Yes they are compatible. Sometimes they are very tight fit though. Also the size of the elements are not the same as regular plate/brick/minifig etc.

When transporting mocs, I put them inside the bag in case parts fall off. I've used the bags to pad items when shipping. I use them to carry stuff sometimes. Eventually I do get too many and have to throw some out.

Not sure...maybe? (modulex rocks) (Thanks) Well if it hasn't been used yet, you might see duplo first in 27. No primo though (I don't have any).

Heroica RPG - Quest #27: Badger Badger Badger
Darkdragon replied to Darkdragon's topic in The Heroica Archive
Tesni and Namyrra finished cleaning off the sewer scum, blood, and who knows what else. Now that they were smelling fresh as ladies should, they dressed and headed to the last place they heard Eric talk about, the Galley. Heading out of the cabin, the sun was high overhead and the two could see many crew members and a few passengers wandering the deck. On the way to the galley they passed the fishing deck and saw a sign about renting fishing poles for the day. Heading down the stairs, the girls entered the dark room full of tables and stools, obviously they had found the right place. There were a few people in here having some stew and ale, but not as many as one might expect on a ship this size that was full of people. To their surprise, they spotted Eric off to one corner sitting at a table with a man they had never seen before. The two seemed to be ...talking and drinking together. As they head toward Eric, the man behind the counter stops them with an unexpected friendly smile. "Welcome ladies. Can I get you a drink? How about some mushroooom soup?" -
What an amazing review. You've pretty much answered all the questions I had about the set here. I love the finished model, but I don't like the looks of the build all that much and I absolutely dislike all those crazy colors and the white part color variation (I've seen some major issues like this with tans and dark red too). I can only hope to get this on sale one day because to me personally it is not worth the sticker price. Hmmm...maybe if it was using Power Functions though.

[pid][/pid]213D [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp] Our news scout Sebeus Iniwum has found a wonderful creation on MOCpages. "swash buckler" has done a superb job recreating one of the most exciting scenes from PotC:On Stranger Tides The London Carriage Chase is really well done because he took the time to actually build the streets and buildings as well as adding, of course, the charriages and the characters. The photos convey the whole story really well and somehow in still images the action comes through. You can see even more photos on his MocPagesthread.

Does fandom influence your Licensed preferences?
Darkdragon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in General LEGO Discussion
A little of both for me. When I first got back into LEGO, not being a Star Wars fan, I was actually against buying and Star Wars sets. So in that case it was a "I don't like the license so I don't like the sets" situation. If I do like a license like PoP, PotC, and LotR then I am likely to buy (or plan to buy) all the sets without even looking to see what they are like. My goal of having as many minifig building options as possible probably contributes to it. I consider most sets as a parts-pack anyway, but getting some faces for actors is really fun to me (like Johnny Depp, Elijah Woods, etc etc). If the set itself is good and/or the parts are great then I will buy multiple copies of the set. Now days, even though I'm not a huge fan of Star Wars, I buy a lot of the SW sets. They will get unique colors and parts a lot of times that can be used anywhere. Some of the best designed minifig parts (torsos) are found in the SW sets. I've learned that passing up something just because I don't like the license it is based on is just rediculous. It's like cutting off your nose to spite your face. -
Heroica RPG - Quest #27: Badger Badger Badger

He tries to follow what Eric is saying, but the rum and sadness mix to stop so much comprehension. He grasps onto what he can understand though, glad to have some company of a man that seems to have as heavy a heart as himself. "A god you say? Well, I hope you won't hurt people as much as some gods seem to do. My poor wife, she was most devoted to her church and family. We moved far away from Havelstam soon after we were married, to set up a parrish in the mountains. After many long years in the savage lands, we finally managed to really help some of the orc natives and tought them to be kind. Last year though, Elana became ill. She was getting worse by the day. None of our medicines would help her, her body felt like it was on fire and she tossed around and did not eat or sleep. I sold almost everything we owned, including this locket, to bring a healer out to help her. The healer did not arrive in time, and she was gone. The gods took her from me! Took one of their most loyal servants and forced me to live the rest of my days without her! Now I am headed to deliver this locket to her father. He was never happy that we left, he said to me "You better keep her safe. You are her husband and her father now." I have failed him, I have failed her, and I will probably be arrested as soon as the ship docks. If I'm arrested, what will happen to the locket? What will happen to Elana's memory?" He downs the rest of the rum from the bottle, Cookee quickly replenishes it and brings another ale for Eric. The cook moves so swiftly and quietly the two men hardly notice he was there. Johan sits staring glassy-eyed at the locket again. Turning it over and over in his hands. -
I think it should take a turn to switch any weapons, from a QM perspective.

