  1. The only Toa I'd change the color scheme of is Pohatu. I'm not too fond of the trans. neon green (at least it's not trans. yellow , so that's something) and the amount of silver on him. I like the dark orange, though. It's a nicer and more vibrant alternative to reddish brown. As far as the 'Metru' colors go, they would suit villains a lot better than the Toa, in my opinion. Anyway, did someone mention Makuta in his Mask Maker form? I made a MOC of him some time ago.
  2. Is 'uniter' even a word? 'Unifier' seems more plausible. EDIT: Nevermind, I've just checked 'uniter' in a dictionary.
  3. I'd like the Mask of Fire to get a major redesign in the future because I find the one we got this year extremely ugly-looking.
  4. Personally, I'm not a fan of transparent pieces. They're hard to photograph and make the transparent eyes stand out less. Kaukau Mata is still my second favorite Kanohi Mask, though.
  5. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by 'special' since some of the masks on your list aren't that rare. Anyway, I've got Trans. Neon Green Miru, Copper Huna, Copper Komau, Silver Kakama and Black Matatu. Well, there are also the Golden Mask of Water and the Golden Jungle Mask from Gali and Lewa but I don't consider them rare or special.
  6. I'm pretty sure they're trans. bright green and tr. blue respectively. They're just not as transparent as bone or shell pieces because of different kind of plastic used to make them. Most weapons are made of that softer kind of plastic probably to prevent them from breaking or to make them safer for children.
  7. These names sound like something that came out of a fantasy name generator. I'm not sure know what to think about the Protector of Earth being female but I guess I will get used to it.
  8. I don't see what's so terrible about that dream. You got masks in unique colors.
  9. Personally I don't like how stocky the new Onua is. It certainly makes him unique but I just don't think it looks good. Sure, Onua's shortness is one of his key traits but most of his previous incarnations were somewhat scrawny. The only remotely muscular rendition of Onua was his Toa Nuva form, and yet he didn't look much different from his teammates (and had teeny, stubby Bohrok arms xD). The review is nice and in-depth as always but I still can't bring myself to like the Skull Creatures or whatever they're called.
  10. I would like to see the piston add-on in more non-metallic colors than just white.
  11. Talons on Lewa's feet are a nice touch and the pink spikes look surprisingly nice. I like the original set's color scheme better, though. I'm not too fond of your rendition of Onua. His legs look a bit too lanky.
  12. But at least the Toa Nuva retained their Toa Mata counterparts' color schemes and most of their physical characteristics. Onua was still a hunchback who was shorter than the rest of his teammates, Tahu had fire swords and an angry-looking mask with 0-shaped mouth, etc. The Toa Nuva Phantoka/Mistika, on the other hand, looked like completely different characters.
  13. I wouldn't call Ackar's color scheme "balanced". Sorry to put it bluntly but in my opinion his color scheme makes him look like a glaring, visually unappealing blob of two bright, warm colors without any neutral one to balance them out. Because of this I'm glad that most of HF and G2 Bionicle sets have black skeletons, which seems to be an unpopular opinion as most people would rather see colored bones for some reason.
