This is really good. Details are one thing...but more importantly, you captured the "feel" of the machine...
-
About $20 CDN for a large, and $10 for a small.

This is fantastic!! The jeep is amazing, and I love the little details and scale of the MOC. Fantastic job.

REQUEST: Power Miners Blast Roller Instructions
Toadtorrent replied to Toadtorrent's topic in Community
I'm not 100% sure...I just read that it was contained in the December-2009 issue...not sure what the cover looks like. I had not thought of BL for that...thanks for the heads up. I think it will be worth the gamble at <$1!! @Legofan4ever8...I pretty much like everything...but really like the Power Miners complex function designs much more than the Star Wars designs to be honest. -
Hi folks, Is it possible that someone can load up scans of the instructions for the Titanium Command Rig alternate model called the Blast Roller that apparently had build instructions in the December 2009 Issue of Brickmaster magazine?? I searched...but could not find. Mods...I'm not sure if this is the right place for this request...feel free to move the thread as you see fit. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hah...sad but true given the modulars at $149+, UCS sets, etc. >sigh< In USD, $69 and $89 make the City and HQ sets mid-priced compared to the $120 ones. ;) Yeah...I remember the 4x4 plates (they had them in blue, black and tan if I remember correctly), and said they would be getting wheels in soon, but I can't imagine they'll be getting any interesting wheels given that I have a pretty good collection already. Thanks for the response though.

Exploding Snape and Kalima..hilarious!!

I like some of the Cars 2 cars...but don't like that the parts are hard to integrate into general building due to the printing and specialized moulding. You didn't by any chance notice any interesting additions to the Pick a Brick wall did you? Maybe some gray tiles instead of just lime, red and brown?

I love this!!!

This is hilarious. Indeed, the burned out engine is classic...and to have added storyline to mod with the flying carpet. I'm starting to think those 1x3x2 Brick Arches are the ultimate piece!!
-
Yup...regular US price is our 25% off price. I was pricing 2 mid priced sets (Atlantis City and the Earth Defence HQ), and essentially you save about $75...even with the CDN sale price. I'm not planning on heading to the US for another month or so...hopefully there's a sale on at that time, as I don't want to ship anything there quite yet.

This is incredible...dense full of bricky goodness!! That pole dancer...I sputtered out loud...so that's why people have been snapping up the mermaid torsos from the Build a Minifig stations at the Lego stores.
-
Those are quite fun. Thanks for sharing.

I know your pain. The NERVE of these kids playing with LEGO instead of treasuring it...My Preciousssss. ;) I have trained my kids to ask "...is this a really rare piece, can I use it??". HAH. And off they go and cover their cars with 2x4 tiles...sheesh! Use the 1x4's...those are a dime a dozen (or less on BL).

Nice offer and I'm close by...but usually don't have the time to make it there without coming from closer to Don Mills. I need to curb my brick spending in anticipation of a US vacation. Am I the only person that's kind of annoyed that CDN TRU sales at either BOGO 50% off or 20% sales are still more than the US TRU REGULAR price, and Lego.com S@H prices? Factor in the exchange rate, and it's a completely wacked out pricing model. I'm hoping to score a deal on the Earth Defence HQ and the City of Atlantis.

...you need to make a Rest Room trailer and a buffet table. ;) Very neat idea...love the boom.

When I first saw this post, it was shortly out of my dark ages and very quickly I got to Step 13. Now, I'm at Step 19...but always there was Step 23.5...except when kids coming over to build are looking for something specific, and I can tell them exactly where it is without needing to show them in the Lego room...then they have an appreciation. I laughed as I realized my Power Functions box evolved to also become my over-flow box.

I kept meaning to take pictures of the wall to fill in the inventory...but have forgotten to when I get there being caught up in the PaB loading frenzy. It's funny that they do have a variety of interesting coloured 2x4's, when for most MOCs, I think people are using 1 wide bricks and not the 2-wide. I've rarely seen a high volume of 2x4 usage, but HUGE amounts of 1-wide usage in grays, tans, etc...which was a little disappointing to find these NOT on the Toronto PaB wall. Next time I make it out, I'll try and do an inventory check.

That's a good deal...time to build some armies!!!

Uuuuuuh...WOOOOOWWW! The trans-dark blue back lit up is STUNNING.

Looking for a few torsos
Toadtorrent replied to Still Raindrop's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I love it...the letter of the law (and given shipping costs) versus the SPIRIT of the law...been there...am generally there. On a serious note, given the torsos on BL are less than $0.75, one order with small shipping will be less than 2 trades with 2 shipping costs. -
Very clever use of the corner and bracket pieces to create the triangle.

...easy there...it's the Queen's language...and she's getting a bit old. Maybe I shouldn't write on this thread...Commonwealth doesn't quite count as British.

I love the mermaid...very nice touch!!! Them's a whole lotta cannon!!
