Ezeran strokes the stubble on his chin. "They can have their say but I'd personally rather they joined us to question the representatives of the guild. I sense no evil in the creature itself and destroying it is irreversible."

"What has happend is in the past, no one has been hurt and though it seems that the guild of invision has been careless it seems that they should get a chance to explain all this before we settle this matter definitely."

Ezeran nods in unison with Toralds argument. "It's unwise to resort to slaying this creature if we do 't need to. It's better to learn more about it and the intentions behind its creation. It's indeed a beautiful speciment after all." The symbiont tries to snap after one of the petald in a playful manner.

Ezeran nods towards the two children. "Goodday young masters. I'm Ezeran and together with my fellow heroes we're here to hunt down a mean looking plant called a Triffed which has been attacking people all over town. Have you by any chance seen anything suspicious around here?"

Proposed distribution of loot: Torald: Sludge Glaive, 6 gold. Ezeran: Trickster’s Baubel, 40 gold. Petaldan: 2x Slimy Sword, 30 gold. Windus: Toxic Bow ; Poison Bomb, 30 gold. OOC: I've tried to compensate those with lower value items with gold.

Ezeran was about to say something but was silenced by the sight of Torald suddenly throwing a bomb. The symbiont was suddenly salivating heavily with anticipation. Battle order Torald Petaldan Ezeran Windus Waldorf

Ezeran surveys the surroundings and the abominations standing before them. "Well Triad Park sure meets my expectations. Now let us clear up this mess... " Ezeran casts a fire spell at Ooz Ingorgan from the back row. Waldorf casts a fire spell at Slea Zygoo from the back row.

"I'm ready Captain, lets go!" The symbiont bares its teeth. OoC: No problem for me, I'm having a blast!

"That is probably wise! We wouldn't want to fight your powers..." OoC: No problem Sandy, let the tension build! "Well, how about this: Me, Petaldan and Waldorf takes one side. Torald, master golem and Phoebe the second side and Captain Cousland, Anna-Belle, Dr Windus and Frau Frau takes the third side. Remember, you don't want to encounter it just drive it towards the fountain and then we'll fight it together!" Ezeran looks a second time at the map. "If the Ziegfrieds can cover the middle of the sides we could start at three different corners and work our way against the fountain. My group can start at the corner of Porpoise esplanade and Aroma street. Toralds group can start at the corner of Aroma street and Selkie street and Windus group at the corner of Selkie street and Porpoise esplanade. How does that sound to all of you?"

"Triad park, now there is a place I've heard some things about. Quiet a rough place if its reputation holds true. I heard a story about other heroes who went there to find out about some nobleman being a vampire or such. Well... I guess we should split up into three groups and try to surround it, we should try to drive it in front of us and meet up at the fountain. Now how should we split up, suggestions anyone?" Ezeran looks around at the others. Ezeran then turns to the Ziegfrieds "Are you coming as well?"

Ezeran nods towards the wizards. Even the symbiont seems to be nodding courteously, although it looks strange without it having a neck. "Good evening esteemed master of wizardry! As Captain Cousland here have already told you we do indeed have dealt with this particular Triffid before! It has attacked three mages: first Waldorf over there, an arbomancer, then a necromancer, Malastor at the Kingless Crown restautant and after that it attacked a Weather Mage at the barracks. It seems to have chosen mages with different kinds of powers and different levels of experience. We are, however greatful for any advice or assistance in ending this threat as soon as possible.You are probably already aware of the fact that it swallows each victim and absorbs his or hers powers making it more and more powerful it seems."

Ezeran nods courteously. "Glad to be of service. Lets head to the manor!"

"That is a good guess as well, what do you think Captain?

"Although I am new to the city I would dare say that the academy of enlightment seems like a good bet. Or what were you thinking?"

Ezeran turns to Captain Cousland. "I would search the surroundings for the closest powerful mage you can find and then try to isolate him or her from the Triffid. It could also be a place teeming with magic like some mage convention or the like. In addition we could try to lure it by setting up some contraption that runs on magic, I'm more unsure on this last idea. How does this sound to you? What have your scouts found?" Ezeran continues. "I have one more concern, it could be that the Triffid is acting on its own accord but it could also be that it actually has a master that either benefits from the attacks or can somehow capitalise on the powers collected from the Triffid..."

"It depends on how intelligent it is, if it's intelligent enough to differentiate between different classes of mages it's probable that it's intelligent enough to assess what powers it needs to grow stronger. On the other hand it could juat be acting on pure instinct, guiding it towards the next source of magic that is big enough to provide more power. What do you think about this line of reasoning?"

Ezeran brushes his unshaved chin looking far out into the distance, it seems he is pondering the circumstances. "The first victim was Waldorf, an arbomancer. The next victim was Malastor, a necromancer and now this weather mage. The Triffid is obviously targeting mages to gain their power, maybe it's even trying to gain so many different powers as possible. The next target is probably a mage of some sorts and since it already has collected the powers of the above we might want to look after a different kind of mage with different kinds of powers? Maybe be an archmage? It could also been drawn to the raw magic manifested in the presence of magic user. Maybe a mage college or the like? If this last statement is true it could be that we could lure it with magic. I don't know. What do you think?" Ezeran turns to the party.

Ooc: Sorry completely failed to take his class into account. Is it okay if we redo his latest action? Can he heal himself and Petaldan instead of them drinking potions?

"It's way past my usual naptime but I fear that Petaldan is right, we probably should pursue the Triffid before it wrecks even more havoc". Ezeran drinks a grand tonic. Waldorf drinks a tonic. "That would be a sight! A knight with an eyepatch!" OOC: Don't know if we should take actions for Windus since he has been gone but if we should: Windus drinks a potion. Proposition for loot distribution: Windus: Pirate's Eyepatch Petaldan: 10 gold (a bit more since he got an item with lesser value the last time) Ezeran: 5 gold. Torald: 5 gold. I hope that's okay for everybody?

"Don't you have some gastronomical delicacy from your homelands?" Ezeran has ceased to struggle against the fact that he is stuck with both his feet. The symbiont growls with a sound that only can mean a sudden urge "Yes, I'll try to fetch a live one for you this year..."

The symbiont suddenly lets out a violent laugh. Ezeran smiles though he is bound "Yes this predicament do bring back memories from that time we spent an entire Grogmas in that blasted swamp, however I do believe this Grogmas will be different!" Ezeran turns to his fellow party members "It just struck me, it's Grogmas soon! I'll buy you mulled wine when we're back at the hall Torald!Evertone else can have whatever they want!"
