  1. If you look a tad closer it's actually just the new Batwing flying close to the water. Also, I'm wondering if the speedboat was just invented for the short like some of the vehicles in the last video game. It seems like a slightly random choice of second vehicle for Joker, but only time will tell.
  2. This is an awesome MOC! I love the amount of detail and the narrative layout. Also, your choice to use the rock monster as Clayface is just perfect!
  3. I believe this is my favorite entry thus far!...not that I'm biased or anything.. I will agree that the Jack in the Box is the centerpiece of this MOC! But as others have said, I also love the architecture of the bank. Very well done!
  4. I agree. It seems like they could just make a question mark piece that could snap onto the top of his can and double as a Riddler trophy/decorative piece. Maybe when we see the finalized version of whatever set he's in. Speaking of seeing finalized sets, it's beginning to get annoying how secretive Lego is being with this line. The pics we got today are a nice "leak," but finalized hi-res images and solid release dates would be nice. Maybe someday soon.
  5. I wonder if the missing 6859 and 6861 sets are the rumored Harley Quinn & Riddler/Green Lantern sets we've been speculating about. Also, has anyone tried e-mailing Lego about when the DC wave is "officially" scheduled to come out around the world (specifically the US)?
  6. I agree! I might be in the minority here, but I'm definitely not a huge fan of the overly-stylized, retro-inspired Batman sets we're getting, especially with respect to Two-Face. I'm just grateful that they haven't screwed up The Joker..at least from what I can tell..
  7. I'm so glad to finally see a "real" pic of the Batcave! I can't say I'm a fan of the over-exaggerated colors and chunky structure, but I'm sure it'll grow on me once we [hopefully] see the real thing tomorrow! :D
  8. I just noticed something particularly saddening- the author of the BrickHeroes blog stated that this line is slated for launch in May 2012, not winter 2012 as we've been told. Is this a mixup on the part of the author or is this line getting pushed back? I seriously hope it's a typo
  9. They were on the list of initial minifigures slated for release with this line, but unless they show up they might've gotten pushed to a later wave, sadly. :/
  10. They're all here: http://www.brickheroes.com/ I can't say I'm horribly impressed, but I'll be getting them all regardless. I'm still kicking myself for missing the first Batman line, so I'm just glad to have actual sets to purchase. My only major gripes are that I really wish they'd go with a less flamboyant Two-Face, and that I'd still like to see pictures of the Riddler and Harley Quinn minifigs. But hopefully time will change that.
  11. I found simply removing the robe from the Minifig and folding firmly along the creases helped mine. It's still not perfectly flat, but it's much better than it was before: Series 5 finally hit VA a couple days ago! I managed to catch a new box being opened and got my first complete series of figures. I just couldn't find myself not wanting any of these like I have some of the previous Minifigs. Also, can anyone else see the Clown's bowler being used on the upcoming Riddler Minifig in dark grey/green with a question mark on it? It seems like a perfecr fit!
  12. No clue, but for a slight update, I wouldn't take her word too heavily. She tried to tell me the Bowser K'Nex set I was looking for was with the random Mario display in electronics, when it clearly wasn't there. I ended up finding it on the normal K'Nex aisle. I think she was pretty new and slightly confused, so I'm just gonna assume she meant two boxes of Series 5 are on their way.
  13. I got an associate to check the Series 5 UPC at my local TRU today. She said their computer lists 140 minifigures on the way. The hunt begins!
  14. I'm extremely excited for both of these lines despite the fact that I'm mainly a DC fan. This is just amazning news! I especially can't wait for the return on the Batman line. On a random note, I made this wallpaper in anticipation of the line. I figured I'd share it in case anyone else wants to use it. Enjoy! http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/284269_10150320918291255_670766254_9355040_959039_n.jpg
  15. Picked up the Alien Striker yesterday. For $5, it's an excellent buy. The alien's head reminds me of a Goomba; I foresee some Mario scenes. And the ADU soldier gives off a large Halo vibe. Very nice minifigs for the price!
  16. I was pleasantly surprised to find FOUR boxes of Series 4 (I see what they did there) at my TRU today, two partials and two sealed! I was able to fish out the Hazmat, Gnome, Musketeer, and Scientist I'd been hunting for. I've now found all of my favorites from this series; bring on Series 5! :D
  17. Finally managed to find a box(that was only a third full ) of Series 4 by chance at my TRU here in VA. Luckily out of the handfull that were left I managed to get my four favorites (punk rocker, artist, the monster, and geisha girl) and I also grabbed a werewolf, sailor, and skater out of what was left while they were on "sale" ($2.69 rather than $2.99 for today only, apparently). The only others that were left were several ice skaters, soccer players, and a surfer girl. I consider myself pretty lucky due to how ravaged the box was. I still wanna find a hazmat guy, garden gnome, and mad scientist someday though. But I'm more than satisfied for now!
  18. Exactly! Though I usually just have a few favorites so the limit isn't really a problem, it's just the challenge of actually finding them. Mine tends to get two boxes per shipment, btw. Also, called this morning with the UPC. They're still out, but "apparently" they've ordered more. The hunt resumes!
  19. Checked on Series 4 at my TRU today. Apparently "two collectors bought a box each," according to an employee. Kinda frustrating as my TRU only ever seems to get one shipment of each series.
  20. You guys who are always swimming in CMF's are really lucky. I've only seen Series 3 once at each of my TRU's and I check them fairly often. Living in a rural area has its disadvantages.
  21. I'm guessing it'll just be random pieces of all the minifigs. Wouldn't it substantially lower the value of the rarer first series (for those who invested largely in them) if even one of the minifigs was made widely available?
  22. Oh jeez, I completely missed the title requirement when I read this the first time! Edited one into my post in the other thread.
  23. Four members of Batman's Rogues Gallery...and a dusty computer desk. title: The Freakish Four EDIT: Added a title.
  24. Batman all the way! I'm honestly surpised to see Indiana Jones has so many votes.
  25. Personally, I love both lines, but if I had to choose it'd be Batman, hands down! Well done, Penguin. With any luck we'll have Bats back in our hair soon enough!
