than Winter Village. They don't represent my idea of Winter Village... the style and era are too different, they don't fit that well next to previous WV sets.
  8. Does anyone know dimensions when it is opened? The dimensions on the LEGO page are probably when it is closed: H: 15" (38cm) W: 18" (44cm) D: 13" (33cm). I would like to know does it fit to IKEA Billy shelf 76x26cm.
  9. I really like the idea of Missions theme, it's goes back to the core of Lego but there's new modern twist in it. I hope in the future there will be buildings in that theme as well, I would love to get for example a city house Missions set.
  10. I think Medieval Blacksmith 21325 fits quite well to the modular street, I'm planning to build it on a baseplate, add standard street tiles and fence, and it can be a historic preservation building.
  11. Hopefully we get a diodrama in a same style as 76956 T. Rex Breakout.
  12. If I use VIP reward discount code, can I still get GWP if the original price is over $200?
  13. Overall I like it and I'll probably buy it. It would have been nice if those microfigures were actual molded microfigures, not brick built.
  14. Oh my, I really love it! It looks wonderful, very cute, a bit different layout looks fresh, interior is well detailed. It's a must buy for me.
  15. I work in marketing department in a company, which is not related to LEGO in any way or toy business either. I'm planning to create a short stop motion animation video using "Everyone is Awesome" set (I would take all necessary pictures, no visible logos, very neutral tone without any promotion of our company). Is it legal to post that video to our company social media channels to celebrate Pride month? We wouldn't use it in paid ads or promote our own products with it, it would be just a regular organic post to promote our company values. I know it's not legal to profit from LEGO products in the marketing without permission, but are organic social media posts considered to be part of that?
