    That certainly is a very interesting piece indeed. After seeing the new set I am slightly hopeful that we are finally getting a DD figure. Honestly I'd even be happy if we got one with regularly printed on horns given that his design from Marvel Superheroes 1 looked good enough for me. Utilizing the new Black Panther piece for horns could potentially be even better. Like you say the horns on this new piece might be slightly too big for DD but there is certainly potential.

    Well to be fair the Venom "mech" isn't really a mech. Its more like Venom in big symbiote form and as such it is more appealing. I agree that the Spider-Mech is a bit odd but for play purposes I do understand why they included it.

    They won't, certainly not if the sets are based upon the MCU movie those sets are always kept under tight wraps until close to the films release. Also does anyone know when Lego will be displaying their new comic-con sets? Like from which day?

    Well this is definitely a very nice suprise! While I would have preferred us getting a set based on a certain devil I must say that this set looks pretty good! The new Spider-Man figure is fantastic sadly Spider-Gwen is one of those figures that really needs leg printing and it decreases the figures appeal slightly but nonetheless it is a new character. Venom looks extremely great, much better then his previous incarnation and the venom "mech" looks stunning.

    Thank god I was wrong about Deathstroke being the exclusive figure. This is a figure I can easily do without just like the Marvel one.

    I am with you 100%. The MCU is great but there is so much potential if Lego would choose do to comic based sets. To make matters worse they show of some great looking figures in their video-games that we are unlikely to get anytime soon if it all due to the MCU taking up all the space.

    Usually they are a lot cheaper immediately after the con, I have seen figures go for like 200. Not exactly cheap but a lot better then 1000 haha.

    True but if you don't mind buying custom figures there are a lot of Deadpool variations out there and I have no doubt that someone will copy this figure as well relatively soon.

    Sure seems like Deadpool is the to go to character for Lego at SDCC... well I for one am very glad with this figure mainly because I won't mind not being able to get it ;)

    There has been a bit of speculation but I do not believe we have a confirmed answer for that as of yet.

    If I were a betting man I'd place my money on the exclusive figure being Rebirth Deathstroke based on his look in the upcoming DC Villains game. That figure looks way too good and detailed to be put into a set (if they follow the same release trend) and the design is too elaborate to have just been done for the game itself. Add to that his growing popularity and you've got an obvious choice in my opinion... though I really hope that I am wrong as I love how he looks.

    So as expected we are getting another exclusive figure.... I wonder who it might be, for DC I have some ideas but with Marvel not so much. As long as it isn't Daredevil or Baron Zemo I'll probably be fine with it.

    I don't mind either but in the past mods have expressed that they prefer to be the ones that create new threads regarding next years sets. I just want to make sure that they approve this thread before everything that we write down here gets wiped by a new thread.

    Shouldn't we wait on mods to make the new thread? I believe they usually want to be the ones to make it so that they can alter the first page when new information/images get released.

    Thank god a Percival Graves figure!!! I loved his design in dimensions and am very happy I'll be able to have one in hand as well :) Edit: And new posable short legs, new suitcase molds.... wow this line is definitely a minifigure revolution, I love it!

    I agree 100%. I loved the comic based Spider-Man sets and we still need Electro, Rhino etc. in their classic comic look + I need a Daredevil figure, especially with him being teased in the infinity war set...

    Nope and given that the 2019 sets are expected to be based solely on the MCU I expect it to stay that way for quite a while... unless Lego decides to unexpectedly surprise us with a comic based set.

    But since that helmet already exists why would you be disappointed if you get one more variant? I would say the more choice the better ;)

    I think it is way too early to say that there will not be any exclusive minifigures this year. Every year there are some sort of exclusive comic-con sets and also exclusive minifigures, I don't see why that shouldn't be the case this year. The figures also never get leaked early I believe and are only announced a day or so before the con starts.

    Given that there is also a hashtag LegoIdeas I do not believe this is anything official but rather a fan creation. The figures also look distinctively unlike real Lego.
