For anyone who's not happy with MJ's torso in the far from home sets, the new stranger things set has a figure in it (I believe she's called Joyce) with a torso that could work really well for Far From Home's MJ. And Eleven has a torso that could work for Betty Brant (as seen in the far from home trailer) altough she wears some kind of jacket so it's not completely accurate, still with CMF Alice hair you would come pretty far.

Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors & discussion
Huigberts Builds replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
The Beauxbaton uniforms are great for army building. Madam Maxime looks great, although I think I'll add a fur collar to mine. Hagrid looks amazing, very glad to get him, I also love the second build (kinda) for the carriage. The Graveyard looks great as well, really like the new Voldemort face, as well as the new Harry. Peter's face looks amazing, altough I'm not a big fan of his hair (maybe because Just2Good and Ashnflash did such a good job on a custom one). The hair color choice is also a little weird, looks too weasley-ish. The death eater appears to be a non named death eater, he's not really recognisable by the mask since it's a GoF type mask, which were basically all skulls. Although he appears to look the most similar to this one: I doubt it, but I think legoSDR made a good point, if they did it a small underwater task section would make sense, it would make the set more interesting and gives it the opportunity to include Harry. Still I doubt it. -

Aaaannddd that's exactly what we got, couldn't be happier. The second wave this year (if we can call it that) looks even better than the first one of this year. -

I hope we'll get Fleur's Sister and Fleur in the school uniform. Plus Hagrid in a suit. Although it all sounds kinda too good to be true. -
The pack looks pretty good. The torso for Ned indeed looks like the one from the whomping willow set, the one on the other looks like the one from the knight bus. The face looks new, tbh that unknown character almost looks like Peter Parker from this scene: But the hair looks like it's Maria Hill's hair. ANyway happy to see some new spider-man faces in the mcu style, really useful.

Discovering entertainment through LEGO
Huigberts Builds replied to Blondie-Wan's topic in LEGO Licensed
Interesting question, a lot of franchises I like started someway or another with Lego actually, spiderman for example back in the day, way before the mcu started, batman because of the lego game (although I already liked superman), doctor who because I heard the theme song in a video discussing his dimensions appearance (or was it the ideas pack? whichever game first) and I thought something with such a cool theme must be good. I've also gotten into Star Wars starting of with the toys (some if which were lego) my parents and grandparents bought for me, although that's because my father is a fan himself. Can't remember if I first had interest in the Lego Harry Potter sets or the movies, the games maybe even, it's too long ago but it can very well be the case. Than ofcourse there were the Simpsons, I was so impressed by the amazing house build, so I watched the brick like me special and started watching more episodes since (I really didn't like the show when I first saw it like 10 or so years before that, probably because I didn't understand the humor). I probably forgot a lot more, but I can say for sure that me being a fan of many franchises and lego are very much related. (Tbh I might give Stranger Things a shot now as well) -

It's indeed kinda weird, as far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong) we only got rumors so far, no one who actually saw anything. -

Yeah I agree. Last year TRU could still be found in Europe, but it's gone here as well. If they do something it's probably going to be online on their own site or in Lego stores, or at least I hope so, they're the only ones that can be found nearly everywhere. -
[MOC] Harry Potter sail ship alternative build LEGO 75952
Huigberts Builds replied to CoolerTD's topic in LEGO Licensed
Wow, that's impressive. I love alternate builds but usually they don't turn out as good as this because of the limit parts. I'm surprised you can build an entire pirate ship out of this set. Great job, I really like it -

Well don't forget about the simpsons second d2c which had 3 figures from the cmf series and even the first one which reused some torso printing. -

Huigberts Builds replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
I like the cmf series so far, but I'm not sold yet. If McGonagal uses a dress piece (even though Dumbledore Doesn't) en Flitwick is the old movies 1 and 2 variant this advent calendar is officially the best one yet, but if it's not I'm kinda dissapointed, only new torso prints just don't do the trick for me. While chances of a dress McGonagall are kinda low, Flitwick has higher chances since he needs new printing anyway. Since chances for a new beard piece are very low I hope they'll use the Dwalin beard piece in white, and maybe add the series 12 wizard hat in dark green. Probably 50/50 -

