Obviously both series are available at the Toronto Stores now as this is a couple weeks later. I just picked up the last The Werewolf set. The PaB wall had some alright pieces...but they had a few grab bags which had some interesting mixes...and in the back, they had: #30239 Green Plant Leaves 6 x 5 Swordleaf with Clip #6079 - Fence 1 x 8 x 2 2/3 Tan and DBG Palisade 1x2 bricks Trans-clear cheese slopes Regular picket fences Dark tan 2 x 2 tiles I missed the 1x3x4 trans-clear panes, and the 2x6x6 windows, as well as the DBG 6x16 plates! The guy at the store said they have coming in some pink and purple parts...mostly trans...that will be interesting!

Aaah, to be close for a daily visit. :( Thanks...those dark tan 2x2's are a good one!

You wouldn't by any chance know if the parts differ from the inventory listed HERE do you? I updated the inventory 2 weeks ago when I was there...but nobody has updated it since. I updated the Sherway one a few days ago to make up for it. Would you have any updates? Please...pretty please...with sugar on top? :sweet:

The Toronto Mt. Pleasant Mastermind Toys had a couple full boxes of Series 7 in stock...got my fill, with an amused staff watching me grope my way to glory!

Was just at the Sherway store, and in the back they have a full box of Light Bluish Gray Brick 1 x 3, and Trans-Yellow Plate 1 x 1 in their Pick A Brick stock. I spoke with one of the staff, and she said they are not permitted to order tan and gray too much, as they are required to maintain a certain visual appeal to kids on the wall, so that means predominantly lime, yellow, orange and other coloured parts. When she can order the tan and gray parts, she does...I thought this was interesting. It was the first time I've seen LBG 1x3 bricks which I thought useful to castle and space MOC'ers...

They encourage it...and even provide the tape!! I've been given a bag too when things we're spilling on the counter at checkout.

This is STUNNING...and soooo many clever techniques: Punk rocker flowers partial connection plate walkway Stacked plate leaves WOW WOW WOW!!

This looks great. You're halfway to Groomy's 4 wide version: 4-wide Fire Brigade

Agreed! This has a certain character that the mid-fig version doesn't have. Thumbs up!!
-
Wow...that's a great find...and the sculpting with a plate-built hull is wonderful.
-
Great idea with the bee hive. This is very nice scene...lots of good stuff in it - the fallen log ramp, caven sculpting and waterfall without the use of trans pieces. Well done.

Agree...I thought it was funny too. I think Mr. Bongo is setting himself up to become the Master of the Two-Frame-Funny...

This is superb...the video is fantastic. -
I would actually suggest this piece: It's #bb543c - Friends Dish If you fill it with maybe some yellow levers or something small, it will look less out of place...maybe the 1x1 round tiles but you'll only be able to fit in a couple of those at most... You could substitute the pie piece...I like pie for breakfast. :)

I really like the challenge of brick-building the letters rather than a decal or sticker...very well executed. Mind you...I could have built the same thing...if it wasn't for my meddling kids. ;)

This is great...it really captures the luxurious feel of the elite!! I love the flow of the dark blue into the main pool of the water, and the back scratch pose with the brush.
-
That's a great design. I love the espresso machine.
-
Beautiful building...great techniques with the rounded turret section. I like your details with the fire extinguisher, bank and vending machines...great build to look at. AND...don't forget the great pics too!!!

I was just thinking the same thing...man...BL has cost me money!!

What is with Lego's instruction manual PDFs?
Toadtorrent replied to Zarkan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I embrace the larger file sizes because of the higher resolution. I've never had problems downloading them in less than a few seconds (very fast connection) unless going through a proxy / firewall. What's nice about the larger filesize docs is that if you zoom in to see what's going on, or if you are looking for element id's and need to see what torso or head is being referenced by a particular element id...you can't see the face prints or torso prints in enough detail to determine which part it is you are looking for unless the pictures are higher res. -

Thanks Ben. This fixed the problem for me perfectly. -
Thanks for the instructions. This looks really good. Where did you get your pneumatic hose / flex hose?

To anyone in Canada, I updated the Fairview mall PAB inventory HERE. As well, somebody else updated the Calgary store inventory HERE.
