Unlike the first two series, nothing about series 3 jumps out and says "BUY ME!" The only one that really interests me is the gorilla. I'll wait to say for sure though, since these are just preliminary images. -VenVoi

Wow, this line looks impressive! It takes me back to the old Adventurers line while still being fresh and new. My only complaint is that so far, the mummies look way too similar to the one I got from the old Studios line, but there's enough diversity here for that to be considered a minor flaw. -VenVoi

I wish this set would've been out when I was collecting the old Harry Potter line; it's amazing! For the amount of detail in the set, I'd say the price is pretty reasonable.

I haven't been collecting the Star Wars lines since they started using flesh-colored heads, but these 3-packs look too good to pass up on them all together. Hopefully these see a US release at a decent price; I'd like to get the Wampa Cave one. -VenVoi

Thor Lund, it sounds like that cashier had some skill! Also, I called TRU today and the girl said that she'd set out what they had left in the back. I wasn't expecting much, but there were two full boxes on the shelf when I went in! I got the last 7 minifigs I wanted and only messed up on the bar codes once. I got the: -Spartan -Vampire -Witch -Disco Stu -Weight Lifter -Ringmaster -Skiier -and a dupe Karate Master(his and the Skiier's bar codes are really close, especially when squinting at them on a phone) Overall, I really like this series. I got 10/16, but I don't care for the rest. -VenVoi

Thanks for the welcomes, guys! It's good to know there's other people that share my interests here. And Penguin, I've been keeping up with your recent Batman MOCs and I must say, Arkham Asylum is my favorite for obvious reasons.

The closest I've come to seeing either series around here in the middle of nowhere(VA, USA) was an empty series 2 box at Target a couple weeks ago. I have managed to order my two favorites(the Clown and the Mime) off of eBay for decent prices at $10 and $5 respectively. I've also received three random ones from each series from Lego: -Zombie -two Robots(I'm displaying one with the helmet, one without) -Mariachi Man -Karate Master -a second Mime(great for Joker henchmen, should I ever finally get him ) A pretty good assortment, especially since they were random. Though I'm still frustrated with how they're being distributed. My local TRU apparently has a box in stock, so I might pick up a few more of my favorites if they ever decide to set it out. They're kinda slow at stocking stuff here.. -VenVoi

Hi all. I'm not good with introductions, so bear with me. I've been creeping these forums for a while now(particularly the Licensed subforum and the Collectible Minifigs Discussion), but I just got the courage to join. I'm supposed to say something about myself, so I'll just vomit out whatever comes to mind... I'm from the US. I enjoy collecting minifigures and small sets from almost any theme(my computer desk is covered with them, a Series 1 Clown being my most prized possession) along with Star Wars. I'm not ashamed to admit that I used Hero Factory as an excuse to stop buying buildible figures. They take up a lot of space in a small house. I was(and still am) quite the avid Bionicle fan though. Voice acting and imitations are my passion. I hope to actually be a voice actor some day, but we all know how showbiz goes.. I'm obsessed with The Joker and the Batman franchise in general. I'm a Star Wars nerd. It's a trap. My drawing skills are slightly above stick figures. I'm constantly kicking myself for not being into Batman back in 2006-2008 when the Lego line was out and before eBay scalpers got to it. That about sums me up. I'll try to be as active as possible in this community, though I tend to be soft-spoken, even online. Regardless, this looks like a great community and I look forward to being part of it! -VenVoi
