  1. @DonQuixote @Lion King Don't fight guys, it's all good! I appreciate all the feedback I get and people taking the time to comment. Samurai Castle is currently in review. So let's hope for the best! Ps. I have a brand new model for BDP Series 9. You can check it out here!
  2. Hi everyone! I have submitted a brand new model to BDP Series 9 I wanted to share with you: The Sunset Hotel. The set is inspired by the Art Deco buildings on Miami's Ocean Drive and is my tribute to Paradisa, the classic LEGO theme from the 90's. The build consists of just over 2500 pieces and 8 minifigures. I'd love to hear your opinion on this build! If you like it, you can vote for it on Bricklink. Every vote and comment is highly appreciated!
  3. Yes! The instructions are available for free on Rebrickable! I've submitted a new MOC to BDP Series 9. It's in currently in the voting phase. You can check it out here.
  4. I lost my password to EB and I had some trouble resetting it That's why I haven't responded to all your messages until now... I absolutely loved the minifigs and all the cool parts like the fish statues and the printed slopes! Just reached 5K yesterday! Really happy with all the support so far. Thank you! I wanted this model to have the classic LEGO building experience, while keeping things fresh and interesting. There's a lot references to Ninja and small easter eggs in there too! Thank you so much for the kind words! I've indeed used fences for the windows. They really give the classic Japanese vibes and the top of the fences can slide into a brick without friction/stress. Thank you very much! I really want a more "realistic" ninja/samurai set, so I figured I should build it myself ;)
  5. Hello everyone! This is Samurai Castle my new project for LEGO Ideas! A modular Japanese castle with a full interior and 8 minifigures. The build is a tribute to Ninja, the classic Castle sub-theme for 1998 and 1999. One of my favorite themes from when I was a kid. The build takes a lot of inspiration from set 6093 Flying Ninja Fortress and features multiple references to the set. I would love to see a more '"realistic" samurai/ninja set from LEGO, similar to LEGO Ideas Viking Village. Let me know what you think! If you like the model, you can support it on LEGO Ideas: LEGO IDEAS - Samurai Castle Thank you!
  6. I'd like to call it cozy ;) Thank you for your vote!
  7. Hi everyone! I'm excited to show you my submission for Bricklink Designer Program Series 4: Fire Lookout Tower! Voting is open until Friday. If you like it, you can vote here: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-4/1198/Fire-Lookout-Tower The model consists of around 1370 pieces and includes 3 minifigures: the firewatch (and his dog) and the hiker couple (who actually represent my parents). The tower has a detailed exterior and interior and I've included a lot of cool mini-builds. On the outside you'll find a porta-potty, a generator and a water tank. The interior includes a desk (with a computer, radio and a desk fan), a bed for both the firewatch and his dog, the Osborne fire finder (spins 360), a small kitchen and a wood burner. I think this model would look fantastic to several exisiting LEGO sets including the A-frame cabin (see image below) and the yellow Land Rover Defender. You can also find additional images via the linke above. Let me know what you think and all feedback is highly appreciated! Thank you! Ps. Can you find the knights helmet used in a different way for this model? ;)
  8. Thanks for the kinds words all! Appreciate all the feedback! The helmet on the statue is a "custom" part. I tried to replicate the old Bat Lord helmet as that part wasn't available in the software I used. I does consist of 2 existing piece though: Ultron's helmet (Marvel) and a Batarang.
  9. Hi everyone! I'm excited to show you my new LEGO Ideas project: Vampire's Lair! The set is a mix between Castle and Monster Fighters with elements of Gothic architecture. You'll also find references to some of my favourite childhood LEGO themes like Fright Knights, Wolfpack and Adventurers. Let me know what you think! If you like it, you can vote here to support it. Thank you :) Stefan
  10. Thank you! I'm incredibly excited and really looking forward to work with Bricklink to prepare the set for crowdfunding/production!
  11. Hi everyone! I'd like to share with you my submission for Bricklink's Designer Program (BDP): The Snack Shack! The BDP is currently in the voting stage after which 5 sets will be selected for crowd funding. Your vote is highly appreciated! It's a 548-piece build inspired by a foodtruck I visited during a trip to Key West (Florida). The build includes a compact snack bar in a classic travel trailer with a small front deck, palm tree and other exterior detail. The interior includes a deep fryer, a fridge, a condiment station and a prep station with milkshake machine and sandwich grill. I think the Snack Shack would be a great addition to any LEGO city. The trailer can be easily removed from the base, so you can place it anywhere you like. I'd love to hear what you guy think!
  12. Like many, I wasn't impressed with the proportions and some of the details of the officials set. Here are some of my adjusments: Redesigned the droid-pod (missing the new 2022 angled piece in Studio unfortunately) Made the body (in front of the cockpit) 2 studs shorter Changed the width of the front wing Redesigned the front/mounted guns Let me know what you think!
  13. I don't want to be that guy... But we don't know if R2 has front printing in the trash compactor set. We can't see it in any of the pictures... Edit: never mind. You can see the printing in a video on LEGO's Instagram.
  14. The state of B&P is kind of weird right now. Netherlands uses the new system. None of the new March pieces are available, so I called. The LEGO-employee was super helpful, but he had no idea why I couldn't order them online because I could order all those pieces by phone. Nice surprise: I was able to order the elephant body this way. Not so nice surprise: shipping costs increased from €1,80 to €6,00 on all orders... Then I received the invoice for my Jan 24 order. It was less then I ordered. Checked the status of my order: some pieces shipped, other still in warehouse. Never had this happen, but shipping costs were reduced. Strange though.
  15. What the actual f... None of those parts seem to be available in the new B&P system (using Dutch website). Really happy with the change so far...
