Prices for the tower without the figures are going around $40 to $45. That's a price I could live with but it would be best to wait till more go online and the prices go down. It would be a good idea also for the fortress to possibly make it bigger. The price usually goes down to $5 more than half.

No it's two. The tower comes with three levels and the MOC has six so it would make sense being only two sets put together.

Thanks for these. Surprised no one has done a side by side comparison till now. Kinda disappointment it's not as big but it is definitely much better to look at. Not to say the old Quinjet is bad but I do like the AoU one better.

They have a "Save $5 on $25 or more" for LEGO and building sets now. I tried to use it but with the $5 I would have saved I would have had to pay shipping because I wouldn't get it for free now that the price was lower than $49 dollars. It would have been around a dollar more with the "savings"

I really didn't want to but people are selling Quicksilver for half the price of the set. Might as well get all the extra stuff for twice that price.

If the set is worth purchasing right away then I usually get it at Christmas time when most LEGO goes on sale. Right now I'm waiting on the Batman scuba set and some 2014 sets I've yet to get. These sets were too good to wait.

Just ordered the Quinjet from Barnes and Noble. Saved $25 with my gift card. Bought the Fortress off of ToysRUs. I wanted to get it off LEGO.com but with TRU you get free shipping with $49 instead of LEGO $75. I can't believe I got all the sets that fast. I think I may have a serious problem

Went to my Target today for the Quinjet in stock but they wouldn't sell till tomorrow. Anyone know when Barnes and Noble gets their LEGO stuff? I have a gift card and that would help the purchase of the set.

Went to my Walmart to see about the Milano set. (Although I just checked Brickseek and it's in stock at the other one. Thank goodness it's payday) Sadly none were in stock. Not so sadly all sets except the fortress and Quinjet were there. Managed to pick up the tower and hydra dual (which was marked at $16.78)

They won't be online unless someone takes a clear picture of the price on the shelves or until March 1st when Target puts them online March 1st. My store is really bad at putting things on the shelves on the street date, and they wont put them out till like a week later. When the DCPI numbers come out use brickseek to confirm they are at the Target you want and call to request to hold them.

Yep for the US it has "Sold Out" and won't ship till March 16. I just hope it's avaliable during double points week or I will be severely disappointed. But I will be going to the LEGO store in Seattle so hopefully it's there during that time.

This set is coming out before any others do. More than likely this is going to be the final version. They reuse heads from other lines of sets because none of them have been used in the Super Hero line-up yet. It's just a way so LEGO doesn't have to make and print new heads, and using old ones saves them money, which saves us money. It's probably an exclusive set like the Braniac Attack was. Those sets always get images released later than others in a wave.

The Ant-Man set is also a really great $20 set. Really excited to see the final battle of the movie take place on a kitchen table. The bricks and crews were a really clever idea. Not sure why the ants are blue but I'm ok with that. Better blue than boring brown. Kinda disappointed the mouth is revealed on the helmets because that's not how they are in the movie or in the fanmade pic of Ant-Man, which would have looked way better. But I'll get over it because that Yellow Jacket is boss. Also I think it was pointed out but the helmets are switched from the display and on the box art. I think the box art one is correct because Scott has the suit he has in the movie with the lighter grey helmet and Hank will have the darker suit and helmet, either as a prototype suit or a new suit. These are both a vast improvement over the prelims (let's take a note of that and try not to freak out next time we see blurry pictures of unfinished box art). It's really great to see new variants of Robin. I really like how they did both New 52 and Teen Titans versions for these sets. Batman has boots and that's awesome. Beast Boy and Starfire also look great but really? A snake? That's a cop out but whatevs. I'm not too bummed about Penguin because I don't have that variant of him and it sucks Harley doesn't get the new hair piece but that was expected from make. I still want the old version so I guess I'll just Bricklink it or something. Joker and Ivy=boooooo. The Batmobile looks kinda small but that's probably because the park looks so big. Hope it has the sliding function like in the movie. The rides look like a lot of fun. I really dig the colors and it's a nice change from the "I only work in black" Batman sets. The Batboat looks really great. I think the $40 sets look best when 90% of the build goes into one vehicle and not split up among two. Deathstroke doesn't have a helmet but the printing doesn't look too bad on his head. He works and will look great fighting the Titans. Plus dual-colored legs is always a plus.

Carnage looks amazing and has arm-printing. Now we have a generic body for SHIELD agents so that's a plus (fingers crossed for Coulson in the near future still). Miles also looks great, I'm just happy we are finally getting more variants of the Spider mantel. Plus the small build is great for $13. Sandman and Rhino set is alright. Similar to the first SM set with Dock-Ock. Lots of play features but not much setting. Iron Spider looks cool. Seems to have a lack of color but that's just because it gets a lot of shading in the comics to make it look metalic and LEGO can't do much about that. Don't care for the reprint Spidey but the dual-colored legs will be great for Superman. Sandman is alright, I could have done without the sand on his shirt but eh, and will have to buy the extra arm and hand being that one is all sand colored. I actually really dig the Rhino suit. I don't think it's 100% based on anything but takes majorly from TASM2 with it being a Mech and the minifig looking like Paul Giamati. Goblin sadly isn't exactly like the video game version but looks better than Abomination Ultimate Green Goblin. Will have to make his glider from the game version however because that version is the best so far. Hopefully he won't be too expensive seeing that he is the only fig I will Bricklink.

Looking at the video it doesn't look like any Ant-Man figs get hair. They had Tony's in the extra pieces on display for the tower but nothing for the Ant-Man set.

Ok so Avenger's Tower is $59.99. For that price I'll hold off a while, being that I'd prefer other sets before the tower. Plus there is a max purchase quantity of 1 for Iron Vs. Ultron but I did manage to get another one.
