  1. 9398 was just begging for 42054 wheels and they fit him wonderfully! It drives slightly faster, climbs the same and looks great.
  2. I have. And just like Lego he does not explain three, but two functions. There are three positions of the lower gearbox switch. I've had this set for a week now, but I suppose it's still to early to discuss a specific feature. I'll wait until more people get it.
  3. These are the two functions of the lower conveyor described by Lego. There is no mention of "locked lock" function. The lower conveyor rotates with the structure in "N" position also. So "N" and "locked lock" both rotate the lower coveyor, but "locked lock" position prevents the conveyor to be moved by accident. Agreed or do I keep looking?
  4. To those who have this set: Why does the lower gearbox have three positions? "N" is neutral, "unlocked lock" does what instructions say and "locked lock" does..... what?
  5. Thanks! I realized I should have posted here, but I could not move it myself.
  6. Lego has some weird availability cases and this is one of them. Not that I'm complaining! I just bought this set in my hometown Zagreb, Croatia. It was the only one in the country, and ordered from Hungary on my request. The store is called "Baby center" and Lego is not their main bussiness. None of the other stores will do this. The price was 268 US$ or 244 €. So, like I expirienced before, there is no rule on date, price or place of set availability. Ok, so... first! Now, on to building! Oh, I forgot! 5,9 kg!!! That is one heavy Lego box!
  7. The best review of 42056 there is. This should be the standard for all reviewers. http://rebrickable.com/blog/2016/review-lego-42056-porsche-911-GT3-RS
  8. @wumsi Yes thank you, that is what I'm looking for. But I wanted the PDF file and for Lego to deliver what I paid for. @legolijntje Thanks! They still need to fix the error and I need to learn how to access cached files. Edit: no knowledge needed. :( Files exist, just on another page. And I thought I would learn somthing new.
  9. Hi! Instructions for 42043 are missing from Lego website. However you search the result is always the same: nothing found. I wanted instructions for B model, but there are none. A or B. I've written to Lego customer service a couple of times, but ofcourse there is no answer. Could you people write them also so maybe, maaaaaybe they fix it? In the meantime, does anyone have instructions fo 42043 B model to send me? Thanks!
  10. A lot of comments are regarding the price. That is just a rumor. Not even remotely official. So just don't worry about "300 €" or consider it in calculations.
  11. Creative genius!
  12. Of course it's amazing! So big and still so detailed. What also amazes me is the price of these MOCs. I have about 24000 lego pieces and that was expensive. But this... absurd.
  13. Thanks! All my videos have him since he can't stop fighting my Lego!
  14. The container looks great! Now I'll definitely try to make a tankcart myself.
  15. I had two projects: to make a very strong/good climber vehicle and a fast one. This is the climbing one. I used four EV3 L motors and ten 32019 tires. Motors are an overkill, two would have been enough. The main problem was traction and weight distribution. As a climbing surface I used a "Kapa fix" board. That is a very challenging (slick) surface, but great for comparison since it is easily obtainable and same for everyone. The "car" does nothing special, it is just fun to watch it climb very steep inclines. Current "record" is 55°.
  16. First political moc I have seen! Apart from that it is perfect.
  17. Well, the "box question" remains. As for the 42039 set, I think that is a middle size box and they never come with top opening. Just like 42029 or 60052.
  18. All that without any info on the topic. Tsk, tsk... Ok post in general. To reply, as I mentioned I will never sell my legos. The Lego comunity has a strong emphasis on the monetary value of legos. I share that interest only as a buyer. And complain of the prices. Besides, here is my collection: http://rebrickable.c...ile/Silvio/sets It is literally impossible for me to profit from this for at least 3 decades. And by than they would have been heavily used. Stop lego slavery!
  19. I have this: As opposed to this:
  20. Hey zux! I just remembered that I have a picture of the box. Now, uploading it here... is another thing. Will do that tomorrow.
  21. Unfortunately, I no longer have the box. The ones I cannot use as storage for my parts I throw away. After 15 or so years I stoped keeping all the boxes. And I don't flatten them since I'll never sell my Legos or otherwise use the boxes. Although, I must admit it breaks my hearth to throw them. Some of them are beautyfull. Now, for the origin of the set. I bought it in Croatia but I think that all of mainland Europe has the same ones. And I don't think it is just the location (if at all). My big sets have both types of boxes. 42030 - top, 9398 - top, 8285 - top, 10214 - side, 42009 - side... I don't see a patern. And, as Blondie-Wan just said, it seems country is not the issue here. Maybe there is a "plan", but I sure don't see one.
  22. Hi! I can't find any info on this on the web, so if anyone can help, please do. I have the 42009 set wich came in a box that opens on the side. I don't like that type of box because I can't hold the pieces in it while building. I like the top opening boxes. The thing is, I saw the same set with the top opening. How come that same sets come in different types of boxes? Not different print, but different opening.
