Another cool ship. I like the windscreen/dome combo but it look like the dome is only jammed in by the windscreen and the 2x2 with stud. (you wont get points off, I'm just curios ) I assume the tag with H03 is a leftover from last week and this is for H06 Farmolis as both the title and text say so. (Otherwise tell me and I change the title.)

Thank you. I have come to like “mega blocks” as a bad word ever since I noticed Eurobricks replaced a-s-s (and probably others too) in an early story. Yes, it's a piece from a spinner. 98343pb03 Thank you. Yes, the lawn look a bit empty but grass peaces might have been to much. I wanted a well kept lawn and all tiles wouldn't look good at all. Maybe (as you said) just a few tiles and cheese slopes would have worked. Thanks for the advice. I could probably have added some brown and a few flowers around the bushes too. And don't worry, I got nothing but the best waiting for them (why isn't there a smiley for maniacal laugh? )

It has now been one year since I joined AG! Here is a summery of Ravens adventures. (It's in chronological order. If you want the posted order you can use the player index but they ar basicaly the same.) The links take you to the story and the pictures go to flickr. Any comments you may have is better taken here so not to bump old threads. Year one When I first arrived in Andromeda I mostly made scouting missions. I made a discovery on Sorn but it's classified. Between you and me, it was an alien ruin. I investigated a droid sabotage on Guinevere. Totally didn't retaliate No, sure you didn't. Then I infiltrated the dust demons . You know the pirates that really bugged us in the beginning. Had to raid our own supplies before I got to go to their base at Guinevere. After a minor setback I almost got their leader before someone bombed the shit out of the base . Unfortunately the Commodore, their leader, got away. Our only lead was an insider selling information to the Demons but Koro, the cybernetic ninja, just killed him . (mccoyed's build) It also turned out that working under cower counted as overtime so I had to take a day of to not violate work laws. Then I was back to scouting and raiding again. After a while I got promoted to Fleet captain. But I think that was just an excuse to get me to babysit explorers on Sorn. And again on Guinevere but at least then we had some action . Then we got a lead on the Dust Demons again and I got to have a friendly conversation with the guy I met in the Guinevere base. I know what a “friendly conversation” is. Did you get any useful information? Of course. They gave me the location of their new main base. After waiting on Koro to disable the security I led the assault on the Dust Demons base and even had to battle Koro to stop him killing the Commodore. In the end he killed the Commodore anyway (mccoyed's build), against my direct orders. For my leadership, or no one else being around, I got the new job as CEO of Kawashita. I had to endure board meetings and border disputes as well as boring board briefings . When I couldn't take it any more I went to the shooting range to blow some steam. Yeah, and you held out how many hours? 834 and a half. Okay, you are making that up. And then I had to endure a Christmas party which cased me to miss an encounter with an alien fleet. The horror. (very sarcastic) Then, when I went out on a flight to clear my head from all this, I decided to investigate a missing scout ship . It turned out it was hijacked by aliens . When the backup team arrived we went in to take back the ship but the rest is classified at the highest level. Right, so what happened? I can't tell you. What? You've told me a lot of “highest level” secrets about your missions. You can tell me the basics at least. Normally yes buy this is serious top level shit. All I can say is that I got shot, my life flashed by but I survived, obviously. I flew over to a diplomatic meeting that turned into quite a spy mission . I can't really say any more. Only a few people in the absolute top of the company know the rest. There is much more but it's not very interesting. I may as well tell you about ordinary test driving of various vehicles. Now you are just trying to end the conversation. What more have you done? Fine. I was back in my office on the KFD Resolution and managed the company again. While I was exploring I was called for Jury duty. MANTIS wanted a public trail and I had to attend. Then when I was talking to my assistant I got word that an alien fleet was attacking us. We fought hard but it was going bad so I ordered a retreat. We managed to lose them for a short while and I used the time to go over the status of our ships and get information from ALIEN . They where called Separatists and would soon attack again. We had a major fleet battle and got assistance from both MANTIS and ALIEN Afterwards there was a victory ceremony and I was awarded a “captain's hat”. I might have drank to much as I had a weird dream that night. That's about it for my first year.