Does anyone know if there are any new wand colours in this wave? I'm not sure. Btw are there any new printed pieces that are not related to figures? Everything appears to be stickers. I mean I like the giant brick built figures, but for me they only work because they're supposed to represent a giant version of a character that's normally minifigure sized, doesn't really work for a character like grawp in my eyes. He would also look out of place next to the system sized buildings (is that the right term?) -

I hope so too, but honestly all I want at the moment is the fat lady's portrait, we only got her twice, a yellow version that's outdated from movie 3 and onwards (although I like to get both versions (updated) eventually) and one were the portrait has been damaged by Sirius so she is missing. About the Grawp discussion, let's be real, even in the games he wasn't accurate in size, they used the mountain troll body, which is basically the same size as a modern bigfig. If they'll ever make him they'll probably make him a bigfig this time around (maybe slightly skinnier than regular bigfigs), besides if they made him brickbuild he would likely either become too big in size or he would look to much like some kind of mech because of the technic bricks. Either way he would never look completely right. -

Yeah I meant jaw, sorry xD. Thank you for the information, it's going to be hard to do I see. I'll need to dive a little deeper into bricklink to find something it might connect to. -

Tbh I really like the yule ball hermione, 1 of the better figures of this wave in my opinion. On a side note, do you guys think it's possible to use the old horntail head on the new body? And if so is there a piece or any way to build the yaw? I know the colour is kinda of but that won't bother me too much. -

Wow, didn't expect these sets to be revealed today, let's see where do I start. The Expecto Patronum Set looks very good, Sirius Black grew on me, I also really like the trees, even though they're probably really flat from behind. Best part is obviously the stag, but the 2 dementors are also great for amry building. The first task set looks alright, I like the tent, it's a cute little build. The firebolt looks so good, really clever use of pieces. Fleur's face kinda grew on me, as does Cedric's, but still going to seek a replacement for Krum. The Horntail is sadly very disappointing, I like the printing, but still it doesn't really work for me, the old set was better, I think if you combine the 2 you'll have the perfect first task set. I think I'll try ordering the pieces of the old build online + an extra set of stickers from this one to have the updated school emblems, I might change it a bit to make it look like the thor ragnarok arena build. Hagrid's Hut is amazing, Buckbeak looks even better with the wings and the pumpkins are a nice inclusion. Still kinda surprised it has the second part of the building and can't fold open like the german description mentioned, but this is ofcourse better. The inside of the hut looks so comfy, although I kinda miss the random painting from the previous one. Still it's by far the best version we ever got. The figures are also amazing, really like the new Hermione, Ron and the Minister are looking nice as well. Gonna change the hood piece for Macnair to the old farmer hood piece, otherwise a great figure. Only complains I have are that Fang is missing and that Hagrid is the same one as last year, although it's a great figure, I'm kinda growing tired of this outfit we're getting for almost 20 years now, this was the perfect opportunity to include the one with the (yule ball) suit or even the poa teacher suit (even though we'll get more opportunities for that one). Still a great set, number 2 on my favourite list. The Knight Bus looks really good as well, I was afraid it would look the same as the previous 2 incarnations (which were way too similar) but I actually wanna buy this one. At first it looked kinda strange because I was used to the old design, but it looks way more movie accurate, it even has the all destinations (nothing underwater) sign. The windows are looking kinda tall, but that might just be the angle. The figures are looking great, way better than the previous one. Only thing missing is Dog Sirius. We're also kinda low on owls in this wave, I think I might just purchase the ones from 4842. Also I see Stan is holding a newspaper, I wonder if it's the boy who lived one or a new one with perhaps Sirius? (probably just harry again). That brings me to my favourite set from this wave, the clock tower. The outside looks amazing, it's a worthy successor for the old one. The inside looks alright, some rooms better than others. The Hosptial wing looks amazing, now all we need is Miss Pomfrey. The DATDA classroom looks nice as well, I like the gramophone build (at least that's what I think it is). I kinda wished there was another table for the students, but I can easily change the teachers desk into one since he has the chalkboard already. Only things missing are the skeleton (I think I might build a small skeleton and hang it from the lever for the clock (nice little feature btw)) and the wardrobe (I might just steal the old vanishing cabinet). I kinda wished there was an office, although that might be reserved for Umbridge, if not I will place this build next to the tower from the whomping willow, which house the gryffindor common room at the moment, and turn it into a little office, moving the common room to the tower from the great hall (which I plan to make 1 room taller). The prefect's Bathroom looks nice, although I dislike it's location, I rather have it 1 floor higher. The yule ball looks pretty cute, nothing too special however, I'm happy it's more of a sidebuild and doesn't take up too much of the build, the tables are very usefull and I like the small christmas tree a lot. The entrance hall is quite boring however, just like the random rooms in the great hall, the goblet of fire is also nothing too special, I'm gonna change that room for sure, although I'm not sure into what. I'm thinking about the library, trophy room, or just a real entrance hall with some knight armor. Dumbledore's office looks nice, but it's too small. I'm gonna change the swords location to a shared one with the sorting hat (probably gonna steal the design from the 2010 Hogwarts Castle. The desk looks fine as it is, I like the bookcases as well, although I kinda prefer brickbuild ones, I might just go 50/50 and replace half of them with small brickuild bookcases and/or shelves. Obviously I'm gonna change the pensieve into the cmf one, other than that I want some room for people to stand in his office and a place for fawkes. My only real complaint with the set is the leg of the pendelum, the entrance looks a little bit small altoghether compared to the original one. I hope I can somehow modify it into fitting the pendelum, if any one is able to do it, please let me know xD. All with all a great wave, not as good as the first one, but still amazing. Most of the sets are better than the original sets, and all of them have at least some improvements. Again the best theme of the year in my opinion. -

