  1. Now we have a tipper that we can fill with the clamshell or the Volvo and it looks like no pieces will fall out! Unlike the Volvo's B model. How many scoops of the Volvo would fill the tipper? 3? For me it's got to be them new longer pneumatics, then the new extendible jib and stabiliser pieces.
  2. Yep, It looks to be the case and the stabilisers look nice and sturdy too.
  3. Look at how the tracks are moving on the crawler crane. It looks like it is motorised via a gearbox selector etc. It doesn't seem like he is pushing it to move. Watch the sprocket at the back take up the slack in the top of the track as it goes backwards. It definitely looks motorised all right and not driving a fake engine, whether the tracks split left and right or not, I'm not sure! It looks like the rotation of the crane is motorised too. It looks like he is moving a lever back and forth to do so, doesn't it?
  4. Good spot! It seems to be in the Technic section anyway, so that must be it. It looks nice!
  5. Isn't 42043 an absolute beauty! Longer pneumatics, fake engine, suspension on the front, dual rear wheels - I think everybody will be happy with this. Is the tipper using long LA's? Them stabilizers look pretty sturdy and the front looks absolutely fantastic. I can think of endless uses for them longer pneumatics. The biggest (piece count) and best Technic flagship to date. Thank you TLG, now I won't sleep a wink tonight!
  6. Look at the length of those pneumatics!!!
  7. Absolutely. In fairness to TLG, they have given us a vast amount of parts in new colours this year, not to mention new ones. Let the fun begin! MOC builders, AFOL and technic collectors will be happy with this I'm sure.
  8. I absolutely agree with you here. I would love to see TLG design a more sturdy and robust turntable in the near future, possibly slightly bigger with ball bearings etc, but definitely one that does not give way horizontally like the current one does, when used in cranes and excavators this size.
  9. It looks to be normal blue for sure and probably nicer than 41999 blue for a crane.
  10. Yes, the tan cogs at the front. It does look like both sides are linked though. That shaft seems to be extending both sides.
  11. Look at all them parts we will now have in blue. I think it's a nice looking model and it's great to see the tracks are motorised too, I really wasn't expecting that. Not a bad set at all for a non-flagship model. I'm happy with it!
  12. Yep, that looks like 42042 to me. I wonder is this an early leak from the press at Nuremberg (starts tomorrow), or a leaked photo from the London toy fair.
  13. Good on you XAxles. Sorry, I didn't realise we were quoting completely different comments, both at the same time. Surely that's OK? We will just have to make sure we are not online at the exact same time again and that will solve that! The low resolution image that we have been talking about the last few days.
  14. It looks black on the truck, could be just the angle, but look at the orange part of the box, the rams all look silver for sure.
  15. I agree with you here. With 42043 being the 2015 2H flagship, I'm thinking one L motor controlling a few features through a gearbox with the new collar design. I can't see them going all out on a few motors in a set, when it is not the flagship.
  16. One flex axle comes to my mind, that is very rare and expensive in a certain length and a certain colour. That would be mega for you Paul as a MOC designer and even more mega for us to collect and build them then! After I get the Backhoe V2 built, it will be time then to collect and build my first Crowkillers car. Which one? I'm not sure, I like them all!
  17. I think all 4 cylinders look 2 studs wide and it has to be able to tip. I'm guessing using 2 large LAs, as it looks like we could have our 4 rams used up in the jib (although I can't see the one for lifting the jib). With licensed sets they have to be as accurate as they can to the original and they have to be able to tip in the real world.
  18. Imagine what you could do with a few 11L cyclinders. One would make a sweet excavator out of 4 of them, that's for sure.
  19. From the bad images we have of the box, they look like 2 studs wide, but that person on brickset must have better images than we do. Nice detail coming through about it though. Keep it coming!
  20. Nope, it doesn't even come close. The biggest set ever made by TLG is 10189 Taj Mahal, with 5922 pieces.
  21. Can't wait to check out the new style drive rings for gearboxes! Hate the way the old ones had a double click. The new ones have a single click.
  22. Just flicking through Dokludi's photo gallery on brickshelf there and it seems he was able to fit suspension in the front and some sort of a fake V engine too. Can't see if there is suspension in the back axles though.
  23. Same as that. I can't figure out what the yellow piece is either. It doesn't seem to be part of the outriggers and looks more like it's between the rear wheels! I do think Dokludi has given quite an accurate representation of the outside of it, based on the blurry images he had to work off, so fair play to him! The front looks fairly accurate to the box and so does the tipper part and the jib. Obviously there are new parts that he can't use, like that new piece for the extension on the jib, longer cylinders etc, but it's anyone's guess as to the workings of the model inside.