It's supposed to be the entrance to my challenge building but the red around the doors are more based on the gate from the 70728 Battle for Ninjago City which I also took the windows from.

Yes it do fit Raven's character. I just have a little problem writing it like that as I'm really nice myself (in Mass effect I hit the roof on Paragon points 3/4 into the game )

I was going to address some of this in the story later but I could just take it here. I first thought you meant the dialog until I realized it was the letters I think it is a general retailer who sell both Kawashita and Octan, as weel as other companies products (and pay a lot to KG for the location ) As for approving, think about it like this. You can either spend money on trying to get unofficial products of the market or make money on an official version. (I heard rumors of a Spicy Steven and Cosmic Carl hiting markets soon ) Right, camera footage? According to the specs it's very accurate “all over”. Do you use to walk around near naked in the halways or do they have cameras in the looker rooms? Fine, it was medical scans. I have been hurt a few times you know. You, hurt? Ha! How long did it take to model it?

Nice to get some back story from Spacer Steve (even if the way it happened wasn't so nice) Loved the joke about expensive the monorails have gotten The Saucer Centurion must have been one of my favorite childhood sets and you captured it great. Instantly recognizable. My only complain is that the droid look like Mickey Mouse with those round tiles behind him

Nice to see Raven from someone else perspective. Really well written (and Raven looked good too) Maybe just a little too “menacing” (but that might be how many see her or at lest what Kramer needed) Or maybe it was because of this: Some time ago on the Crentium Station Finally I'm done and can go to Orinchi. Rule update! Home world bonus Just like the fleets were introduced after the unknown menace, the home world challenge now add a new rule. Building at the home world now gives a 100% resource bonus! This double the amount of awesomnium you get for your score but do not effect items or tech bonuses. Hopefully we will see more builds on our home worlds now as they have been a bit ignored for tactical reasons so far.

Happy anniversary Andromeda's GATEs! I joined AG two weeks after launch and didn't plan to build much. That didn't last long and since then I have made 41 weekly builds (not counting new arrivals on week 46), 7 challenge builds, missed 2 weeks (not counting the first two), gotten the third most credits in the game, become CEO of Kawashita and a staff member. Thank you Bob and everyone else for making this game! Also, David FNJ mentioned to summarize his story which gave me the idea to do the same for Raven's first year in Andromeda. I will post it as a freebuild at my anniversary on May 31.

It's worse. As First Executive he is in charge (acting CEO) while Raven is away (in the story, if you like. I will still handle tactics and CEO stuff for the game)

That recording is obviously faked. Do you expect us to believe this: “OK Dad! We love our homework! ” Yeah right (or MANTIS have very different homework to do ) :laugh: Cool builds and I really like your Dust Demon story. Raven will have to stop hanging with her family and stop this family and their mysterious research (bet it's “Art of War” The fonding he's asking for is 12000 awesomnium, 9400 water... )

Thank you all! I like the “wheels” myself too. Yes it's photoshoped. I tried forced perspective but it took too long to get it right (and I was short on time). If I had made it work I'd included a photo of the setup too. I'm actually not to fond of the photoshoping (the background removal could have been better) but thank you for appreciating it

No such destination. Ow for crying out loud! The AI in Louise's toys are smarter then this! No such destination. It's the tower right next to the Kawashita square. With the big statue. You want to go to the Kawashita square? No, the tower next too... Fine Go to Kawashita square. You want to go to the Kawashita square? Yes!! Some time later. Arrived at Kawashita square. That will cost 10 credits. What! Thats like a quarter of a weeks salery! Faliur to pay I will drive you to a police station. Fine. Vichtor pay the overpriced cab and they can get out. There it is Louise, the whatever it's called tower. We will be living there for a while.

A lot of you seems to like the “sillynes” of this build, especially the cannonball (and now I see pombe taking it even further with some balls inspired aliens ) Maybe I will take more inspiration from pombe in the future.
