If I'm talking about "Battle Droids" or "Battle Droid parts" I am ALWAY ALWAYS ALWAYS talking about my nice, beloved, sweet, cute, beautiful, great and superb Episode I tan Battle Droids..... *wub* And wasn't anywhere said that there will be a completely new sort of Battle Droids on Episode III?!?

Looks superb! I like your design much more than TLC's and the original design, your fighter looks more massive and realistic than the fragile official versions...

Okay, here are my thoughts... ;) 7255: The legs are Battle Droid legs.... The head is a mold (that was sure), but it looks a bit too fat IMO.. The torso is a new mold, I expect something like the skeleton' torso... With a cylinder to attach the head (like at the minifigs) About the arms I'm really not sure... Are there two or four?!? The look mostly like normal Battle Droid arms, but I'm not 100% sure about this.... And how are they connected?!? Most of the pictures showing them going to different directions, if they are connected like they are at the Battle Droids this isn't possible. So maybe they ARE new molds, and at one side they got some skeleton like ball joint connection.... But this are just my thoughts, what do you think about this?!? The beast looks better at this picture, the colors harmonize more: 7261: Wow.... that looks much better than everything I'd expected.... First of all: Sand green Scout Trooper!!! Then we get new printed shields (4 pieces attached to the speeder bike), two Battle Droids (*wub*) and a silly looking Mace... The vehicle itself looks great.... Very massive and detailed.... 7260: THIS is one of the sets I'll get for sure... Though this looks very "ancient", its looking cool too...I'm happy that the "boat pieces" are made from parts and not using molds (I thought they'd use the islanders' canoes) Nice parts, nice design, some Minifigs (yoda, the other Jedi, troopers,...) My only complain is, that they included once again this shooting mechanism..... :/ Oh, and that trooper vehicle looks silly..... 7258: Erm....Ugly.... wierd... and ugly.... and wierd..... Bleh..... >-| 7259: BEAUTIFUL!!!! *wub* A large fighter, well contructed, nice parts, nice color scheme, I really love it.... *satis* And we get THREE(!!!!) TransGrey canopies..... |-D 7257: A playset.... Bad diorama thing, but nice part source and nice for playing with it (wait... we're AFOLs... we DON'T play with Lego... we use it for display and collecting purposes.... I will NOT play with it... I will not.... I... I.... I WANNA PLAY WITH IT!!!! NOW!!!!!! :D :D ) Huh, enough for now.... ;)

At least this sounds more interesting to me than the normal Bionicle theme... And think about this: Minifig sized Bionicles could make some great droids.... For sure they'll use pieces like droid arms and such stuff....
