  1. I'm getting three of those Mariachis, some alternate heads, and making the Three Amigos.
  2. Not sure. But if the boxes have a January 1 date on them, they'll probably just put them right on the shelf when they arrive in their stockroom (although in my local store's case, they sat on them for two weeks after the release date. Whatever. I'm glad they waited!) Also, I can confirm the Target stock number is 204-00-1379. Give that number to an employee and they can tell you if there are any minifigures in the stockroom.
  3. I finally had a chance to get back to the Target that said they had them in stock since mid December. Sure enough, they pulled out two boxes with January 1, 2016 release dates on them. Guess they weren't pulling my leg after all! Got my 16 plus a few extras. Now I can finally rest for a few months :) - J
  4. I called two Lego Stores this morning and both confirmed they did not receive any Series 15 yet and would not have them available January 1st. One of the stores specifically stated that the figures aren't due for release until February 1st. Meanwhile, my local Target store still claims to have two boxes of minifigures in the stock room with a January 1, 2016 release date sticker. I've asked different employees so it's not just the toy manager messing with me. I'll check back there on the 1st and see what happens!
  5. Simpsons Series 2 and Monsters did and, considering I gave their same DPCI and got the info about the January street date, I've got to assume it's carrying over.
  6. They appear to be in the stockroom at my local Target. I gave the clerk DPCI # 204-00-1379 and he said there were 240 in the stockroom but when he returned he said there was a January 1, 2016 street date on the box.
  7. The Facebook page specifically states "September" as the availability date. - MJ
  8. Ugh. Still not a fan of that scientist. In fact, the initial picture of him is what made me believe (or maybe hope) that the first leaks were fan-made and not legit. Ah, well. After several hundred minifigures there was bound to be at least one I wasn't fond of... - MJ
  9. It happened again at a second Target this morning - there was a fresh box out in the Lego aisle and when I took them to the register, they were alerted not to sell them. I asked for a manager, explained the situation, and the manager told me she couldn't sell them because if they break the street date they will get fined. However, she gave me a couple "$3 off your next purchase" coupons in apology and then proceeded to cover the box with post-it stickers reading "DO NOT PUT OUT UNTIL MAY 1st." Then she told me to take a picture of the bar code, come back in on May 1st, show them the bar code, they will scan it, and chances are the box will still be in the stock room waiting for me. So that was nice. - MJ
  10. Found the minifigures this morning in Los Angeles, CA. 60 of them on the pegs, not in an endcap box like they normally are. Brought some up to the register and they rang up as "Do not sell until May 1st". - MJ
  11. DPCI # for the new minifigure series at Target: 204 00 1379 Haven't found the figures yet, but my local Target put out an endcap full of $3.99 price tags in anticipation. - MJ
  12. Thanks! I'll try to get the Target DPC # using this and then post it here. I just hope the UPC numbers are the same for Canada and the US! - MJ
  13. Steckley, would you mind posting the UPC number from the back of the package? - MJ
  14. Just wanted to post an update: first, I posted the incorrect Target DPCI in my above post. I have corrected it. The correct DPCI number is 204 000 261. And I got lucky today: not only did I find a Target willing to bring the minifigures out for me, but they rang up at $2.99 each. Hooray! Good luck, everyone! - MJ
  15. Wow. My local Target has them in the back room and was going to bring them out for me... until I saw the price on the computer screen: $4.79. BLAH! PASS. - MJ
  16. Just added my vote and linked it on my Facebook page. Good luck! I'd buy this in a heartbeat! - MJ
  17. Howdy! Can you post the UPC number from the back of the package? - MJ
  18. Season 3, Episode 3 - MJ
  19. I'm thinking Scratchy will be a traditional minifigure, but Itchy will be more of an accessory (like the chihuahua with the Trendsetter or teddy bears with Sleepyhead or Panda Suit Guy). As for Maggie, yeah, I doubt she'd be included as an 'accessory', but then again, there's every chance Lego won't include her in the CMF set and keep her exclusive to the house set. She's the only main family member in the house set who doesn't have wonky eyes. - MJ
  20. Didn't forget them, just didn't know they were confirmed. Anyone else confirmed except for the main family, Apu & Itchy & Scratchy? I'm assuming Itchy & Scratchy will come in one packet... would be a waste to lose a spot in the 16! - MJ EDIT: Never mind, did a search and found the list. Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Apu, Chief Wiggum, Moe, Itchy & Scratchy. Assuming Itchy and Scratchy come in one packet and Maggie comes with Marge, that leaves 8 unknown. I can't imagine they wouldn't do Krusty or Mr. Burns. In my mind, they're pretty much the only other "locks". And are we sure they're doing another Flanders? Maybe the one with the house is the only one. If so, I'll guesstimate that the other 8 will be: Krusty Mr. Burns Smithers Milhouse Sideshow Bob Comic Book Guy Grandpa Simpson Barney Although I suspect one or more of them might get traded out for a female character like Mrs. Krabappel.
  21. As a longtime fan of The Simpsons and proud owner of the complete Playmates action figure line, here is my guess regarding the characters we will be seeing in the minifigure lineup: Homer Marge Bart Lisa Maggie Krusty Flanders Milhouse Grandpa Mr. Burns Smithers Barney Moe Chief Wiggum Comic Book Guy Sideshow Bob We should be finding out soon! :) - MJ
  22. I doubt we'll see a CMF series for the superheroes since Lego tried making individual minifigures early in their STAR WARS line (I think they were sold as 3-packs with bases) and Hasbro raised a stink, claiming that this was infringing upon their action figure license. So, Lego started making "battle packs" instead. With the inclusion of a vehicle, suddenly they weren't just packs of figures. And as Hasbro has the rights to the Marvel action figures, the same thing would probably happen. - MJ
  23. Toys-R-Us item number: 183118 UPC # 673419207533
  24. Can you post the item number from your receipt? Or even just the UPC code from the back of a packet. That will make it easier for the rest of us to find them, too! Thanks! - MJ
