Yes, thats exactly the problem... If there's no feedback, I'm always limited to my own view... Huh, that was kind of philosophical..... ;)
-
No problem, dudes :D Please always mention those things, that helps alot! (In this case the background image was linked to a local file of mine, so I wasn't aware of the problem....)
-
Now? :'( (And thanks for the friendly words! :))
-
Better now?
-
Thanks for the info and for sharing, Huw! :) And welcome here!!
-
SHOULD be solved, if not please say it.... :$ Oh, and thanks for mentioning.... :)
-
Hang on, I'll try to fix it.... (for me it works.... :/ )

Admin Warning: NO TIE'ING HERE!!!!

The fact? It isnt supposed to be THAT MUCH close to the movie, isn't it??? 8-| (Thats a bit too much sadistic for a toy IMO)

Hm... I really like them more than the 2004 sets... Buzz Saw: Its the load of a catapult... (Similar catapults on the big castle's walls) New (?) accessories for horses: A shame that there isn't any additional thing for covering the whole body of the horses, but nice to see a start by the head-covering parts... (Especially in several colors) 8874: Nice parts (gates, horse + headgear, weapons, helmets,...), but nothing special 8876: sweet, the scorpion looks good from what I can see, and I like the hanging cage on the right... Big Castle: Pros: - BURPs: two new brown ones AND the new smaller molds from the ice alpha team series in new brown - Build on tan plates, no baseplates -> good! (IMO) ;) - The buzz saw catapults look good ("realistic", at least in comparisson with the catapult from the small set) - The big sloped pieces (Haven't any.... :'() - Overall some cool parts like accessories, minifigs, windows, chains, gate doors.... Cons: - The big bionicle swords at the entrance.... |-/ Overall: Nice set!!! :)

Lol, you're welcome.... :D That's exactly what I thought when I read those lines... EDIT: Brickshelf is down the second time today..... :/
-
Yes... Its better than the first story tellers, but hasn't more structure or whatever than the Jabba storytellers.... (But tan Battle Droid arms... *wub* )
-
Wierd... But thanks for the info!
-
No idea, but they are similar to the Anakin's starfighter / Vulture Droid box design....
-
Hm... But then it would be a "mechanical droid" instead of a medical one.... :P MY guess is: TLC hadn't better parts that look like chirurgical tools (The 2x2 belville tile with doctor tools printing wouldn't fit in here..... :D :P) so they used those tools...
-
Jon, ARE you reading MY posts???? |-/ :P
-
Huh, thanks for the info!!!! :oo Nice that the medical droid works with craftsman tools.... :D The droid itself looks good, but the rest of the set doesn't really satisfy me.... :/
-
I should add that we would appreciate a little fee from you by clicking a few times the sponsor links at the front page and the bottom of the forum pages.... :D :D :D ;) But I have a question: Will there be a summary about all those happening later on? To be honest: I REALLY lost the overview.... ;)

First Look - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
ApophisV replied to DoubleT's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Wasn't it planned to release one movie per year when they decided to make the movies? So that the actors would always be as old as their role counterparts? -
Oh, there were some great mods for half life (1) in progress.... but as far as I know all (even those who looked almost complete) died sometime..... :'( By the way: Any infos / homepage about this game?

First Look - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Uh.... loooooong time...... >-| -
The game doesn't really interested me either (besides the fact that it's fan ware). The Mag would be cool though I don't think that it will be available for me here in Germany.... :( But maybe I should move to UK, it seems like you are able to see things sooner than me.... :( (Haven't even heard of a new Battlestar Galactica :'( )

Cello, as I have often said here in many threads, even if we criticize FBTB it doesn't mean that there is any "fight" between the two communities. (Just like the same about TLC: AFOLs complain about things like color changes, but nonetheless they are still addicted to Lego) In general I really like FBTB (in fact it was the first internet community I ever joined), nonetheless are there things handled (or are going on ) in a way that could / should be changed in my opinion. So why not talking about those problems we see? Okay, sometimes comments about FBTB were harsh (*cough* David * cough*) and I'm sorry about those, I think it is possible to complain in a friendly way from now on.... :P ;) So enjoy your stay here, maybe some of our opinions will inspire people to see things from different points of view! :)

First of all, welcome here, Ian! Back on topic: I haven't read any of the books, I'm currently fighting my way through Robert Asprin's demon books, and there are still MANY MANY Terry Pratchett books that I want to read... (Oh, and I'm waiting for softcover versions of the newest Dark Tower books of Stephen King) So you see: no chance to read Harry Potter the next years..... ;) (One day I want to read them, but currently really no time... :( )

Huh, Ras, you was VERY close to become our newest banned member... :P ;) (just kidding.... ;))
