Thanks for the elaborate explanation! Captain Obvious Alert: I think it's just an enormous shame. Overall, DC has SO much potential. I think of plenty of sets they can make and new minifigures and varieties based on different outfits they can produce... Oh well Regards, Mitch

Hmm, alright. Alright, noted. It's just... I remember people saying kids like things with bright colors and such, so superhero minifigures in general seemed like a good thing for that. I take it that notion (kids liking bright colors) is not the case anymore, or not nearly enough anymore? And regarding LEGO's choices, could it be said they created their own sort of vicious circle by choosing only Batman related minifigures and sets? My point being, if LEGO would've kept making general DC sets with lots of superheroes and their sidekicks and villains and whatnot, regardless of movie popularity et cetera, would the decay of interest in DC LEGO not have gone this fast? Or am I missing a lot of points here? Regards, Mitch

Probably because it's too many wanted characters in one small set. Well, maybe if they made a villain counterpart BP with, say, Atrocitus, Reverse Flash, Ares and Orm or someone. Regards, Mitch

Gimme them! They look really great Good thing you brought up scale, I keep forgetting there's a tremendous size difference between Enterprise, A and then D and so on. So having the original Enterprises the same sizes as the Enterprise-D would be quite inaccurate and, to a true fan to pays attention to this, would look very weird. For me, I don't think that will be such a problem though Regards, Mitch

Based what I frequently encounter myself on social media, I'd say this is very accurate. Though there does seem to be a decent group of ST: Enterprise lovers that somehow claim it's the best of all series. I tried to watch a few episodes once but I just couldn't get gripped by it. Same with DS9 for me personally. Also has a large fan base, but I wasn't hooked. For me it's TOS and TNG with Voyager a distant third. And, to be honest, I like the TOS and TNG movies better than most episodes of their respective series I have to say, though, I've grown quite fond of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, depicting the Enterprise under the command of Christopher Pike, with a few recurring appearances of Paul Wesley as Lt./Cpt. James T. Kirk I agree that midiscale ships would be great, but somehow I also very much love the idea of a large NCC-1701(-A) hanging from my ceiling Regards, Mitch

Ooohh, that makes sense I see, now, thanks Regards, Mitch

Oh moving on What? I thought I read somewhere that it wasn't gonna be a Marvel D2C... I have got to start waiting for more conformation Regards, Mitch

LEGO Pokémon 2026 - Rumours & Discussion
CF Mitch replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in LEGO Licensed
Finally they're revealed! As most of you say, Pikachu lookks off. I do like the general look of the set, with Pika coming out of the pokéball. Eevee definitely looks better, I miiigght get them. Then there's the starter evolutions I actually think they're done very nice, but still not worth that amount of money... I think The GWP and insider sets are also nicely done Regards, Mitch -
Who? What I also wanted to ask... has there been anymore substance to the rumor of the D2C being the Daily Planet? Regards, Mitch
-
Of course not, he's the coolest Batman villain! Well, aside from Mr. Freeze maybe, I assume this movie will also produce LEGO sets? Regards, Mitch

[REVIEW] 60470 Explorers' Arctic Polar Express Train
CF Mitch replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Agreed! For years I've stuck to Star Wars, Marvel, DC and Super Mario, but the Arctic and Space City-subthemes have become more and more tempting. Thanks for the great review, it was very clear and the pictures are perfect! Regards, Mitch -
Wasn't it Data playing poker with all the scientists? I remember a hairless bald piece, too.. I think it was Egg-man from the DC Superheroes line? From what I can tell, the haired bald piece definitely doesn't look too bad, I might get it too Regards, Mitch
-
Data as Sherlock Holmes, William T. 'Ensign Babyface' Riker from the first season and Picard as Locutus. @MKJoshA Ha, nice Regards, Mitch
-
Agreed. I get Troi's outfit somewhat, but I never understood why Wesley's sweater is so iconic/popular. Oh right, of course, thanks! Regards, Mitch
-
Oh man, definitely gonna buy this set! The Enterprise looks great after all, but the minifigs are definitely the highlight for me! Those accessories are absolutely brilliant What's Worf holding, though? Is that a phaser? Regards, Mitch

What? Let's not exaggerate. Or speak for others... I'm excited for the game. Not as much as I would be if it was a general DCverse setting and I think it really sucks it isn't, but I think this game will be fun in its own right. Regards, Mitch

