  1. Well Iron vs Ultron is sold out now for the US. Only had enough money to buy one and by the time I put more in they were gone. Luckily I did get the one and should be here Thursday.
  2. More than likely they just threw in the new figs because they're in mass production now to come out with the AoU sets instead of having to remake the original Avengers one just for the Helicarrier. I'm actually OK with Black Widow and Hawkeye coming with the Helicarrier being that they are each exclusive to one set unlike 2 years ago where we got a bajillion Hawkeyes and one Black Widow in the most expensive set. (Yes Black Widow is still in the two most expensive sets but maybe the price for her figure alone will go down in the after market with the amount that are put into circulation)
  3. I ordered the new Batcave online from Amazon used for around $40 I think. It was the first time I bought a used set for so cheap but the deal was too good to pass up. It was great because not only did I get everything from the Batcave set, I also got 1/6 of the new Arkham set (the cells and Ivys container) inside the box! Decided to MOC the rest of the Asylum from the "Chamber of Secrets" and "Vlad's Dark Castle" sets and look wise it came out pretty cool. Wish I could get the Arkham set but looks like I missed my opportunity.
  4. From the video game. I'm not to fond of custom minifigs. Most of the time they just look off and for me it feels like cheating. But that's just me. Looking at the LEGO March Calendar from the 14th to the 29th is double points. So now that's $30 if you get the Helicarrrier and around $20 from all the sets.
  5. Then it would have either a) been out of scale with the rest of the ship or b) been even bigger, meaning more parts, meaning more money.
  6. I'm not sure when summer sets are released but I would hope June. Roughly I'm estimating $13.99 for carnage and $39.99 to 49.99 for sandman. So yeah that would work with another Iron vs Ultron or two.
  7. Yeah internationally it is 34.99 but I'm sure prices will fluctuate. Either way it's gonna be a lot of points. Just wondering if it'll be worth it saving at least $75 worth for the Winter Solider figure being you can (probably) only get him with that much spent on Marvel sets and he won't be available till June (3 months after the sets come out)
  8. Hmm, I did want helmeted Deathstroke but that looks good enough for me to not care and be happy we're getting Deathstroke.
  9. Not official but I estimate based on previous sets and international prices $12.99 Iron Man vs Ultron $19.99 Avengers Hydra Showdown $29.99 The Hulk Buster Smash $59.99 Attack on Avengers Tower $49.99 Duel at Hydra Fortress $79.99 The Avengers Quinjet City Chase
  10. I feel like I'm the only one who wasn't really interested in the mini-figs but the actual build. Looks really great to me. Better than the ideas one which looked more realistic but bland. This definitely has more color to work with. Surprised there is no Coulson but now I am thinking he is in SHIELD Sky Attack or he might be the exclusive Game Stop pre-order minifig. Still I'm really glad with the build. I will probably want to work with the motors and such like described in the video (hopefully I get to do it with work where we have all these Mindstorms sets for school activities). And for the price it is a bit more than the piece count but do keep in mind there are 4 big "boat" pieces as described in the video and the printing on the base which was necessary. Also don't forget that when you buy with LEGO and have a VIP account you're going to get 349 points which is $17.50 for the US. Plus if you buy the AoU sets the same way that's around another 200 points (rough estimate) which is another $10. So you can buy one and that helps save for the other. Just something to keep in mind.
  11. Not amazed like I was with the Marvel sets but I'll wait for the final product. Just really hoping Deathstroke doesn't just have an orange head with blue printed on half. It would probably be best to get these sets when they go on sale in the winter. I would rather spend my money on the AoU sets and the Helicarrier.
  12. Wow the Carnage sets looks pretty good given it looks like it will be a $13 dollar set. Rhino mech looks like the size of a big-fig but with more articulation, but sadly the minifig looks like its just a bald guy in the suit Guess I was expecting more out of the set without really having any expectations to begin with. But the Iron-Spider does look pretty legit. Hopefully the final product is a bit better.
  13. From the Hot Toys look of the Hulkbuster I can definitely see some changes I want to make. First reduce the size of the chest reactor, I don't know why it's so big, and add more hot-rod red for the abs. And then make knee reactors and well, knees in general. Hopefully it is possible to make the legs into three pieces instead of two, also switching the ball joint coming from the back straight down. Finally add more gold to arms, feet, everywhere and if the color exists for the pieces, more red. http://netdna.coolthings.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/hot-toys-iron-man-hulkbuster-1.jpg
  14. Why you gotta be so root?
  15. Aw man she has flesh-on-dark syndrome like Cap and new Batman
  16. No you're correct. We are getting both a minifig and a brick-built suit like the Hulk-Buster but probably smaller.
  17. Whoo! Finally new Spider-Man variants. And the best ones at that. And finally we get a SHIELD agent.Hope the set is cheap enough to buy the torsos and legs separately and make different agents.
  18. I would hope we get new versions of all the villains. Especially Poison Ivy and Penguin given we all ready have two of them from two other sets and everyone knows we have plenty of Jokers. Harley I could go either way. on one hand I didn't get the fun-house and therefore don't have the figure (might get her one day since she's only like $8 on bricklink), but on the other I would really like the new 52 version, it just looks so cute and playful. The set does sound nice though and it'll be the fourth location based set on DC's side which is nice. I wonder however how big the Burton Batmobile will be given the size description of the park. I also didn't get the Two-Face chase so I don't mind another Batmobile. The main drive of the set is the Titans figures as those are a must have, and hopefully we get a Raven fig soon to complete the team. As for the Harbor set I hope Deathstoke comes with his helmet and a dual sided head, one with the black and red-eye, and the other with Wilson's face. Red Robin, as we've been hearing, would be very nice and greatly welcomed even though we also have enough of him. Even though we have a "Batboat" I consider it more as a Jet-Ski. So I'm hoping if it comes with water based vehicles that the Batboat is more like the Killer Croc one back in 2006.
  19. Got the Arrow DLC yesterday. I was done with it after 5 minuets but it was 100% worth it to hear Stephen go funny for the role.
  20. Confirmed fake. Link: http://batman-news.com/2015/01/09/no-batman-v-superman-dawn-justice-not-split-two-parts/
  21. After seeing Wentworth Miller's Captain Cold, I really really wanted that one even knowing it won't happen..
  22. Don't they already sorta do that? When I was little (16 when the Super Heroes line started coming out) all I could afford were, at most, the $20 sets. But it was still worth my money. I then started learning more about finances and finally jot a job. So now I could afford the bigger sets and get them faster as to getting them one a couple months. I just spent $275 withing the past couple of weeks and an extra $445 within this year alone. Anyway getting back to the point, the bigger more expensive sets have always been targeted for mainly adults but also kids with very loving parents (or a mix of the two). Now in my opinion, Super Heroes is becoming a big a line as Star Wars which is leading to more sets, exclusives, and figures. So it's a win-win for LEGO whether they target kids or adults because they are sets we all want.
  23. There also is no clear pic of what the head looks like without the helmet. Which is also weird because the heads have back printing even though it is almost all covered. Here's to hoping the printed face is good enough without it.
  24. That looks amazing but one question. If they managed to basically take the Flash helmet and remove the bolts and recolor it to make this new mold, WHY DIDN'T THEY GIVE ONE FOR CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!!??? AAAAARGHAGHABALAGAFAR. But still pretty cool.
