  1. And does the Hulkbuster look like the big Ronin Mech from Ninjago? War Machine printing looks good, similar to Iron Man’s
  2. Yeah it seems sharper than previous ones. Hope we get a look at the front and more leaks soon.
  3. Same here. Dual molded boots, vibrant iconic colors, the head print is best we’ve ever had, and great accessories. I will take a classic Symbiote suit any day now though Lego. Don’t make them put it in a movie first.
  4. Wow this is unexpected. I’ve been in the process of trying to downsize and sell off 80-90% of my collection (really only keeping superhero stuff I like) but I WILL buy this entire series. Give us some sought after characters and variants and you’ll have a forum full of happy folks for once.
  5. If you take the sides off of the helicopter build it actually makes for a pretty nice looking heavy lift helicopter. Nothing compared to the Black Widow set though, that builds awesome. But yeah, the best parts of the set are the Chitauri chariot, Hulk/Nano-Gauntlet, and Rescue. Rescue’s backpack build isn’t great but if you replace it with the Outrider neck attachment and some other parts it can look really nice and accurate.
  6. To thank us for our continued support they can give us a Bricktober type pack with all the minifigures they’ve missed in the past. Or any kind of special set.
  7. Dang. Oh well, hopefully we’ll see them sooner rather than later but we have time. I miss the old NYTFs when entire waves worth of sets were revealed and displayed on those shelves.
  8. Will the Avengers sets be shown? Are they embargoed until tomorrow or are they not even at Toy Fair?
  9. I think these sets look surprisingly nice and some like the Temple and Plane can be repurposed for a city type theme. They look bright, fun, and genuinely good. Kids will love them, adults can display them. The worst part seems to be a lot of rumored prices. ($30 for the plane thats $15 max).
  10. Same here, he looks perfect! Venom has the Spider-Man web blaster type pieces in black now which is cool. The T-Rex actually looks really cool and the Iron Spider is nice too. Spidey’s vehicle is meh as usual but the sets still great.
  11. The black and white slicked back one from the Ninjago Bricktober pack would be a decent choice if they’re being lazy.
  12. Nick Fury’s appearance in the video game is seen on a comic book tie-in. Its basically MCU Fury with the goatee but with classic Fury’s graying hair. Maybe THIS will be the wave to get a more plain Black Widow.
  13. Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Its really unfortunate because the original’s gold claw back pieces were really good looking. Beside the point: I hope the upcoming Black Widow figure looks good and doesn’t have any weird bright lines. I just want a black/gray Widow for once without any white or blue on it. Similar to how she appeared in Avengers 1, Endgame, or the upcoming game.
  14. I will say this every time they say another Harley figure is coming out: I hope this Harley uses the cheerleader hair piece but is half red and black! But its probably going to be another half pink half blue fig.
  15. Haha, the universes you’d create as a kid were the best. Every once in a while I’ll look through my minifigure bins and see a face print that would be the villain of my fictional world and revel in the memory of good times. Also, playsets tend to be more expensive. The biggest set I had when I was younger was the Batcave. This is why Juniors/4+ sets that are locations, despite being so simple, are so valuable. I think if Lego did smaller ($25-$30) location sets that weren’t so Junior-ized, kids and adults alike would buy them.
  16. Yeah I’d agree, its just the nature of having sharp 2x2s ship alongside smooth trans pieces. Haha yeah they’re really good at replacing parts even from B&P orders. I remember about a year ago emailing them that my order was taking about a month to ship (it was out of the warehouse for that time period already) and wanted to know if they knew anything about it and they just resent the whole order free instead. It was about $50 and arrived around the same time as the original order funny enough. I didn’t really need or want double the amount of parts but it is what it is.
  17. Ordered about 40 1x4x6 clear window panes for my Hall of Armor MOC and a lot of them came scratched up too. Really disappointed. I thought about contacting them but I just put the scratched pieces on the backside of the MOC instead.
  18. The only recolor of a Spider-Man vehicle that has ever made sense or will ever make sense is to recolor this Spider-Buggy into Shocker’s colors and give us the Shocker-Buggy with a classic Shocker!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone who has read The Superior Foes of Spider-Man knows what I’m talking about. Its the perfect meeting ground for TLG, KFOLS, and AFOLS. You have a jarring color scheme, a cool vehicle, and comic accuracy with a classic figure. Shocker-Buggy or go megabluck yourself!!!
  19. I agree 100%. Unfortunately, the closest we’ll probably get to those nowadays is the background of the box art. I like the original Spider-Crawler set better overall because of that cool Vulture and that amazing Sandman. I never built the crawler itself but this one actually looks better and not so much like a hodge-podge of pieces. I kind of wish Venomized Iron Man was a GWP though. And yes, the Buggy does look pretty nice.
  20. Which is weird because in 1414falconfan’s comment section, someone who saw the sets said the sets aren’t MCU based and also said the Avengers tower isn’t dark like the last one and instead is light red and is bigger than the last one.
  21. Yes! Or any kind of Hulkbuster that isn’t 30 feet tall when compared to a Minifgure’s proportions. Hope these sets include some good figures or references. Avengers Tower sounds like it could be interesting. Maybe based on the newer comics and the way it appeared in the Spider-Man PS4 game.
  22. Yeah NYTF is usually the best one to get descriptions and potential pictures even though you’re not supposed to take any. This last DC wave was awful imo except for Mr. Freeze’s head and Catwoman, so I can’t imagine how bad this next wave will be.
  23. I think when all the leaked set names came out there were 2 marvel sets and one of the leakers on IG said it was possible that both were Widow sets but I think he recently said thats not the case. So sadly unless Lego does a Captain Marvel style SDCC thing this year, this is our only set for the movie.
  24. Black Panther’s Jet is one of my all time favorite Marvel sets. Great for play and display; includes a serviceable Jeep side build; and its an easy way to get Winter Soldier, Black Panther, and Cap. I’m sure if Lego had made that, they would have made it orange and stickered his logo and mask all over it. :P
  25. Love it! Love it! Love it! Always wanted a cheap, realistic version of a dual rotor helicopter that wasn't from the City line. Could be used in an Arkham Knight MOC too. Yelena looks good. The torso is good for anyone complaining that IW Widow's torso was too bright. Almost a perfect set if Taskmaster was a little better or if we got Red Guardian in it.
