Drow, are race of dark elves, located in the Underdark. I've indexed all my Drow cities with all fantasy made minifigs in this post, and I will update it with new creations The atmosphere should be dark, with a lot of angry looking Drow, undead, demons and other fantasy creatures. Cities should also look dark and scary, but in the same time they should be tall and slim showing all greatness of elfish architecture. I love details, and making patterns with arch bricks. Water, as one of the wealth indicators in Underdark is always present. And a tree, a show-of how the strong Drow magic is, when it can sustain a green plant underground. Bridges are always present, fire and crystals. You will meet a whole bunch of familiar faces in those cities, some passing trough, some living in them, and others attacking it; like Bodhi, Viconia deVir, Lloth, Drizzt Do'Urden and others. Baldur's gate is my favorite game, as you can see ;) And there is one girl-only paladin group that really does not like Drow, and they are making fuss everywhere. They are strong, tough, fearless and wearing makeup :) Some creations are more then 3m high, usually few meters long. All minifigs, as well as the city are totally "playable". In other words, nothing is just leaned on to another just for photographs, a no minifigs will come apart when taken into hands, you can play with everything; city itself is accessible and easy to play with. Last night I've let my PC to read me "song of fire and ice"", the 3rd one, instead of music, and I've build. Here's what's new: Entrance gate, notice huge black chain, each link is two minifigs high; Few pictures of construction of the whole castle, because I build where ever my eye lands :) In folder "construction" I've putted few more pictures, and some construction solutions, like for stained glass church windows, considering that they are made of baseplates that are vertical New spider, made for church top:

Oh common, could we not have some iny miny fantasy element, like a creature of some kind, or winged warrior, or even an angel warrior? It is not so much to ask, it is just one mold :) And, if fantasy is too much, implement it in a real life - winged statue in a church? Or, in this case winged statue on the square... ...as long as we are wishing :)

Well... who has the biggest wallet will have the biggest army, isn't it so? I've seen in classic-castles "battle contest" smaller armies but with much more interesting pictures... I do not know, I am trying to see why anyone would be proud about how much money he can put aside for minifigs and accessories. There is not a single creative thing in it, and there how we are missing the essence of Lego :)

few new things: church of l'Loth (realy, I am building it like it is a real one, so much time:) New keep, entrance and the moving bridge will bee leaning on it New rooftop Ambient pictures of the one of the towers New window (the light felt so beautiful while I was building, I had to take a picture:) Part of a spider body that will go atop the sacrifite pit And finally new minifigs :) (pictures are links to larger ones) (Look at the first one enlarged - fearsome, reminded me of some of the Night Watch (but he would need a normal body) :) and for the other one, I've tried to use new heroica helm, but I can not find a head that would fit really tight. Any ideas? Yes, yes, it is a flying axe :) In here I am particularly satisfied with shield :) And this little underdark forest spirit, he is much nicer enlarged :)

nope, Menzoberranzan was my biggest castle ( And by the amount of bricks that I have left, I think it will stay the biggest... But :) I do think that Lith My'athar will be the most complex one, and if I have enough bricks for tall, slim tower, the prettiest one ;)

New update ;) When I say that castle is growing, I literary mean it :) with new temple it is already 1.5m high, and when temple is done, it will be almost 3m (or how high is the ceiling) from the first to the last step on a temple stairway Temple If everything goes as planed (and I do not stay without bricks) temple will be connected with main castle via towers, and if I happen to be in an artistic mood, it will have big L'loth figures 10 times as big as minifig Once again, this is work in progress, and as you can see in the pictures, I have a custom of rearranging and constantly changing everything during building, this will definitely not be the final version New windows and I like them very much :) it's a pity that I do not have enough bricks for more of them Spider from L'loth's temple All this and many more you can find in folder construction when approved by moderators and all together can be found in folder Lith My'athar What do you think, with work so far?

Well... as a castle oriented, I love new types of bricks, animals and accessories for minifigs, but on the other hand, I do miss fantasy elements I would love to see new armor and helmet designs, and some "fantasy" weapons (like the new dragon-katana in ninjago) besides that, this could be one of the best castle themes until now (except forestmen, because I've never had dark ages, and when they came, it was so much joy and happiness, more then with kingdoms) :)

Well... this can be a sword with two blades, or a coin with two sides, I don't know which metaphor is right, but: The more bricks you have, the more you need If you buy 10.000 1x2 bricks, you will want at least 1000 1x1 brick of the same color, more arches, more everything! And you start building bigger, immediately you ran out of some things that you never considered, like plates, 1x1 and 1x2 The point of lego is, I think, to build the best with what you have, if something is missing, to find a way around it I always use almost every single part in my mocs, the only thing that stays unused are wheels and wedges:) I could not wait for bricklink order to arrive to finish something :)
