What's this rumor of a lego batman art set for 2022 that I saw on instgram?? Anyone else here about this?

They have the material for 3 solid, well known films! Surprises me as well, that they don't do more with Joker!

Marvel movies are in a good place atm, and have been for a while. DC has films getting released for the kiddies in the next year or two, so hopefully Lego releases some sets! (Aquaman 2, Shazam 2, Black Adam, Blue Beattle) DC is still getting sets on the bright side.

1 year today until The Batman is released in cinemas! I just wonder if the 3 sets will be released this year or early next year! The Batman is coming! I keep saying micro cave and Wayne manor!

This was selling very well early on! There is always left over minifigs around the world! But hey, I guess its not Marvel!

I'm still under the impression that this will be a one off anniversary wave! Need to wait for the images official release date to make my decisions on buying these sets! I believe the current Hogwarts modular sets, will continue and expect another connection set later in the year, if not 2!

very hard set to get of late! I would say due to the pandemic, production is slow! In Australia its been temporary out of stock for the last 4 months!

Unless you know the Finance guy or someone working in that team, you will never know how much it sales! You just have to sit back here and read the comments on what's still on the shelf and what's on discount! What I can say is that the D2C last 2 years have sold extremely well!, and someone mentioned before that a new animated series could be in the works of the classic show, which could be a new stepping stone in s new sets (my theory only) Regardless, Lego will never get rid of Batman, half oh households around the world know the name Batman, if not more! that's why I said next 10 years!

Yes, its a great set! You might get it under the normal retail price! Great minifigs vehicles, and unique Batcave build! Yes, but Lego does advertise 'Adults welcome, 18 plus range', (war machine as ZS is calling it) but it would make more sense to release it under the DKR banner! That minifig selection would be nice! If DC where to release PG 13 comedy comic movies we might get it earlier! Maybe one day done the track, but I see it most likely under the Batman banner and having at least one bat vehicle (which I honestly don't mind) I managed to snag a few sets under that theme (nearly sent me broke). I'm still hopeful we get a LBM2 in the next 10 years! The movie did make money!

I like the idea of these anniversary sets been a new way to collect a modular Hogwarts build. I do however prefer the current modular style build they have going on, seems like much more detail in these sets. I am very hopeful that the we still do get another extension sometime this year.

If you guys read previous comments on this thread, you will see the CMF DC series sold well. You're comments are the only duds here mate! There was talk on the thread a while back, that we might see something in 2022, due to Lego's release planning activities. But I guess Marvel is getting all the attention now!

If we look at the different sub-themes we have in the Batman line: The Comic Book Logo - majority of sets (maybe the rumoured Logo set cross between art and technic will get this design) The 89 Series - currently at 3 (hoping the bust is 89 and the big set, at the end of the year is a micro scale version of the bat cave and Wayne manor) The Dark Knight Trilogy - about 7 sets (many more sets can be released here) The 66 Series - 1 and potentially another 4plus (if so, will it have the 66 logo on the packaging) (hoping for new versions of the figures) The Arkham series - 1 x set (so much more potentially through out the games, with set location, character designs and bat-vehicles)

I would think we sound get some sort of regular Batman comic wave for the 2nd half of this year. The Batman movie sets should push into early 2022.

Ahh, first post for 2021! HNY all! Read some laughable posts already so early in the year! With the 89 themed sets selling so well, and the almost confirmed news the Michael Keaton will be reprising his roll of Batman in a mentor roll throughout numerous films, I would love for Lego to take advantage of this! As for the first half of the year, at least we getting something, better then nothing! There must be some run of sets in the 2nd half of the year! I'm hoping the D2C is DC related, even though the odds are against DC! My spending last year was diverted to hidden side and creator 3 in 1, solely for Batman themed background sets! We still getting some sets first half of rhe year, the bust should be interesting and the Bat Logo, I'm curious on that one, would love a 3 in 1 style set where you have the option to build 3 different Bat Logos!

The idea id fitting the garden between the other modular buildings is brilliant.

Regarding the D2C set for nextyear, I see Brickset has the set number listed under Marvel, is there any concrete info on this? I see the Batwing is doing extremely well!

If its not a Batman Portrait, unfortunately it dies not even it out, this logo has me curious. If its Marvel, hopeful of a spideman play set as mentioned before, this is the best time, when you don't know which theme or what it is!

I would love for it to be a spiderman playset if Lego decides to do Marvel. A new york building modular type set with a damaged road and wrecked cars with villains and hero's. With the capability of spiderman swinging from one side to the other.