Ehm... hello, The title kinda says it all. Due to many, rather severe health issues, I am currently not sure how much longer I have to live. Admittedly, it might still be years, but even then, the matter still stands. When it happens, I want my LEGO to go to a good place. As such, I thought it would be best to seek out someone on EB with a passion for LEGO who will know how to look after it and not sell it further for a high(er) price. I am not sure yet what would be the best way to handle things, if I find someone 'suitable' interested, but I know I want everything to be as little a burden on my parents as possible. Therefore, this is what I have thought of so far (if anyone has suggestions for more efficiency, please let me know): - the persons should preferably be from The Hague or its near vicinity, unless they themselves don't mind traveling a bit further. This is because I would like the person to come pick up the LEGO at my home. This is again to cause less burden for my parents and partially because I don't really trust shipping companies for things like this. - at first I thought I'd sell everything to one person, but that's probably not very realistic and why shouldn't several people have a part of it... so, that. - my thinking was that whoever is interested and doesn't mind my terms will come over some day to check things out and we'll arrange a price. I'm not looking for a lot of money. I just want my LEGO to be gone when I am and receive a decent price for it, 'cause, even though it's all used and everything, it's still worth quite a bit in some cases. If there's already anything I have forgotten, that's cause my mind a bit of a mess with everything going on. Please ask further questions if you have any. Also not unimportant, here's very roughly what I have to offer: > Star Wars: a lot of it from 1999 to 2025, mainly PT I think, a bit of TCW and some OT as well but that's from the later years, around 2015-ish? (off the top of my head). Also, sets from The Mandalorian > Marvel: 2012 up to 2025, getting less with the increasing years. From 2023 to now I only have the Avengers Quinjet, Avengers Tower, X-Jet, X-Mansion and F4 vs. Galactus > Batman/DC: Nothing on display at the moment (or for years) but I had a few of the solo Batman sets from the earlier years and some of the better, later DC sets which features other heroes such as Green Lantern, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman and Superman. > Transformers: Bumblebee & Soundwave > Animal Crossing: 77051: Fly With Dodo Airlines > City/Town/World City: Several things from this name-changing theme, spread over many years. I have a police station from 2016 I believe and a hospital from that same era. That's all I can tell you with certainty, for the moment everything is in boxes in a storage facility. > Harry Potter: A lot of the sets from the original line that started in 2001. A Burrow from many years later and... perhaps some more That's all I can come up with right now. As you can probably tell, I started this message on a bit of a whim, apologies if inappropriate or improper. Also, Mods, if this topic doesn't belong here (or EB at all), please contact me. A good day to you all. Regards, Mitch

Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
CF Mitch replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
The BTAS Batmobile has stud shooters as well, which I believe also looks odd, but there we are... Luckily they easily removable without ruining the actual look of the car. Maybe that will also be the case with Ghost Rider's bike? Regards, Mitch -
LEGO Videogame Tie-Ins - Rumors & Discussion
CF Mitch replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well, I got the Gameboy recently and just finished building it and OH MY GOD! It's genius, I absolutely love it The building techniques are fantastic. Very counter-intuitive if you ask me but they get perfect results. The ultimate build incredibly accurate and I love how they made they game screens move. And then there's the nostalgia factor of course, which is through the roof for me. I never played Legend of Zelda games until very recently but the Super Mario Land game is the first one I played on the Gameboy. The gamecard is perfect as its game screen. Both gamecards also look very alike the real thing. I think this might be my favorite set, at least for this year Regards, Mitch -
LEGO Pokémon 2026 - Rumours & Discussion
CF Mitch replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in LEGO Licensed
That... is not a great Pikachu. At all. Oh, well. Hopefully the starters will be better, but I probably won't be buying anything from LEGO Pokémon anyway... Regards, Mitch -
Absolutely genius! Fantastic build! Regards, Mitch

Guess we'll just have to wait and see. Not that promo pics tend to make things look better than they are... Wow, I'm becoming cynical and I'm not even 40 Regards, Mitch

LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!
CF Mitch replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Just saw the trailer! Gotta say, I quite like it. Lots of action and explosions and stuff, and Grogu seems to be stealing the show with his adorableness and humor again, I believe. He also seems to be a lot more motionable? What's the right word here? Anyway, I love it. I think I'll already see the movie just because of Grogu Regards, Mitch -
Yeah, you're probably right. I'm so impatient Regards, Mitch