I agree, the old Luna still holds up pretty well to this day compared to some of the other figures so it comes to good use when making a custom of her 'Gryffindor Lion outfit' still would be nice to get an official variant, always loved the one from the game. Welcome btw, discussing the theme on this forum always makes the wait a little more bearable if you ask me -

That's easy to say if you've just edited all your posts. They look very different now than when I read them yesterday. Cutting out the part where you mentioned the de mentor attack including wolf lupin for example, the explanation you just gave doesn't explain many of the things you got wrong in the original post. I'm not trying to be rude, but please stop trying to fool us. -

True, and let's not forget about the Marvel Hype right now, a Harry Potter reveal would be overshadowed by endgame, waiting is the most logical option. -

Oh yeah, who's brother worked for Lego and knew every single set for the next few years of Harry Potter. Did anyone even fell for that? It contradicted all the information we got by that point. Anyway I'm not really that bordered we didn't get the other leaks, the official reveal is probably less than a month away by now (if not a week) and it would be way better to be surprised with official pictures. This is also why we shouldn't put dates on leaks, same thing happened with (I believe) Marvel about 2 months ago, we can't take them for granted, that's just going to dissapoint us. Also I've finally seen the dementor attack set, it looks gorgeous. Sirious Hair looks somehow different, but it's a weird angle so who knows. -

I know, it was kind of a joke "I'm dying to see pictures so I'm going to need the graveyard set"dying xD About the vehicles being released too quickly, the problem is HP doesn't have that many vehicles neither is it known for them, and the ones they do have mostly appear in the first 3 movies. Ofcourse there's the Hogwarts Express, but that's significant enough to likely get a new version every few years when Lego has gone over all the movies by 2021(ish). I can see them including Hagrids/Sirius Motorbike in a DH Privet Drive set based around the battle of the Harrys. I could even see them including the Dursley Car. Besides that there's also still FB with future movies that could include multiple vehicles, so I think it's almost save to see we won't be out of WW vehicle themed sets any time soon (even if they're 'repeats') -

That sounds pretty big, I wonder if the DATDA classroom has the skeleton. And there's even the pendulum? How is all this going to fit? I really don't know xD. But there's 1 thing I do know: I'm dying for pictures now. The graveyard set will come in handy.
