SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Sign Ups!
mediumsnowman replied to mediumsnowman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Keep the sign-ups coming! For only a few hours after posting, we have a pretty good turnout! As a general note, if anybody has a better idea for a name than "SHIELD vs. HYDRA" please let me know. It's kind of unoriginal. -

Sure. I don't think you'll take anyone's place though, all the recent games have had problems filling all their slots. -

A month and a half is probably a safe bet. It really depends on how many people sign up. You should be fine. -

Sign ups are now open! -
It's happening! To sign up, please answer the following questions: 1) Have you played a Mafia game on Eurobricks before? If not, what steps have you taken to make sure you understand the game? 2) Will you be able to actively participate over the next 1-2 months or however long this mess goes on? 3) What is your favorite MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) film? Few notes: I'm super excited to be hosting! I've made up some great characters and my set turned out better than I expected! Come sign up! It'll be fun! Standard rules will apply, mandatory voting and all that. You can see the full rules when I post the C&D thread. Not much has changed. Don't worry. I'm looking for 21 players but I have setups prepared for 17 and 19 players, in case we don't get that many. I hope we don't have to use those.

Hmm, this is interesting. Certainly unexpected. A Disney castle seems like the most reasonable choice, but Lego has surprised us before. I'll be watching this thread with interest.

Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
mediumsnowman replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Maleficent, Ursula, Mickey, Mr. Incredible, Syndrome, and Aladdin look great! The rest are 'meh' The re-release of Buzz and the Alien is disappointing. I'll need multiples of Mr. Incredible to make the whole family. The next series needs an Edna Mode figure!- 4,155 replies

Nice build! I really like the wall texture created by the 1x2 grills. Sorry I couldn't finish up my part this week... I just ran out of time. I suppose when I post this week it'll be like some sort of flashback.

That's why I said hopefully... And I'd already said what the theme was in my original post, so I'm not really giving anything away. -

Would it be wise to play a few more games before hosting? I've played 4 and the requirement is 3, but I can see why it would be better to have plenty of experience first. I've had a SHIELD vs. HYDRA game in early development since I started playing here (I needed to play more games before anything could happen with it) but if I'm allowed to I suppose I could expedite that process. -

Even if you are familiar with SpongeBob, that minifigure is still creepy.

[MOC] Incom T-70 X-wing fighter from Ep VII
mediumsnowman replied to Kenneth-DK's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's really cool, I like how you did the split wings at this scale. I wish there was some way to get rid of that gap caused by the hinge plates though, and the nose seems a bit blunt. Overall, it's pretty good though! -
Apparently you can rid your body of toxins and bacteria by... consuming todays fad diets? That's actually what it said. In that exact wording. Who writes this stuff anyways?

I like the brick-built regulator better, but honestly the stickers look better for the rest of it. -
Kingdoms Mafia - Conclusion
mediumsnowman replied to Dragonfire's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Great game, thanks for hosting Dragonfire! Town was at a big disadvantage right out of the gate, losing 2/3 of our power roles on Day 1 before they even got a chance to use their action! Still, the scum played admirably. I suspected Rath from the beginning (though that's easy to say now ) but MT I had as "least likely to be scum" of the remaining five. Great job.
