  1. hey hinckley, sorry abt reposting the same topic. heheh.. thanks for merging them. :-$ I found it over at www.MrMalique.com (juz search for "lego" in the search), a local (Singapore) design blog. The website owner works in the design industry and he regularly updates his blog with interesting ad designs and this lego ones was one of them. :-D The FireStation and hangar in the pics are local, so i guessed a local advertising cmpy made them for Lego,Singapore. 8-

  5. Since this is a thread on Transformers, you guys should take a look at this. Although not transforamable into their respective vehicles, the details on the robots are astounding! 8-
  6. well.. actually you can do these kind of things.. if you have a RCX or NXT controlling your train. with different sensors along the track (and even your own DIY IR trainsmitter along these tracks). Very advance and expensive. yeah.. but its easy to "copy" an IR Signal.

  8. I was in my Dark Ages until i was involved in a motorbike accident that left my left hand and some fingers immobile. Wanting to make my Left hand and fingers do a little exercise, my GF & I bought the CITY Ambulance and Airport Firetruck and later, the Heavy Hauler 7900. It worked wonders with my Injuries and i couldn't stop buying Lego after that.. of coz.. my GF wasn't Happy abt it. *wacko*

  12. actually... i tink breakman / protoman are the same.. though there are some ppl (like me) tink that these two are totally two different characters. Read this article to find out more Megaman3 Mysteries Read the "Unused Sprites and graphics found in the Rockman 3 rom".
  13. yeah.. actually.. i donno the diff between protoman and breakman.. in Megaman 3. Both looks the same to me.
  14. Hey PSPGuy, I did the same project too! haha.. wat a coincidence. You took your "sprite" from the NES games? HEre are my examples in LDD. and Megaman Himself

  17. this building is great! Nice one! its a great buiding to have in a Small City layout... a must have actually. great work! :-D
  18. this is a cool set, but i tink Lego should have made this set Mini-fig scaled, since i feel that the Ferris Wheel is too big for micro-scale. All work and no fun for our poor minifigs. :-| Maybe you should put 2 pics, one 3D and the other a normal one. coz, obviously, some ppl dun have any 3D glasses. heh.. but i like your effort and style! *y*
  19. same here. still thinking of whether to include 9V tracks in my future layout.. since i got a few 9V trains.
  20. hey, i like the way u built the Legoland Hotel on the current CITY raised baseplate. Very well built. Can we see a bigger pic of it? :-$
  21. the entrance of the cafe corner reminds me of the "Cafe 80's" from the BTTF trilogy. hehe.. :-$
  22. i also like your list snefroe1. its wat every big city fan needs. but actually im surprised that a Tow-Truck isnt included in the Petrol Station. When was the LAST Tow-Truck was ever introduced? Maybe it would be one of the New "Town-Essential" Sub-themes?
  23. To answer both questions above, i come from Singapore in SouthEast Asia. IT s a small country and traffic congestion is an everyday thing. so the Fire Dept (called SCDF here) decided to use motobikes to avoid these congestions to get to the incidents fast. Oh ya, they use a water mist spray gun to extinguish fires and there is abt 15litres of water stored on the motobike. X-D And no, we do have seperate forces, Fire Dept & Police. :-$ Here is the snapshot of one
  24. thanks. the had difficulty finding the appropriate sticker size for the bike.. luckily the fire pick-up truck one fits the bike size but still need to do a bit of trimming. :-$ i was conteplating whether to use an actual motorcycle helmet or the fireman's helmet, but choose the latter coz more appropriate in terms of the fireman's usage. ;-)
  25. V-LF-1A Another simple MOC from me. Presenting the Fire Bike MOC. 8- Front Right Rear Left There are 4 stuff the bike can carry: an axe, fire extinguisher, Smoke mask and the Walkie talkie. Hope you all will like it, comments and suggestions are welcomed. :-$
