A question to Lego Events veterans about Theft
Darkdragon replied to SheepEater's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
At Brickworld 2012, I had a bag of small tan plates (studs, corners, etc) taken from behind my display. Also we lost some minifigures from the Guilds of Historica display. -
Sküld will do nothing, from the back row.

Snotra, aren't you being a bit hard on Sveinn? It seems like he's working as hard as he can with all the same information we have. We are all just looking into what's been said and done, mostly by Hervi, to try and figure out what he knew. If everyone who actually told Hervi thier power role would come forward here or to a trusted source, we can at least deduce what roles are still safe and what has been compromised. Anyone who didn't share role info with Hervi, please don't tell us here. Obviously there are still scum watching and we don't need them getting any more info than they already have.

Wow, this is great. Two more down, at this rate we should be able to get back to feasting very soon. It is too bad Bergulf was killed and he ended up being loyal, but that means lots of stuff we can analyze today at least. I think Dragmall was spot on when he said that Hervi's death would help us no matter what alignment he came up with, and now it's time to start the process and catch the last evil ones.

Eurobricks: A Visual User Guide

What I meant here is the site guidelines in general, we don't specifically have guidelines for topic titles. The part of the guidelines that is most related is the part about proper grammar and punctuation. -
Brickfilm "The Werewolf Terror" (2012)
Darkdragon replied to SanderMania's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
It's alright, now you know. Two more quick notes for you: Please be more aware that we like to use proper spelling, capitalization, and grammar here in our posts. We also don't usually take frontpage requests, but that's not to say something you do will never be frontpaged. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.- 8 replies

I think once people get more use to using the new tags feature, this sort of thing is exactly what it's for. If you are looking at a firehouse with a truck and it's tagged with "firetruck" as one of the tags, at the bottom of the thread the board will list other threads with same tag and you can easily see all the firetrucks! That's just an example.

There are not many dead, and I can't imagine any of the ghosts actively influencing things from the afterlife. No matter how much anger or resentment there might be, I can't see anyone actually doing this, there is too little for any of them to gain from it. I'm not sure why you are playing dumb, we all know you are experienced enough in these matters to know that these types of results always mean something has interfered. Something not quite right that someone who isn't reading the results could miss, and thus the god will have taught them a lesson. A smart person would read the result and think "well that's strange wording, I should look into this closer", saying you don't understand what these qualifiers can mean is simply trying to mislead us into thinking you are confused. Again. The meat of your defense is that a ghost is interfering? Are you missing how horrible that defense is? I think you've been caught without your pants here and you are just trying to tell us all that you are wearing pants. Just stop, the hole you've dug for yourself is deep enough. We've seen in your past D&D sessions that you are fairly quick to meatshield both teammates and circles-of-trust if it will make you look more trustworthy. I think this time, you went overboard with it and taking out two people we all now know were from your play as well as a scum lynch that you didn't start but were very quick to jump to, that was sloppy and you know it. The blood is on your hands, you've done this to yourself. If you were town, knowing a power role and you've claimed you knew not who but how to get word to the protector, why would you suggest protecting a blocker as you just said you had suggested? That doesn't make any sense, obviously a loyal member would have suggested to protect the most powerful person he knew of. I was worried about Dragmall, that fight you had and then all of a sudden "never mind" was too much. Just like others have said. How could you think that was OK and not going to draw suspicion? Did you think it would draw more to him for some reason? How could it? You are the one who started it, and then just to drop it with no explanation. I think you are very convincing and silver-tongued, and the whole thing was a setup to make him look bad. So even if you were killed, he would be next. Well, I think my eyes are finally wide open on this matter. Everything from the "accident" in the pub to the "oops never mind its all ok now" here was a huge setup, it was almost clever.

Brickfilm "The Werewolf Terror" (2012)
Darkdragon replied to SanderMania's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
This is really some excellent work. Not only the animation itself, but the film-making. I love all the angles and lighting, the timing of almost everything is spot-on. Amazing work. Note: I have edited the thread title as it was all caps and we don't usually like to do that here on EB.- 8 replies

Of course yesterday the bandwagon worked out great. However, I am inclined to think that the only people who knew it would are the scum. I voted Bergulf, I stick by that vote from yesterday. Others who voted him jumped off at literally the last moment, even when Gerrid was already enough votes for a lynch. Why would they do that, just so they didn't "not vote for scum"? Apparently that was a good move for them as you don't seem concerned at all with those. Everyone that's not confirmed is still suspicious. Have you heard from a cop, because I sure haven't. Everyone is still suspect, even those who voted Gerrid yesterday. So, to me anyway the most suspicious things we have in the votes are the people who voted for someone "randomly", without any good reasons, and alone (thus splitting the votes and nearly causing no lynch); and the people who jumped on the bandwagon in the last hour or less. Yes you did answer, the same thing over and over. I've read it. I was not satisfied the first day, and I was not satisfied yesterday. I still think you are not being on the level, and I can't put my finger on it. However, I am more worried about other people right now. With Gerrid turning up as scum, I'm much less inclined to think you are too. I think there are much bigger fish to fry here and they are making more and more mistakes as the days progress.

Jump on a bandwagon? Are you serious? How many times have you seen that work out well for a town, bandwagons. Bergulf was suspicious since his Day One actions, we needed and still need answers about that. He was sliding under the radar after havng a hand in getting a townie lynched. I've seen before in stories just like this how an innocent is set up the first day and the second day the evil ones manage to steer the conversation in a new direction, allowing the original set-up-er to skate by unscathed for days.

Another one bites the dust! All the discussion yesterday really did work out well for us in the end. It's really too bad about the vigilante though, he did so well the first night. Is there precedence for passing on that role? That would be great if one of us could inherit it and keep killing the servants. I'm looking at the voting from yesterday and seeing quite a few poeple that jumped off thier votes and onto the bandwagon at the last moment. Would any of you like to explain yourselves, other than "well we needed a lynch"?