I don't think the damage type matters at all, so I'm not sure what the point of that would be unless you are saying enemies immune to "earth elemental" attacks would not get the +1. I don't see the benefit of something like that at all, like Brickdoctor said.

I finaly got shipping confirmation on one order. The second one is still "In process" edit: Just got email that my second order shipped I never did receive order confirmation email for that one though.

2 shots/second would be 12 shots/round seems a "bit" overpowered.

This is a neat idea for a small project. You might want to consider cropping your images so that you can show more of the vignette and less wasted white space in the frame. Also if you add light in front of the model pointing up (so the light will be under the camera and pointing up at the model), you can get a cleaner in-focus photo. Great minifig design

Excellent review Pandora. Perfect photos and a great read too! I never have been able to get my hands on any Paradisa sets (let alone MISB). Though I do manage to get ahold of a lot of the parts for them. This is by far my favorite set in the series, from what I've seen of them. I think it might be the most pink one too, with a lot less light grey than the others - but that could just be my mind playing a trick. The baseplate is so pretty, all the printed parts, the minifig torsos (most of them), and the sail. I think if I would have been given this set as a child I would have been totally thrilled.

Heroica RPG - Quest #27: Badger Badger Badger
Darkdragon replied to Darkdragon's topic in The Heroica Archive
Eric drinks his ale in silence, pondering the events of the past day and becoming lost in his thoughts in the silence of the galley. He pulls out the parchment from Nab Knees and opens it up. Inked neatly are all renditions of all of the symbols he saw in the sewer with information on each of their meanings. There are some symbols he did not see there too. After studying the symbols for a bit, he finally decides to talk to the other man in the room. Eric rolls the parchment back up and stores it under his outter shirt, then heads over to the other table. The old man looks really nervous and is fiddling with a shiny object while drinking rum straight from the bottle. "Oh hello." He takes another drink of rum and sets the bottle down, looking up at Eric. "Have a seat if you like...I'm just waiting to get off this ship. I've been traveling for so long. Spent all my money on the voyage and so I couldnt even afford to leave while we loaded up at the last stop. I'm headed to Havelstam." He fiddles with the items some more, turning it over and over in his hands. It looks like some sort of locket with a long silver chain attached to it. Looking down at it, he continues talking. "I need to get to my wife's father, it's what she would want. I miss her so much. Why did you have to go Elana, why did the gods take you from me?" He takes another drink of rum and seems to recall the man sitting accross from him, he looks up at Eric again "What about you, you seem to be at home on this ship but not with the crew?" Meanwhile, in the party's cabin.... Maurice still sleeps soundly as Tesni and Namyrra enjoy the hidden room. Tesni leaps into the tub and water flies everywhere, but Namyrra just laughs and grabs soap and the brush from the shelf. -
I thought we need to get Sandy's prior approval for artifacts.

Tesni and Namyrra look around the room for a pitcher of water to wash up with. They begin to get frustrated when they don't find anything, and Tesni hits the wall at the end of the room with her fist. The sound that comes from it isn't exactly normal and instead of bruising her knuckles, the wall springs forward slightly. She grabs ahold of it and pulls where it is protruding and it's a door that swings open! Behind the door is a washtub and some sort of metal piping, a towel some exotic cleansing bars. Namyrra walks over and turns the golden knob on the pipes and water starts flowing out of it and into the tub. It smells like seawater...but it's water nonetheless. If there had been any doubt before, this was a sure sign that this was a smuggler's ship. -
Thanks! The claws area is my favorite part too. I'm sorry but that can not be shared at this time.
