What's the current list of blacklisted stores? I'm putting in a biggish order and want to avoid hassle.

I'd say it's not worth presale. Up to you though.

I'll poke around in my game files then. I make no promises that I'll be able to find it or that it'll be the right size, but I can at least try to find it.

I imagine it'd be relatively easy to extract the model for the claw from the video game and then have it 3D printed if you know anyone with a 3D printer.

Minifigure Wholesale though. Do we know whether it's a good store? I thought there was one a few months ago with a similar name we decided was bad.

Yeah, I think that's where SY are getting all their recent bigfigs from. Let's hope that they make more, and maybe drop into Lego Batman 3.

In fairness, I doubt many bootleg regulars are getting this set for anything other than abomination and maybe Robin. Every other figure has already been out for months,

Maybe they've invested a load into those shitty prints and feel the need to use them. At least they've not tried to do them for detailed parts.

Probably worth waiting to see if SY will do it outside of the set. They've already given us Abomination in a minifigure wave, so they might make it cheaper elsewhere.

That's fantastic, thanks. I'm currently having printer issues where the decals come out in particularly low quality. I'm still going to apply the decal and provide photos as promised, but if you give me a few weeks I'll hopefully have it sorted and can give you a better quality one.

You can keep trying, but it'd be a whole lot easier to get a refund than get your set. I'd avoid that seller in future though. If you reorder, maybe get it from someone else. That's unfortunate, but at least we're getting the figure. I'm still going to buy it if they can put it in a minifigure wave or better yet single sale.

I don't know about that set in particular, but I can say it's a close call between lele and lepin in terms of minifigs. Lele might just win out over lepin in terms of minifigures, but I'd say lepin are a lot more reliable when it comes to the actual blocks for the falcon and other sets.

Maybe they're cheaper, or maybe they've put a big investment in these prints and wants them to pay off. Either way I really don't like them. Still, with hobgoblin at least the legs should be easily replaceable. I don't really think they have any contact info, and if they did it'd likely be all in chinese and difficult to find. It's fair enough really, otherwise they'd get thousands of different people asking them to produce different figures.

For that realistic pokemon set, it wouldn't surprise me if they took existing models and put holes in them, but they're not too bad. The rest look like fun though - what brand are that bull one with constructed pokemon? Do we know what their quality is like?

The Xinh Captain Marvel comes with a fairly standard female head. One side is the regular smile and the other is an angry face. There are probably more out there, but I'd advise you stay away from Pogo for this, particularly their recent X-men waves. Most of the figures are excellent but the female faces are printed weird.

I'll keep an eye out for the pixma line but id I'm to get a printer I don't really have the money for a new one so it'd have to be a used on collection only in my area, and so I'm not going to get quite as much choice in what I can get. That paper looks pretty nice though, I might keep an eye out for that if I can find a UK reseller. I've also had Experts Choice Decal Film recommended to me - I don't suppose you know anything about that brand?

Nice. I usually get seemingly random wait times of two weeks to a month for my orders to come in, though I'm in the UK which might be a bit further away to ship to.

I'm no expert on shipping to New Zealand, but that seems like a pretty good delivery time to me. Regarding your figure's hand I have some good news - almost every figure I have ever bought from Ali has been shipped with one or two spare hands. If you plan to put in another order you should hopefully get a spare hand to replace the damaged one, or the figures are so cheap you should be able to order another one in for yourself at minimal cost. But yeah, good stuff, hope you're happy with your stuff.

It's difficult to tell with them being black. When you look closely at them can you see any hint of blue/purple in a place which should be black? If you look inside the top leg hole can you see any blue/purple in a place where the black paint missed? If you can see any of them, then they're not dual molded.

Perhaps the seller isn't able to have a different shipping cost on each option, so needs to account for it on the main cost.

Nice figures. Unfortunately my first foray into decals ended up looking more like your sticker version than a decal version. I think it's because my inkjet sealant varnish hardened up the decal and made it more like a sticker, but I still have a way to go. The way I'm thinking of dealing with sizing and position is to "continue" the colour of the decal outside the borders and wrap the excess space around the edges of the figure, then let it dry and remove those parts around the edge to leave a decal which goes right the way up to the edge of the piece, and I can then use micro sol to soften it and make it fit more nicely. Does anyone know if that'd work?
