  1. As far as I remember Milady from A. Dumas' "The 3 Musketeers" movie stole English drawings of a sailing battleship with a baloon to make the ship fly. Artilery couldn't hit Zeppelins even during WW I. So having Zeppelin pirates would be invincible. But I agree that removing all the techno crap will make all pirate creations look better, just as in your case. what do you think?
  2. Your marvelous, Medievalcreation looks nice. The combination of stone and wood looks great. I like the playability of your creation and that you combined a few different ideas in one set. Perhaps we can exchange building techniques because. And I like the story, too. Keep on building.
  3. Before the first LEGO Pirates sets were issued, LEGO Castle was the most impressive series of all. And your marvelous creation proves - why. The combination of stone and wood looks great. I like the playability of your creation and that you combined a few different ideas in one set. If soldiers guard the windmill it means there is no peace in that place. Will you add a story?
  4. It depends on how much you change it. Everybody is inspired with existing sets. So try and good luck.
  5. It's super nostalgic, perfect job. I have recently bought the set for $100 but a used one and with no mini figures or ship. I wish I had the red coat admiral and the unique sails of the ship. Will you upload it in LEGO ideas? Somet6imes they re-issue legendary sets. (For example Black Sea Barrakuda in 2002.
  6. The more we learm the more we know. I'm glad you show masts of different years.
  7. You converted a flying thing into a sailing one. So welcome to pirates of the 7 seas!
  8. The most impressive sailing ship I remember now is the flagship of the Sweden Royal fleet WASA. I wrote about it here when saw a LEGO replica. There weren't words enough to describe it because my jaw dropped too low to speak. The same with your ship - it deserves a big exhibition.
  9. There was a mini figure of Neptune. So if you take it, Ursula, Ariel and Plankton from LEGO Sponge Bob you can creat a Disney classic scene about Murmaid where the sea witch gets a trident. We can use it as a ship figure of a pirate ship.
  10. It seems as if you die and get into LEGO paradise!!!
  11. A cool creation of fists for such a scale. Never thought one can use such pieces in such a way.
  12. A nice historic building in general but the walls seem to be too many-colored.
  13. An impressive creation! I support it and hope for yours. Try to add some waves.
  14. A nice replica of one of the 7 wonders of the world. Hope to see others in future. which one of them is your favourite?
  15. An impressive Medieval house near a swamp, just for Maleficent
  16. I expected much more from captain Hook. If Ursula has a blue flame hair piece it would be an ideal Aid.
  17. We shall see LEGO MOVIE -2 soon and you'll get much more inspiration of the kind. Keep on building.
  18. Awesome - Disney classic characters are for ever.
  19. Were you ispired by the ninjago sky pirates?
  20. Is he dancing as a Spanish don or are his hands chained? We hope to see a parade of your awesome figures some day.
  21. The additional pictures look great as well. The details are just marvelous. Many thanks for your advice - it'll help me to improve my photography technique (I hope), though my poor vision doesn't allow me to work on the computer with photos. Your ship is huge. But did you see Yamata - a Japanese flagship or LEGO Titanic?
  22. I like old front sails because they have printing on both sides, so it's easy to take their pictures. Modern sails have printing on one side only, which doesn't look nice. As in yours - 70413. You take nice pictures now. Please advise how to take good quality pictures without flash and back lights (It's not allowed in LEGO ideas).
  23. I like old front sails because they have printing on both sides, so it's easy to take their pictures. Modern sails have printing on one side only, which doesn't look nice. Do you know about 5007028? - the mini set has a booklet about the best pirate sets of many years. You'd like to combine a few pirate sets in a board game for your daughter - LEGO issues pirate board games every 5 years. So your version can be the next one. Good luck.
  24. Thanks for your fast and detailed replytю When you finish her try to upload it in LEGO ideas.Your military ship will be a pearl of UCS. If I am completely honest I don't see a purely pirates set getting anywhere close to the 10k support though it's a dream of any LEGO fan. -And The Flying Dutchman - as large as yours - can prove the possibility. I think pirate Lego Ideas are always worth trying. Perhaps LEGO fans will support pirate projects not only because they like them but also just as a way of telling Lego we are still here and let them not forget us. I am trying to have fun with my Lego and want everyone else to enjoy it too, in whatever way they choose. LEGO ideas is the best chance for fans to create the same set as yours.
  25. That's really a super diorama! I like the playability of your creation and that you combined a few different ideas in one set. The combination of unusual colours looks great. How long have you been creating LEGO dioramas to get such imagination? It looks very surrealistic. Do you have any pirate projects?
