Yep price is another factor to affect interest in merchandise. That AT-HS had nice idea for its locomotion but walker's design itself is far less striking than the other menacing-looking, top heavy, walkers on skinny legs. It also hurts that the walker did not appear in the movie but in a different application. I guess BB-8 controlling the FO AT-ST was a cool scene but the set focused too much walker and the fact of it missing its head. It would have been nice if they included more structures to represent the scenery and miniaturize the walker to the scale of the AT-ST in 8038, with a removable head. Maybe then its price could be justified.

These films have more than enough material to make into sets, but I do believe the sinking interest in TROS will affect the span of the product line. (Han Alone is a good example of this). Another factor to take into account is the design process of sets. Even with the wealth of material to work from, some designs may sound good on paper but work out poorly or too complicated as a LEGO toy.

STAR WARS Episode The Fanbase Divided These are politically sensitive times. What once brought people together now divides as sides are taken and beliefs come into view. Meanwhile, the brand struggles to attract new fans against a world of marketable super heroes and the addiction known as Fortnite! Now, its only hope is to increase engagement with its vast universe and save its surviving fanbase. Or become a relic from a long time ago, fallen from its prime, far, far away…

Enjoyed the review I’m surprised to how simple the assembly is; there’s no Technic pieces within its structure! I thought once finished, it could virtually be tossed as a basketball! Though, there may not be a huge concern of it falling and disintegrating over the floor because it has a large footprint... I like the simple mechanism for the trash compactor (though incorrect), I could maybe use that technique for the blast doors of a LAAT I want to make. The Slave 1 is massive! It makes me wonder if it’s truly minifigure scale as many say?

Nice use of the aircraft bottom!

Hoth Echo Base Medical Bay with Corridor MOC

Yep, looks nice—fits in well with the rest of the build. -
@Arkeeos Another question, did you intend to color the edges of the underside red also? From the reference photos it looks all gray except for that area you have yet to fill in (if you have not already)?

Looks cool! Is the design of the Star Destroyer your own or is it inspired from a previous creation with some creative liberties added?

@ShaydDeGrai The designer video somewhat shows how the panels connect—rather loosely in my opinion (see at 1:40). -
Nice abstract idea of what a full size hanger would look like! The TIE is cool in a way that it looks like a scaled down version of the UCS set!

Yeah, since I'm still more fond of how LDD functions, importing to Studio helps a ton. The worst of it maybe is that studio sometimes does not properly arrange various parts on the scene. Anyway, glad it worked out well

No, I'd buy a set based on its design. Solo reeked and the fact that its reception hurt our chances to have more anthology films is awful, but the TIE released for the film looked fun to build. Rogue One was fun but its sets were criminally lackluster or too few in quantity. The new trilogy and its designs hardly interest me. The recent X-Wing set has a nice mechanism to actuate the sfoils…

Not all LDD part numbers correspond with Bricklink's database, so you could import the file into STUDIO (it's better at handling the disparities), sign-in, highlight the "Model" drop-menu, select model info, and you will find the option to create a wanted list from the parts.

@Gray_Mouser Whoah, the redesigned cockpit looks most impressive! The greebling is also better, more intricate in appearance. Medium blue is definitely more subdued than what the render shows so I think it would look fine in real brick.
-
@Gray_Mouser You could try medium blue, or go for the Red Jammer color scheme:
-
The jumpers do appear sand blue, but specifically in the variation without the groove (3794a). It looks like your reversed-engineer creation uses a variation with groove. @K_W It's a wheel accessory (18979a)

Neat work! Gun metal ingots compliment the vehicle nicely! On a similar note, I think the LBG tiles along the sides would look better in DBG What does the underside look like?

I think you should build out the rest! Seriously, you did a great job; it looks visually interesting at first glance! Taking another look though, some areas do appear, well to be blunt, dull . The tubing on the side looks basic with the repetitive use of that "L" bar element, and it somewhat seems too spaced away from the surface of the hull, though I understand the limitations of what you can do about those matters. Though basic is better than uber-complicated, delicate details made with illegal techniques IMHO. Some color variation like DBG to lessen the monotony of LBG would look nice, but that's me thinking as a LEGO designer would. The unfixed hinge parts making up the window poke at my pedantic personality, but that's my OCPD! Neat of you to include your signature -

My mistake, but I meant adjacent to the outward side of the two corner tiles. It would require removing the 2 x 4 wedge plate (51739) then replacing it with a 2 x 2 corner plate and 1 x 2 plate. -

@Wurger49 No big. Anyway, nice use of the angled "L" tile, it looks much better. Now, I wonder if it would look any better if you add the 2 x 2 triangular tile (35787) beside it? -
Is this the very one you started back in 2015?
