  1. It's available to order now. I've just placed an order (with double VIP points!). Locutis
  2. I just finished ordering mine. With double VIP points, it almost pays for the shipping. Luckily I had an unused gift card that I could spend with it. Because of the higher cost over the previous modulars, I'll have to think hard about ordering multiples of this set. Locutis
  3. All I can say is "WOW" I *love* this station! Very nice detailing. I love how you've captured the real station so realistically. Locutis
  4. My 9-year-old son Jeffery made this WWI trench battle scene, and wanted me to put it together for him for Youtube. Here are the results. Enjoy! The Battlefield (on Youtube) Locutis
  5. I do find this building a feeling of "mixed bag". I like it a lot, but there are things that for some reason don't appeal all that much to me. It has a lot of detail, but in some ways it seems plain to me. Two years ago I was selling Lego sets in my city at Christmas time, and I was selling a lot of Family Home 6754 sets. I asked the people who they were for, and every time it was for a little girl for Christmas, because most Lego isn't appealing to girls, but that one was. I think because the TH set was designed by Astrid, a female, we will find many girls/women interested in this set. I think Lego is trying to bridge the gender gap with this set. I know it kind of started with the Pet Shop, but I think this is a trend we will start to see with this line. The Pet Shop was presented by Jamie, but I'm not sure if he designed it fully. This one is clearly designed by a women, so it will definitely appeal to girls/women as well (especially with the bride/groom part). If more females become "addicted" to this line (modulars), they have done a good job, because if more people buy these modulars, there will be more created! Locutis
  6. Very well done. I like it a lot. Locutis
  7. Sometimes it's best (for your wallet) to not be a purist when it comes to building these rare and expensive sets. I found with my project of building the Market Street that some substitutions made the project more affordable. And, most people can't tell the difference! Those who can, well, it's your set, NOT theirs! Locutis
  8. Wow! Very well done. Keep up the good work. Locutis
  9. Uh... Where's Market Street ? Nevermind, I see it now... Locutis
  10. Wow, that's really nice! I think you've captured the large model in minifig scale very well. Locutis
  11. Congratulations to all the winners. Good job to all who participated. Very nice entries all around. Locutis
  12. Very nicely done. One of my favourite building colours is dark red. You've appealed to me! Keep_on_brickin'! (hah! I got around the "I'm a conformist") Locutis
  13. Have you read this? Locutis
  14. That looks really nice 'dede_la_fee'. Did you consider doing the first level in a different color like in the original Market Street? Perhaps brown? I wonder if that would add to your building or not. As it is, it looks really good. I like your stairs better, and you have interior details not present in the official Market Street. Looks really good! I had considered building a Market Street in a different color because I wanted one so badly. In the end I ended up using the correct colors (in most cases), but not the correct pieces (substituted cheaper bigger/smaller ones to make the walls). Locutis

I said good things about the building, but I did indicated I did not like the subject matter in relation to the MOC. Yes, these things exist today, but that doesn't mean it should be "lifted up" or elevated. I'm not trying to start a fight, I was merely indicating my opinion regarding the subject matter. Don't get me wrong, I'm not the kind of person who pickets and protests outside of the local strip club. What other people do is their business. The building itself is wonderful. Locutis
  16. Nice design on your MOC. I never would have considered a modular so small, but it works very well! Locutis
  17. A very nice MOC CGH! I love the 'Joes Garage' sign, and the way you've made the brick walls with both bricks and plates. It adds an "old brick" feeling to the building. I really like your garage door, and how "messy" you've made the tools look, just like a real garage. The vehicles are nicely designed, too. Overall, it's a very nicely done MOC. Locutis

Very nicely designed building and interior details 'Bernd'. I do like the styles of the rooms, and the colours and details. The Egyptian and Japanese rooms are neat, sort of reminds me of a 'theme room' hotel. I also like the pub. I can't say that I like the subject matter, though. I think you could have displayed this MOC with fewer implications about what it's about. Edit: looks like you took some advice and modified your post. Locutis
  19. Wow, that certainly is incredible! You've captured Jamie's building very well, and even applied some of your own touches. Very well done. Locutis
  20. 1. Tatertots - 1 4. Dix - 2 8. cava - 2 Great entries everyone! Locutis
  21. Could you post/send pics of this, please? I'm very interested in seeing what this looks like. Locutis
  22. My favourite has always been the 10182 Cafe Corner. Locutis
  23. A nice set, and a very good and helpful review. Thanks! Locutis
  24. A very nice modular building. I like it a lot. I'm glad I could help with a suggestion, and the final result looks better than I could have imagined. Good job! Locutis
  25. I have the 7722 Train Set. I was just thinking I could power the Loco using the 88002 PF Motor. I would build a new red battery car out of bricks, and house the AAA battery box inside to power the PF motor. Any thoughts on this? My original train motor stopped working decades ago. Locutis
