I need a lot of hands.... But like this picture they only sell them on ebay and in small amounts.. I only want yellow hands though, but if you mix some colors in the bag it is fine, but 70% of them need to be yellow. because I need 35 minifigs re handed

What year did you start Bricking? 1970-1979 1980-1989 1990-1999 2000-2010 Or this year this was back in 1984, It was Xmas and my moms side of the family gave me nothing but legos that year, I must have had like 40+ boxes and well this was the one I loved so dearly back then.... still have most of the parts but I removed the stickers later on, like the bike store logo and window stickers.... After fining it today, my heart stopped and well, I am going to pick it up used now and rebuild it in my town.... Wow, I never felt nostalgic before like this... Thats the reason I posted this thread, may who ever posts back have the same feelings as me right now.

I was picking up the mono rail because of that flaw.... how is the climb rate now on 6" height in a foot come out to be with medium weight cars(say 4 to five of them) Seemed that they slipped a lot to me... but the rubber idea might cure it

Ok, great vids, but as a fellow youtuber, I have to tell you two things..... 1: lighting.....the more the better 2: As close to white or less dark backgrounds and table areas.... other then that you did a fine job... Keep bricking and check out my channel(I would like to have some lego people as friends for when I drop the ball in the coming months with my city layout made 100% for cyber control) I dont have legos on it yet and have not uploaded anything new in a couple months, but I have great content

expand that to include a house with a angry women with her hands pointing at a rake and her eyes focused on her husband working on his car in the garage. Like if to say get off your car and on them leaves already! I would be able to relate to that my self...LOL

I personally think the lego advent calendar should have multiple bricks per day that every day you break down the previous day and combine the current days legos with a new set of instructions..... or just a set that you get a large flat and every day you fallow new instructions to complete it finally on Xmas day... just my idea... mini figs are nice too, but that sounds like a $200 deal in the end

some are already listed in the 2011 catalog bro.... the last addition of the space shuttle take off pad(yes it is the last one, I heard that they will be moving that set into the new millennium with the new rocket assist shuttle NASA plans to use soon) but yes, Talked to customer service(North America) today to hunt down yellow hands for my army men project in the works(they could not help because the hands are a part of the upper body part) and they said most space/ports will be on the tally by 2nd quarter 2011. on a side note, if any one has hands or knows a place for them, please PM me or reply to this post

Well.... took three buildings down today(big ones) and had to do something with the space so I made what made me laugh the hardest..... A trailer, ya and I made it as TV stereotype as possible.... My lungs hurt from the laughing:laugh:..

even though I like the clock tower, this one is the second fave.... I like the simpleness with it and the fact it is not just gray and white... LOL a lot of gray and white ones already done and well different colors are nice to see... in a couple more days I will be seeing too much gray and white outside and having to shovel out my truck and cars will suck.. so any build that keeps that thought out of my head is nice....LOL

I like city my self, but that roman building if it is at the store when I shop ever I will pick it up.... I like the details in it... I dont mind out of normal theme sets my self because its all about parts and hints in the instructions on how to use certain elements correctly or just plain ideas for what you can mod out with the box set... ya all dig?

well if the thinkers at lego have not thought about wheelchairs and ramps and cripple figs, then why am I thinking about it... I had an uncle that lost his leg due to a motorcycle wreck caused by a un chained dog running out in front of him on a road in Mass..... He dumped his bike rather then hitting a dog then slid into a road sign and got gutted bad.... long story short he had a blood clot get jammed in his leg and it went bad fast.... took him almost a year to recover and to every ones surprise he went out and bought a custom road king from Harley with a side car and reverse tranny.... He never stopped riding even with one leg... He later died having a phantom pain on the highway and the doctors said he died fast (was good to know because a long death sucks) when I made my city I was inspired to make a model of him down to the skull cap helmet he always road with.... Yes he has one leg, had some broken pants and was missing the right leg so I used them to complete the model.. Legos has the parts already to produce wheelchairs, so why not?

I already picked up the K-9 van.... 2 days after it was released in stores yes the dog looks goofy, but animals are still animals and we need more selection.... any one see a lego cat..... it is small but as functional as a bird brick...LOL but the K-9 dog looks like you could use that one brick top on his back for function later on... lets see if lego will make a seeing eye dog and blind person fig for the next 16 bags

Well a bum or hobo for under my bridge would make the bad part of my city look better or at least funny.... I know a little castle theme fig and some bottles and stuff would make it happen, but a nice rusty grocery kart full of garbage in the bag with the fig would be a funny plus... hell I would buy 30 of them just for the karts for a store theme on the side

I do a lot right now, but since my collection lacks some basics...(large base flats) I run out of bricks for floors and I dont buy the big sets in hopes of building the box picture... I was and always was a lego fan that looked at box content over the picture for things I needed for other builds.... the only reason I have three stock modular houses is well, I have not built in over 10-15 years now and back then I either could not afford them or we just did not have the details in a box set like that in the past.... I picked up the beach house first because I lost one in real life to divorce and having one set up in my city relaxes me when I see it... I look at a lot of the pictures on the forum and am amazed to say the least with what people have done and until I buy new detailed sets for some major parts I need, I will have a hard time to create any thing that compares.... all my collection is based on 90% 1980's legos... So bare with me until I have another 100 pounds of spare bricks to do details like floors alone.... or I may just have to stick with a trailer park looking village like I have now...LOL

well they do add more complexity to effects in the presentation to your city layout and if you ask me, I like them a lot.

best one on ebay in the last two months had 10ft of track parts and no motor.... guy wanted 250 for it and it sold for almost twice that.... But.... 10ft would only cover half of a room layout in my book, I am either going to buy a couple auctions on ebay or just make a flat block rail set up...(when you make it with just bricks alone) that option would be more costly but a lot smoother in the long run. I will be investing about a grand to complete this... I always wanted one like I said before and the cost does not matter in the end for me... This in the only lego set that the 100 piece per $10 does not apply... Some times you have to take a loss to complete a dream in life, right?
