I've translated the story for the challenge 3. "How to scribe love in the air" Long ago, the story says that the West of Historica was the most beautiful part of the country: the green valleys were intertwined with the raging rivers, people hummed while working, and kids often slept under the open roof, telling jokes to stars, and watching their flashing from laughter. The next day, talking amongst each other, they confessed his feelings for her to one another, and regarding that all three wanted the chance with Elesee, to solve this without a quarrel, they agreed to make attempt to win her heart, with each having a day to do so. She blinking enthusiastically admiring the architecture, ingenuity and aesthetics of the city, and respected him as an architect and artist, and she would live here until the end of her life, but all that brought no deeper feeling about him, and she confessed to him. Sadly, he replied that the town is still hers, and that he will build another day and a crystal temple, somewhere near, on top of a mountain, where she can be herself and knit her thoughts. Tomorrow, there was no sign of the third brother. Embarrassed, he was sitting under a tree, in a new city on the cloud; His wings were smaller than the wings of his brothers, and although his words were true, and wise, they were brief and without poetic sound, his hands, though valuable, did not even knew how to build a house, let alone the whole city. And what to offer her? He loved her, truly, honestly, with his whole body and soul, but how to show that? Luna. And then she cut that also near her name: "Elesee was here, in sparkly Luna" A little confused, he gave her bundle with the crystal. As she saw it, her childish silliness disappeared, and the next two years she spent in the same place, motionless, watching the vibrations of crystals. And he was standing next to her, similarly, without moving. When the two years past, she blinked, looked at him very clearly and said that she fully understands, and feels the same. And kissed him. They spent next three years so, with joined lips, on the roof next to "T Elesee was here, in sparkly Luna" But the story of a magical crystal was spreading throughout the Nocturnus, and many came to see the glow on the roof and two who were in love forever, and not just good beings. Elesee felt pity for the creature, and wrote love trough the air using brightness of crystal, but from nowhere a dagger appeared and only grazed her skin, but the smell of the blade was like the Underdark spider's poison, and Elesee fainted, closed her eyes and her lips became cold. A Phaer-Xun lifted the crystal, exultant. But the three brothers were angels; they felted that something was wrong and using wind's speed flu to the roof, but it was too late. Horrified, all three of them stroked once with their flaming swords, chasing despicable Drow, but each missed, and Phaer-Xun was gone. But each of these swing of a sword, according to legend, left mark on all the city walls, and that is why there are three white lines which extend around the city; For years, the brothers looked for Drow, and what exactly happened, nobody knows, but rumor has it that the brothers finally found her somewhere in the mountain snows of Mitgardia, and no one ever again heard about her, they took the crystal and return it to the city, which the called "Elesee-Luna"; they planted a crystal, and now it grows along with the plants. Three brothers made her a tomb in one part of the city, and the flowers always grow there, even in winter... People were talking about this events, and the city has for long been a legend, but skilful Valsharess found the location of the city, and really, there it was, on a cloud, She led a company of lowlife humans who attacked the angels, and while one of the demons negotiate with them, she went with daughter and a pair of mercenary adventurers to find a crystal. And she found it inside a huge flower, but alas, that flower was not naive, and when she was caught, the daughter asked for crystal, and when she received it, she left her mother to sink along with a flower. And just like that, it was the end of the great and famous Valsharess, whom united all the Drow cities under hers heel. And so, in one afternoon, Yvonnel ruled the kingdom of Drow. And a crystal? Some say that she was watching it every day for two months, and her eyes crossed from white to red, but the love never showed in the crystal glittering, and Yvonnel never inquired how it looks like, or how it feels to be loved. However, the crystal still contains a great power, and Yvonnel has colorful plans when it comes to conquering the world ...

And the tomb with a hart stayed :) Oh, damn, I am going to translate it now :) Btw, I could not resist, notice that guy who is peeing in celestial pool? Drow are really unscrupulous! And they rule Supreme! Btw, putting on a side a story about Elesee and tri angel brothers, Valsharess was on a quest to get the fire crystal, but her daughter betrayed her, and she never left the sparkling streets of Elesee-Luna, ending her long ruling of the Drow. I use castle walls only for construction, and 80% of building is done with 1x2 brick, supported with 1x1, 2x2 and 2x3. Those 20% left, 15 go to arch, slope and inverted slope, and 5% to all other bricks My advice would be to choose one color (let's say white) and combine it with shades of gray that come in lotr sets, and later expand to another color, let's say black, or dark red, if you have a PaB near by, or money to buy them via internet (they are much more expensive) You can use imagination when expanding lotr sets, because the book gives you room to imagine what things/buildings/people looked like, and the movie... well, you can follow the movie, and still expand (Helms deep is so complex even in a move, that you could build and build and build and not finish, the mountain, the stream, endless rows of walls, etc :) I am a castle fan, but I buy all lego, because I can use it all; but I will not buy lotr, because I use red and black, blue and white colors, and have almost no grey... It will be cheaper to just buy minifigs over bricklink. And not all, I can make hobbits on my own, humans to, just the armor, weapons, creatures and monsters, Gandalf's beard and similar :) I can not wait for them to focus on elves :)

Update: Valsharess, storming trough the hallways of Elesee-Luna One of the trees that are not in the heavenly garden City is growing; you can notice water, half done clouds and other things Mosaics are on the way (painstaking long process, I must admit:) Bird of paradise :) My favorite :) and I do not know the word for this on english, but google says it is "pithy rays", those litle darker green straws inside every leaf ;)

:) There is always a way :) Pity, few more days would really get the pressure off, but it was a long shot anyway; if I've started building on time, I wouldn't be in this situation :)

**************************** Dear Historicians, I can not finish challenge 3 until the deadline. I need at least 7 more building days, and that is five days over the top. I could say "finished" and just take a picture of what I've built but it is just partly done, or I could not participate in a challenge, and publish finished castle 7 days later... If I am the only one who could use few more days, than nothing, but if there is more of you there that could use few more days for fine-tuning, maybe we could make another extension, until 17th, or even 15th, as every day counts. I am no sitting over my half done cloud, looking at foundations for one of the buildings that bridge is attached for, and thinking about all of this. What do you think?

Wow, great pictures, Khaliphlians :) Great crack in the road (reminded me of Dragon age I:), fearsome monster, great entries - bravo. Like we always said: if we ever wage a war against Historica, we will enslave you the last :)

Ah ah ah, now this sounds like an interesting opportunity for the Drow... we should start mobilizing immediately. It's a pity our queen Valsharess is on a crusade searching for the crystal with her daughter and most of the army, or we could react faster... well, world will be there for the taking even after 12.th may :)

Update: The stone walls are starting to get shape, statues and mosaics on doors and walls are getting noticeable, and the floors are getting tiled. Vertical water is implemented. The horizontal will have to wait (because of the dust, which is the prime enemy of the Drow, after the elves :). Bases for the clouds are being attached, and now I have only one problem - I have no more desk space for building :) I have only eight days left, and the only thing I can not evade is work; I've told my girlfriend that I have to go to training, on training I've told them that I have plans with my friends, and to my friends I've told that I have to spend some time with my girl, and I am building every moment that I can spend, I enjoying my self so much! :) The second it starts to be an obligation and not fun, I will stop; we will conquer challenges some other time. But it is pure fun

bah, even this +12 days wont be enough... :(
