Did you watch the review? That pirate minifigure has back printing identical to Ronin.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

Hah? Like dark red and dark blue, or what? Also, some skybound pirates have the same back sword sheath print as Ronin. And that raises questions.- 4,591 replies

Ronin was part of the pirate faction confirmed. Also, we've had 3 sword holders so far. one sideways, two crossing, two double sideways, and now I think we should get the double horizontal parallel sheaths. these: They'd need to be a bit longer (to avoid the ground), but even so i'd think they'd look amazing.

Nexo Knights has gimmick sets? Huh then. The spinners best suited Ninjago, as the name is literally, masters of spinjitzu. If there's ever a theme of the ancient Ninja era (which was samurai + ninja), not only could we have a First Spinjitzu Master figure, but also the return of spinners, since the likes of Bonezai Bonsai and such could somehow know spinjitzu. It was way better than airjitzu in my opinion, at least airjitzu could have came with a card.
-
Except that spinjitzu reflects your elemental properties. Nya has water. So it should be dark red/crimson with splishy splash effects.
-
Speaking of crimson and blue, what should her spinjitzu be? I'd like it if it was crimson, but with a water feel to it. Like crimson water or something. Airjitzu would probably be dark red, since no elemental powers = blue airjitzu, so it's safe to say at least her airjitzu is red.

Dogshank has what looks like an orange tube on the left side of her chest. Also, her entire face isn't blue. Maybe stone army members need to brush their teeth to prevent it? Joke, it probably is an Oni, but I don't know if they will mention that in the show.

Overlooked details on the Ninjago minifigures
gamejutzu replied to gamejutzu's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Another edit! This one is for anyone getting those golden scabbards. -
Is it still okay for me to envision a golem for Cole? I could even make one LDD... But Dogshank is called a "her" in two different descriptions. Coincidence?
-
It could also be a stone samurai. Kozu has a pale face with red markings as well. I also thing Dogshank is a mech suit. I mean, how do you attach flags to your back?? It would also explain why Nya is fighting her, a little rivalry maybe?

Well, the book is probably made with pure evil, so there's that. That toy ad though.. -

I meant character-wise useless. They seem pretty clear cut the way they are now. Also, that's a really good idea, I just hope they don't follow Power Rangers with the wearer of the outfit. -
I still think Cole's should have been a ancient golem who was alive for like 1000000 years and is covered in foliage or something. Yes, but that upper jaw can either be perceived as teeth or a beak...
-
The joke was that the description is clearly referring to Dogshank as the "her", but I made it that Squffy was the "her", since they are both in the same paragraph. That review could have used more pictures. Is Zane's symbol a cat or a bird? Why did LEGO need to mess up the symbols? I doubt Doubloon is a skeleton, he has no nose and he has teeth. I think he is a member of the stone army.

That would actually make Axl and Aaron less useless, and here I was thinking it couldn't be done. Maybe they could make Jestro steal all of the BoM's power, and now he can make monsters and do real magic by himself. Then he dumps the book in lava. Jestro also has the potential to share a relationship with either Clay or Merlok (someone who was his friend, or someone he hates). And also, am I the only one that thinks Ninjago has better animation (combat) than Chima and Nexo Knights? There is that gaming term. "graphics for gameplay" or "gameplay for graphics". Nexo Knights and Chima follow that in my opinion. They both look gorgeous, but have bad-ish animation. -
Tbh I was joking more than I actually meant it. The idea of PWR suits are actually pretty lame, except like an underwater theme. However I would like for the next dimensions game to have deepstone Jay as his next outfit, so he can also use the ghostbuster trap thing. I also thought Morro should have been a boss of the Ghostbuster world instead of flipping ZOD of all people out of nowhere.

You got it wrong. Visuals are superb. But animation is not really that good at all. Especially combat-wise. In this area, Ninjago is better. -
Brickfan's description: "Defend the island from Sqiffy’s pirate flyer and the Dogshank big figure’s attacks, dropping coconuts on her from the tower and Sensei Wu’s hot air balloon." I guess there's some more confirmation Squiffy's a girl then. I think we can expect it to be similar to the deepstone phoenix. Hageman brothers retweeted it. Did you use metallic spray or something for the hair?

Lego Nexo Knights TV Series Discussion

It was so-so. I can say with full confidence, that these first 2 episodes definitely are more cheesier than Ninjago's and even Chima's. Clay seems cool (is he also voiced by Tong?). Aaron and Axl are filler. Macy has a clear motivation, and is half-cliche, but also half a new character. Jestro is played by Kai's actor and the BoM is played by Garmadon's. Jestro could have had a better "aren't you sick of ___" moment, with camera spins and a new determination, but still being kinda fragile. The fight scene with Clay and the monster had good animation. But the team fight had terrible animation, I can say it was worse than Chima's. I know they can improve the above issues. But the one think I actually hate, not irritated by, is the scan. It's a huge toy commercial. All in all, it was okay, I guess I need to see at least half the season or so to judge. Ninjago's first 2 episodes are much more interesting, glasses off and all. I mean, come on. It was a bit cliche, but so much more happened (in a good way). At least the animation there was better. Gotta agree on that. I could say that the first 2 here are better than Chima though. They improved from there, but still, in Chima they tried to mask the cliche somehow. But here, it's in the open. I don't hate this show or anything, i'm just saying I don't get how this was better than Ninjago's first two. Please don't kill me or anything -
I suspected that, it just nagged me, and just when I got over it too XD Jay Nuva, congrats on that Zane statue! You are one of the few people with titanium hair!

I guess since there's peace at the time, he became less... Flashy.. I guess.. Those parents are most likely canon. They have the same hair color and hair similarities. Of course inspiration was taken from them.- 4,591 replies
