  1. Absolutely awesome! :classic: You combined two of my big passions: Oldschool videogames and Lego - yeah!
  2. I received my minifigs today, too! Thank you very much, what a great price - and how beautiful your swedish stamps on the envelope are...
  3. I'm still waiting for mine, too. And yes, I am excited! :classic:
  4. Thanks a lot, CopMike and eurobricks!
  5. I also want to congratulate the first winners! And I also want to thank CopMike for organizing this and of course all you guys for all the wonderful and diverse entries, it's such a rich, inspiring and wonderful collection of entries, small ones and big ones, simplistic ones and epic ones. Seriously.
  6. Yeah, it's blocked here in Germany, what a bummer.
  7. So, I'm in, too... Here's some guys happily waiting for the annual arriving of Santa himself! I present you the "Official Santa WELCOMING committee". For a bigger picture go here!
  8. Count me in, too, please.
  9. I know it's hard to believe, but there have been a few raffles which I entered and didn't win in the end... But since this one is Star Wars again, may the luck be with me.
  10. Just bought a ticket, too. I'm glad I still could get one!
  11. please count me in, too.
  12. Please count me in, too.
  13. I thought exactly the same and was just reading through the whole thread, because before posting how much this line reminds me of old MASK toys (well, as far as we can tell from that one picture...), I wanted to make sure that not dozens of other members had written that before. So the credits go to you, zz-80! ;-) Otherwise I want to agree to those who are becoming sick of all the fighting lines LEGO comes up with, including the heavy use of weapons. I'm not generally against weapons in LEGO sets, I just think it gets a little too much and too strong lately. And by the way: Same goes for all the vehicles included in sets, for example the tons of vehicles in the Batman line. Personally I find that boring, but as we know by now, internal studies have shown that kids go for the sets with lots of vehicles. So that's an obvious choice for LEGO.
  14. By the way: Are the two signatures on the certificates that contain the series numbers printed - or are they written manually for every certificate? And the other thread about our members' model-numbers tells that the first edition has eventually at least about 15000 units - if not more... *wacko*
  15. Hey there, I'm sorry if this has already been discussed maybe. I just couldn't find any information about exact number of units produced for the "limited" first edition. Are these are still being produced? When will the first deition be sold out or are they already in some stores? It'd be nice if you helped me with some info on this... :-) By the way: That baby's just great. I've never seen such a thick instructions manual for Lego. Well, there probably just isn't a second one like that existing.
  16. Not only do some parts of this beautiful set remind many of us of "back to the future" - The Lego Company itself also must have found a way to travel in time!!! That's what they needed our money for! Or how else can it be explained that we see a picture in October 2007 showing a man playing with the set in 2008? *wacko* ;-)
  17. Hmmm... I was thinking about this, too. It would be unfair, if there weren't golden ones in any Falcons, just because of the logic, that people able to afford such an expensive set would get one anyway... I do not think that TLC's logic works like that. But then again I'm not in the position to complain, I guess... There's only a few weeks until I get my hands on that baby! *wub* Contest on!
  18. Happy birthday from here, too. Late as usual... :-$
  19. I just visited his beautiful and informative website a few days ago and was really interested in reading more of his intelligent thoughts about TLC's history soon. And now he's passed away - it reminds me of how limited our time can be... I did not know him, but I think all AFOL's thoughts and best wishes are with his friends and family now. He left great sets for which he will be remembered. Rest in peace.
  20. I also imported a few things before, too. Most of them from the United states, some from Japan. I always had to show the custom-people my ebay account or a notification of the site whereever I bought the items - and that's it. I think it all depends on where exactly you live. I just don't think that it's fair to pay a lot of money for something I already have won... X-O

    POLL V The III

    I like this one.
  22. @copmike: Ooops! How could I miss that...? :-$
  23. I'm surprised noone started a poll on this yet! Our community is well known for these... ;-) EDIT: See what I'm talking about? Crazy stuff someone came up with at the same time that I was writing this posting.
  24. I really think some of you guys sometimes are a little too harsh: Why do you threaten morris? I don't know him, so I'm not defending a friend or something similar - I just sense a tense atmosphere around here sometimes. As far as I'm concerned (and I never had trouble with anyone in here and I'm happy about that), morris only wanted to cheer everyone up, being optimistic about the chance of being able to buy a C3PO for a fair price. What's wrong about that? He didn't say anything rude, as he mentioned himself. So, let's all try keep the tone friendly in here. Peacemaker rexcal ;-)
