  1. Congrats on another victory and title Ecclesiastes! Excellent work on the micro city.
  2. It's looking good. I like the month name on the side expecially. Would be nice to see a bit more scene on top but hey that's not what a calendar is really about anyway right? There are two things that bother me a bit, on the month name the single stud on either side of the tile - I think i'd just put a plate under that tile and then cheeze wedge on either side. Also some of the tiles above the days are tan and some are yellow - which might be because you ran out of yellow tan but just thought I'd mention it.
  3. Love the colors! Perfect fig for this car design.
  4. Happy Birthday!
  5. I forgot to post here and let you guys know I made an entry and here it is with a link to the comments thread. Comments Thread Voting Thread (just in case you forgot to vote yet) Micro Valholl complete (image is a link to the photo on Flickr)
  6. Sorry about the slow reply! Just catching up after a bunch of other stuff going on. Thanks for the quest #14 Sandy, it was a lot of fun! I'll be catching up in the Hall in the next day or so.
  7. Micro Valholl complete Here is my version of the city in microscale. I put the slums near the docks where the black market would be able to have access to the ships. overhead map view Farms View Front Gate View Jarl's Palace Lake View IMG_5640
  8. Painfully slow. Timeouts all over (two tries to get this reply page to load). It seems like images and scripts are affected because the actual base URL seems to be found find but images pop on so slowly like i'm on dialup. All other sites are working normally for me and I've confirmed others are having the same issue. As I'm typing this, the smileys still have not finished loading. I'm on Mac OSX Lion using Safari (also tried in Firefox).
  9. Here is my entry. The lake has a dock system with a back gate in the wall going to the dock. There is a lighthouse near the lake. The wall has an area for guards to walk along on patrol. There are 6 towers through the wall, one main entrance. More Photos on Comment Thread Next to the lake is the mountain region. On the other side of the city is the main road and the farming. The slums are near the lake entrance. The marketplace is near the main entrance. The Jarl's home is on the raised section. On eather side of the palace (but much lower) is residential area. The community square is large for speaches and festivles. The Palace Area Overhead View
  10. Great review! I think your photos are even better this time then last time and thanks for comparing with similar/pair figs. I want this series even more now! I may need a second job...
  11. There is one in Fabuland, but for a handsaw you'd have to go to Brickforge. Fabuland @ Bricklink Handsaw @ Brickforge
  12. Just before leaving Zelda's chambers, Cinna stops and pulls out a rolled up peice of paper from her bag. "Excuse me, Grand Wizardine, but while we were looking for the Golden Scorpion on the beach, we dug up a bottle. This was inside, I beleive it might belong to you." She hands the note to Zelda. --- Cinna nervously tries to comfort Mabel. Not wanting to say anything but knowing it has to be said. "Don't fret, for Bluto is alive!" She waits for Mabel to grasp what has been said and then continues on, quickly as if ripping off a bandage. "He snuck onto the ship, we actually found him during a battle with some Sirens. He had been hiding in a barrel but the Siren Song drew him out. Since the captain didn't have a way care for Bluto while we were searching for the ingredients, and since Bluto begged to come and had a desperate longing in his heart for adventure, he came with us on our search. While searching for the Golden Scorpion on the beach, Bluto was grievously injured by an Angry Crab. We tried all the healing we could, even our new friend Hoptet, an amazing healer, was unable to cure Bluto. Finally we found out that Baba the witch in the bog would be able to not only tell us how to clean the water we needed for the recipe but also that she could heal Bluto. We were very excited by this and went to see her straight away. She is a very tricky and bad woman though, she would only tell us how to heal him if we agreed to let him stay with her as her new companion. Finally we agreed as there was nothing else we could do and he was on the brink of death. He is fully healed now though, he is living with Baba. We are not yet strong enough to fight her, but as soon as I can I plan to go back to her swamp and rescue your dear son." She stops talking, takes a breath, and waits for the punishment to come. Silent tears leak from the corners of her eyes as she sits looking at Mabel.
  13. The character doesn't know about the journal yet because the player was unable to pay attention to that thread. Have no fear though, the player has a plan and the character will know about the journal soon!
  14. [Oh no of course not, they were hidden at the bottom of my bag. I should fix that thing, it keeps swallowing my stuff.] Cinna hands Beth the Demonic Dust and Golden Scorpion Venom.
  15. "I'm so happy to hear we made it back in time. We did manage to secure all of the ingredients from the receipt." Cinna pulls out the Undead Unicorn Horn and hands it to Beth.
  16. This great. I love the optical illusion with the letters.
  17. Amazing work here. The original full sized one was astounding and I think you've done an excellent job recreating it in micro scale.
  18. Clear out some messages and PM me. No reason to hijack Rakky's thread.
  19. yeah you can check out my bricklink stores. I have some SW figs and also a set you might like "Jabba's Prize" new in sealed box.
  20. We head back to the ship and are ready to go home!
  21. Seeing that Thothwick is busy talking to Hoptet, Cinna hands Bartholomew the 71 gold from her purse, with a smile. "Here you go, I'll loan this to you. I think Thothwick is distracted enjoying having another of his kind around for what little time there is left."
  22. We will now head to the ship and let the captain know we'll be ready to depart tonight after a short trip to the sauk to return the item loaned to us.
  23. "Excellent thank you." She turns to her comrades. "If nobody else has business here we should head to the ship."
  24. Ah cool. The fourth pic didn't show up for me when I looked earlier (happens sometimes on my iPhone)
