  1. Following the technic cycles, we have to aspect 3 sets in 2h16. The regular one with power functions - its also the flagship with RC and one model that is powerfunction ready (the Claas). If Volvo is 50 Euro small than this set is dissapointing and will not use the new pneumatics. No rumors, its a fact. 40 pages are useless with wishes they have nothing to do with this topic. And no, TLG is not reading... This Jim is an idiot. Waler has the knowledge every year. But nothing than rumors on 93 pages that can be packed to 2...
  2. They have changed the cargo from blue to regular green. With 42052 we will finally get the 3x11 panel in regular green (good for mocs with 42008). Interesting that it is not the bright green panel from 42039. Also interesting that TLG uses the new panels for seats in the helicopter.
  3. It seems that the heavy lift helicopter is the 1H flagship with powerfunctions. Maybe we can expect tumbler tires for the wheeled excavator and it is time that these tires came up to the technic theme. Rumors or not: the idea to bring a new excavator make sense to me. It offers the oppurtunity to play with 3 (licensed) models in one scenario with nearly the same scale. This means loading the 42043 Arocs with the 42030 wheel loader together with the new excavator. Playing together with these 3 models would be great
  4. 42046 and 42047 are the new pullback models for this first wave. In my opinion there are 2 missing models: The first half flagship with PF and another one that is PF-ready
  5. this year techlug is earlier than sariel and tb. there are reviews for 42042 and 42040 since today at www.techlug.fr with pics and videos (but not 42043)
  6. The official techlug review with pictures and Video is available at www.techlug.fr
  7. the new app Lego 3D catalog is available with all second half models, including the Arocs, prices and pictures
  8. It is impressive how big and powerful a none flagship model can be.
  9. I know its not the topic, but I love the light blue and hope, we will se more technic sets with this color. Today my ordered light blue panelshas arrived an now I will update my 9392 quad from orange to light blue
  10. I can not imagine that Lego brings another color to the technic line for such a smaller model.
  11. damn, my wish was a full RC tower crane as the flagship for 2016, but when this is the B-model my dreams are discarded. Those many 1x15 beams in blue make it possible to build a nice and blue tower crane
  12. Compared to the parts of 42043 below, it is red and white. It's impressive that we get so many white sets in this year and sets with many white parts. 2015 is the white-colored year ever. I guess the box of 42040 has the same dimensions like the 42028 bulldozer box.
  13. With this set, we will finally get the small panels in white never seen before.
  14. sorry guys, my fault. I thought every one ones that pic from the other topics. I can see a 4 cylinder fake engine in the front of the plane.
  15. According to the other topics of 2H 2015 Technic sets we will start a new one for the 42040 fire plane.
  16. That is the frame introduced in first half 2014.
  17. The internal gearbox system is propably similar to this, but of course with the new 3L driving rings and large motor. The L-motor make sense while driving 4 (with 2 extra lever) functions simultanously.
  18. I count 45 DBG elements of tracks per side. For example, 8043 has 38 elements on tracks. This makes the structure of 42042 much bigger than 8043.
  19. I agree. The colors in this year are a very good choise and not so boring like the constant yellow-red-yellow-red-black combinations. Since 2013, TLG brings a lot of white parts to us.
  20. There are more than 25 (maybe 30) 1x15 beams in blue. Thats a lot.
  21. This is a very nice and new solution. I dont understand why TLG did not make driving the tracks independently. The solution with the levers is great for that, because it might be possible to steer the tracks. Thats great for MOC's. Cut the rotation and bring the function to the second track,
  22. This pic shows the gearbox as well. It seems that one stick can be operated horizontal and vertical - similar to 42009 but on booth sides. That means 4 driving rings instead of 2. There is one stud space beside each control stick. In the pic, both sticks are in middle position. In the video from the toy fair, the guy operates the sticks when the crawler is driving, but not the switch of the batterie box to let the tracks rotate backwards. It seems, that one driving ring operates one function, but two directions of that. If that is true, this is fairly new to Technic and the set comes with 4 (!) of the new driving rings in DBG.
