The brickshelf moderator either thought it was true or didn't like it, but it has been removed from the account. As for me; better next time. (Yup, I tried to fool you guys)

Big Toe
LegOscar replied to LegOscar's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Nopes, as a result of wanting to keep it simple it is only 2x2. -
Big Toe The is over again, and here are the pics of the ride I competed with. I called it Big Toe, you know, a small Big Foot? Without any inspiration I started building a chassis, and without much want I decided to keep it simple: one PF XL for driving, one PF M for steering, some reasonable tires under it and that was that. But, of course, a good truck needs a body. I started at the rear, and gradually I got the taste for building again. I got the idea of making the body in one single piece, so that it would be easy tot take it off for replacing batteries or maintence and stuff. It’s only fixed in one place, for the rest it hangs on the chassis. When I had finished building I started adapting the steering Construction, for being able to house larger wheels. Also, a V6 “fake” engine was added. Well, so at the end there was a nice little MOC nevertheless. I also made a little movie 'bout it:

[REVIEW] 8070 Supercar
LegOscar replied to Blakbird's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Great review, I enjoyed reading it. I don't consider buying it though, I think it's too pricy for what you get. The new joints I will get via Lego Direct then. -

Amazing work, and like the others I also like the fact that this is such an ordinary car.- 761 replies

8070 Supercar
LegOscar replied to BrickWild's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That new piece really is a gain to the lego parts repertory, but for the set I had rather seen some working propulsion and steering because who cares if the hood opens electrically? -
Thanks guys! You'll find me especially in the Technic/Model Team section.

Hello everyone on EB! I only found this topic today, after having signed up for a month already, but off course I'd like to introduce myself to the great public. So here we go! My name is Oscar Verbeek, on the interwebs you can find me as "LegOscar" I live in the Netherlands, and I attend bilingual education, which means that 50% of my lessons are in English. Handy! My hobbies are almost all related to cars, let's see: I like drawing cars I like to keep up wit all the car news (Detroit is on lately!) And off course building LEGO vehicles is what I like! I like to build in Technic or Model Team style, or sometimes combined, which, in my opinion, always makes for the greatest models. Models that look good, but are functional as well. For those interested; My favorite subjects in school are Drawing and IT, and my favourite food is french fries, or pancakes. Well, that's about it I guess, if there are any questions I'll be happy to answer them. My Flickr page: here My YouTube channel: here My Brickshelf: here My Mocpages: here

Models for 2H of 2011
LegOscar replied to menad's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Could it be the rumored "giant technic exclusive"? Because if it's more expensive than the 8043 the MRSP will go in the direction of €200... -

Spyker C8 Laviolette SWB (Short Wheel Base) I built this car for the LugNuts Challenge "By Random Appointment" on Flickr, a car is appointed to you and you have to build it. The Spyker C8 is a sports car produced by the Dutch automaker Spyker Cars. The C8 Spyder is the original base model with an Audi 4.2 litre V8 engine giving the car 400 PS (290 kW) and a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). The C8 spyder T has a more powerful Audi 4.2 litre V8 twin turbo with 525 PS (386 kW) giving it a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph). The C8 Laviolette has the 400 PS (290 kW) Audi engine but unlike the spyder models that come with either a soft or a hard top, the Laviolette has a glass canopy. .... I really liked building this model because of the dificult shapes. Here is a short video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2jWaiVbiNE I hope you like it!

Very nice! I like the way you made the transmission to the tracks but I can understand if some people don't like the way you forced the pieces into place. -
