    It was definitely very condescending, but I could tolerate it if they were more clear in their goals. I'm still not sure what the purpose of it was. It seems quite random. I've seen friendly reminders to stay on topic, which are perfectly acceptable and welcome. Then he goes on to imply that users will be banned if this continues on its "current path." What path is that exactly? There was seemingly nothing to prompt this post and the way it is worded is just rude. Definitely shocking to see this coming from a higher up on a normally friendly forum. I know this sounds argumentative, but I think they should at least provide some clear examples of what they're talking about and reasons for it before talking about bans. That's all I have to say about that at the moment. Back to discussion. Has anyone gotten the Deathstroke figure yet? There are some purist modifications I'd love to see done to it since I'm not that big of fan of the official version.

    I do hope that CG image isn't completely final, but it looks pretty polished. If it is the finished product, I can deal with the head. I can always get a stubbled face and add white on it for the eyes. What really bothers me is the belt color. Why is it so bright? Even the most recent comic figures had a golden belt. His belt in the movie is so dark, people thought it wasn't even gold at first. That's something that's not easily fixed with a new piece, so I'll be disappointed if the final product turns out just like this one.

    What's the problem? You say this is a thread for rumors, but the title is Rumors & Discussion. The majority of the recent replies are all discussion. That still falls under the topic. I don't see the problem with that. Unless I'm out of the loop on another problem, I don't see what the big deal is. That would be a very cool set and I'm sure we'll get something with those characters down the line, but they've said this is a thirty dollar set. Joker's car would either have to be tiny or it wouldn't be in that price range.

    I really doubt there will only be three sets. That's the amount of sets Man of Steel got and this movie will be twice the scale of that, with Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and all this hype. So, we should expect at least two more than that. This isn't a Superman movie. It's more of a Justice League prequel.

    Overall, I'm really impressed with this set. I think they did great on this scale. My biggest gripe lies with the minifigure. That belt is way too bright. The New 52 Batman's belt wasn't even that bright. It should be closer to the Dark Knight figure. Other than that, I'm happy with it. Besides, they can always correct that in future sets. I can't wait to see what the other parts of the set are.

    Since everyone seems to be upset with the choice of Roy as the exclusive, I figured I'd post mine that I made a while back. I think it's a decent purist substitute. It's based on the show, but fits with my modified New 52 Green Arrow well enough.

    I actually don't mind the costumes for the Trinity. Superman has a reason for his and Batman's really fits the cop aesthetic which works well for Gordon. Wonder Woman is my favorite of the new designs. I just wish they hadn't gone back to gold. The Superman look may not make a cool figure, but the Batman and Wonder Woman costumes would.

    I was really into Castle before my dark ages, so I have tons lying around. Thanks for the suggestion. I had considered it, but I wanted to see what other people came up with.     That's pretty close. Thank you. I'd like to get something to resemble those two protrusions he has on his head, but it seems like it'll be hard to find something that close.     I've been catching up on the New 52 Justice League recently and I really like the design of David Graves. Have any of you put together a purist version of him?

    I modified mine too. I gave it green arms, black hands, a hood, a black quiver, and Green Lantern's legs. Looks pretty awesome. I posted it alongside Arsenal a few pages back.

    Thanks. I've seen those before, but I may need to revisit them and come up with a purist option for their mask. Oooor I could just paint it. I was thinking that today too. I photoshopped the new Batman cowl and it resembles the Daredevil one when red. Not sure about his black costume though.

    I guess I worded that oddly. You said it was your opinion and I was stating that it's just a matter of opinion. Fore example, you see it as a bad dorky, but I see it as modern and badass. I've never been a fan of the old design. Different strokes I guess.

    Woah. What's funny is that Captain Cold is actually my favorite design out of the New 52 Rogues. I just think his old parka looks too goofy to ever be taken seriously. The new version is slick and just... cooler. It doesn't hurt that Manapul is such a great artist. I agree with you on Heatwave and the powers thing though. Heatwave just looks weird. The powers thing did however give Cold an interesting dilemma. Like you said, it's all a matter of opinion. His new look is a big improvement. It's no longer in your face. but rather the creepy Joker we all love. I'd like to see a Lego version of it. I wouldn't think black lightning would work, but I actually really like the looks of it. Thawne is just great. Glad to see him back.
