  1. If I can scrounge up the $200 this is a day one purchase. I'm not surprised that this set is getting mixed views initially. You can't please some people sadly, and I hope once the set actually releases, we'll see more positive attitudes about it.
  2. No, that uses medium stone grey and white. Light Stone Grey hasn't been used since 2010. It's not in their palette anymore. Also, 400th post!
  3. It's a shame that color has been out of production for 7 years now. I don't LEGO reintroduced discontinued colors.
  4. It can't be avoided, but it can be modded
  5. I thought UCS sets mostly used printed pieces, save for the plaque
  6. The proportions are correct. They just look odd because the first UCS as well as the system scale sets extended the nose out too far. On that note of system scale sets, I expect the next new one will have a scaled down version of this new cockpit piece.
  7. It's been a while. LEGO just usually now splits their stickers into multiple ones that only go on a single piece per sticker.
  8. Those intake vents near the back seem to be giant stickers. Blehhhh.
  9. I think a Saw minifig would look more along the lines of this:
  10. Character has dark green legs, a reddish-brown body, and some sort of dark green shoulder pauldrons (?). I don't think it's a character from Star Wars. I think that's from Ninjago.
  11. Those helmets look painted to me. I can see a hint of light blue-ish grey underneath the metallic grey on that dude in the top right.
  12. I plan on resubmitting it with more angles. Glad you like it!
  13. "The Joke's on you! I have my own vehicle now, Batsy! It's sure to put a SMILE on your face! Hohoho!" Essentially, this is a modified Batmobile, but more suited to everyone's favorite villain. Its devilish grin on the front strike fear and an odd sense of amusement into anyone in the Joke-mobile's path. The color scheme was designed to match that of the Joker himself, and the gold highlights pay homage to his other favorite vehicle, the Lowrider. I decided to include a Cesar Romero Joker because of nostalgia, and that I like how his more magenta suit adds more diversity to the set's appearance. Please leave a comment, or idea on how I could improve this for the future! Suggestions are welcome! This is also on LEGO Rebrick in the Best of Batman contest. See it here!
  14. Are you on mobile or PC? It's working fine for me on PC, except I can't seem to click on any of the projects on the home page.
  15. It's a brick version update. Added one piece (the 1x1 block with two corner studs)
  16. Beautiful set. Will definitely buy it.
  17. Cough cough. Well this is a beautiful set. Sand green and reddish-brown heaven. Looks almost identical to the original submission, just scaled down ever so slightly.
  18. Indeed. I find it weird how they'd only release one part in this update. There are many more new pieces that need to be added that were released around the same time or before this corner brick. I don't see any bug fixes either. That needs to be taken care of as well.
  19. I think that's common knowledge now. They're really screwing themselves here.
  20. So not sure if anyone noticed, a new brick version of LDD came out today. I'm working on finding all the new stuff they added. As far as I can tell, the only new pieces added were the 1x1 brick with 2 corner knobs and the new Technic bucket. Lame.
  21. Very stylish. Looks almost identical to the ILM model.
  22. The 2017 version is better, but I wish the red cones they used to cap off the engines weren't so prominent. On the actual vehicle, that dark red is just a ring around the outer edge near the exhaust port, not a giant block that covers the whole thing.
  23. I thought it was confirmed on reddit by our old friend C4?
  24. Unfortunately my hard drive crashed and I lost my work on this model. I'll have to start from scratch and use this screenshot as a guide.
