Great colours...really like the blue and white accent...that just pulls it all together. The angles, clean-ness...make an impressive build!

I think this is part of sharing the joy of building. One of my son's best friends has a pretty large Star Wars collection...but broken apart and unsorted, and they want to come to our place all the time to play, as everything is sorted and they can build knowing where to find the pieces they need. It validates the effort I put into the sorting. It's such a great feeling to see their building skills improving, and watching the vignettes they put together having more depth and complication. HOWEVER, it drives me NUTS that they do scenes all the time of dismemberment, and I can't find the arms of the rare giant trolls, or parts from the rarer minifigs...and I want them to be neat, and tidy up...but I don't trust them to tidy up as they know the system enough to find things, but not well enough to put things away. So...I have to constantly remind myself to take a few breaths...and let it go...and remind myself that they are having fun...and have helped stoke my own Lego fire. It's so funny when I get to school with the kids, that their friends all call me the Lego Master. It's funny that my daughter gets annoyed that most of the building is with minifigs that are boys, and she wants more princesses and girls. The solution? I have a lot of pink bricks in the selection now...and a $100 in girl minifigs on the way...plus all the girl CMF!! HAH.

Welcome aboard...I'm fairly new too and having fun with it all!

Winners at Dufferin Mall has a bunch of Lego kits: Robo Champ - $7.99 Atlantis 7984 - $25 some World Racers set The small pink box for $15 ...and some bionicle or Hero Factory stuff...not bad prices
-
Whoooah...this is amazing...and mechanically operational and synchronized? WOW!! I love your work...truly amazing, inspiring stuff.

Great use of the black snake...love it!
-
Not in dark red...hence the $1.61 quantity average price on BL.
-
I know with the Cafe Corner part of the price hike is that it is difficult to make on your own without buying the set as the dark red slope 75 roof pieces used to only be found in the one kit and needed 36 of them...so if you look at BL prices for this piece, they are >$1.50 and can cost much more because of the exclusive source of this one. HOWEVER, the Pet Shop now uses this piece in the new version of dark red, so the pricing for this piece should come down...but it hasn't unless you know how to access direct sources for the parts. Other things like dark green curved slopes from the Emerald Knight, or minifigs that were only released once become rare and can drive the price up. It's a crazy thing the collector mentality, which can drive prices up to crazy proportions for minimal rhyme or reason!

Bricklink is your friend...if you can find a dealer who has the parts, you might get lucky.

The bay window/deck combo is great...love that tan and red-brown combo...very nice...methinks somebody needs a coffee cup in her head to enjoy the view to the garden.
-
Remember that your BL average prices don't include the $10 in shipping...but you paid a few bucks in taxes, so you're still ahead. I'm thinking of going to fill up a cup of tan 1 x 4's, and orange plates for a carrot farm. :) Because of you and your MOCs...I haven't taken a breather on my BL orders and have a couple hundred gray slopes in various forms coming my way amongst other things for an attempt at your amazing rock wall sculpting...grrrrr...now my children will go hungry.
