It was not me taking offense being that I am from German blood my self... Just was shocked about a SS minifig I am a non violence toy theme person my self... I liked that back in my childhood, My mom would not let me have guns as play toys because she believed that they should be respected as tools of the kill... Yes my house had real guns and thats the point. I grew up respecting fire arms as what they needed to be understood as. Then again with a 20$ price tag on these minifigs they are intended for adults any ways, so I see that point. But then again does John need to look like SS other then the shade of his coat? If they looked more like a "German officer" then I would have no point to make... but in the end of the day Johann still looks like a no sense Nazi to me.... I really dont care if they sell them... I was just asking a question when I posted this thread. On the down low though, I wish we had some minifig companies like that one that made city and real life representations of actors and other famous people.... They have the scale down great and all other dont stack up... On the other hand, they make nasty looking accessories though.... but every company has one flaw, right?

well you could do some micro versions of the standard has-mat sings.... you know the four diamonds in one big diamond with 4 colors and up to 4 different numbers

Yes... If your good with them, I will even order some pages from you as well if you have them saved and ready to print... I dont have color in my printer and I run the cheep cartridges so printing on the shiny stuff is a bit hard for me PS, do you print on clear as well?

I would love to take part in this, I just bought that house about 2 weeks back and love it... I would require 2 of them for what I plan and have been planning... No, thank you.... when you post a normal mod for a normal set it is just wow..... but when you mod a set from way back in the day like 20+ years old.... well you can incorporate new details that did not exist back then.... Thats just plain balls and brilliant! Take my 6373 I cant just put that next to the new modular houses.... but add about 500 more bricks and some creative time and it would fit in just nicely... ya know? I just hope more people do what you did and mod the old with the new and truly discover the piece all over again.. I want more, so if you have the time, please dont stop with just the farm house Keep bricking and again, thanks for the post, it inspires me to do the same with the 6373 I will combine that with this.... then it will be ready for the modern city layout... what do you think?

I understand you prolly did not know this but mrexon (exon) stands for something.... it was never eXXon... on the side of my work and my hobbies I make electric motorcycles and record breaking electric pocket bikes... here is a video I hate gas....LOL As for that classic set... those windows came from my original... I do how ever have it on the mind to order that used again shortly and either keep it same or mod it to a real looking shop LOL there is that double X again.... but ya thanks for the positive comment... just wait for what I have planned in my head for later.... But I do blame 80's legoes for the fact I cant build as good as a lot of you... I my self have gone through that dark age my self 15-29 years old I had no legos.... as most kids with a good heart I let my cuz'n have them and regretted it for a long time after until a year ago I got them back.... Then the addiction started right back off LOL them 80's sets for the most part kinds looked square a lot... no details like today.... the 16+yo sets are more detailed then I ever expected legos to ever get in box sets.... I hope more of the $150 sets come to the market soon... sure they cost a lot, but after you build your first corner stone you learn a lot

Club diamond is the place to go when your work week is done and you want to get wasted... No worries though, the cops sub station is right next door but they dont mind if you drink out side of the club.....Just don't puke in their trash can... Club owner still has not put in a railing yet for the second floor stairs, so just be cautious when on the stairs. I made this building today because I was bored and wanted to brick a little.... waiting for more legos sucks you know? It is modular, but I have not done the inside yet.... if you notice the glass it is from my 6373 set..... Inside will be done later I promise.... bar, dance floor, and DJ area... and maybe a brass poll...LOL Hope you like.. I have used all my good blocks already on other buildings and well, this is a left overs building in a way... more to come

very nice, incorporating new bricks for detail work on such an old set..... VERY nice It came out great....put some new minifigs in it and no one would ever know it was as old as it is, that is how great it looks... keep bricking

Wow, that's when minifigs started about that time and was the turning point to legos as we all know them now. I my self got the later version of that in it seemed 1985 great post Iain you go it right on the nail and that is why I was inspired to make this thread I hope a lot of people participate because most of the guys and gals on this forum are from my time as like you. The best thing is, hey ya never know....some one may have got that set back then that you wanted your self or even got your self.... In other words, we can relate better to each other better if we know that intimate lego start in each and all of our lives... looks fun... Some may say the malty theme minifigs throw it off a bit, but when I look at it it seems like they all are on vacation and having a good time... You can really sense a party atmosphere there
