This set is an instant classic to me (minus the minifigure design). 2014 is going to be very expensive and I was hoping to take a break.

How can you guys tell him to build it when that windscreen has never been released in trans-yellow?

I mostly just want the girl figure from the set. Love the head and hair especially. I would take off her gloves (exchange with the guy). The 1x2 tiles are really nice. The gold pieces could become a sweet trim in or on a house or treasure room.

This is probably the closest Stargate (movie) set we'll see (tossing the insect aside for Clash of the Titans). I enjoy the unprinted base plate so I could have a tan moon base, tan raised castle, etc. Mechanical sliding doors is something I always fascinate over. The tan and blue parts really make me love the set. I ordered two from TRU last night.

I do like how there are no printed pieces except for the 2x2 round flat plates. Those should have the printed targets especially since they've printed those in the past. Small pieces generally should be printed if those same unprinted pieces are easily available elsewhere. I feel the large pieces are actually ruined when printed because you can't use them for a different theme. So knowing that I can reuse those columns makes me like this set more. The brick red pieces are to die for.
