  2. hey phred! I did a similar thing a while back too! Let me share my pics wif you. Its a bit blur, but visible. I upgraded my station by combining the same shell Station with the Shell Select Station 1254. The rest basically remains the same. *wacko* the 2 sets. upgraded! hehe.. but ur station wins hands down! I love the smooth floors and the way you cover up the studs on the baseplate. 8-
  3. i was wondering whether they had the bike ambulance any other parts of the world.. and the answer is here! hehe.. i thot of doing the same model.. but had no clue whether this exists. now i do! great MOC! maybe u should cut out the stickers to the desired pasting area.. looks better that way. ur bike can be put together with my Fire Bike! heheh *wub* grabbed from my old post :-D
  4. GET BOTH!!! :-D dat wat i would do. coz both sets have its good and bad.
  5. im also doing the advent calendar thingy.. but in 3-day-per-theme posts. heh... lazy to update pic by pic. Check it out! http://azmeanistrator.googlepages.com
  6. usually AFOLs dun hate the stickers design. they just hate the fact that these stickers will not be around forever. as they will, in time, peel off by themselves or crack up due to the humidity. Also, there are some situations that the stickers are pasted over more than 1 brick. That.. just sucks. :-|
  7. must be 100 pieces EXACTLY or 100 pieces OR LESS? :-P
  8. hehe.. thanks Sinner and MatthewUSA. :-D

    Need your help

looks like everyone is vouching for CC. Just get the CC and spend ur time with ur beloved Lego. CC doesn't need batteries to run. hehe. :-D
  12. now this is what i call a town Layout! 8-
  13. i just saw a toilet bowl in the prison cell from one of the box pics. well, from the last police station.. there should be a bed inside the cell. There are graffiti on the walls inside the cell too.. haha.. cute. :-$
  14. whoa.. thanks for the poster pics, Rupee. Where did you find those? :-D Do you tink Lego will kind of sell the blue police stickers so that we can replace the old black ones? *wacko*
  15. well.. there's always no harm in getting 2 of the same set. hehe... X-D u can also look at our photos for reference. if u dun have parts of the same color.. use any color parts.. and if it works for you, then you can get the color part u need. Alternatively, use Lego Digital Designer 2 ;-)
  16. its supposed to represent this vehicle, right, Sinner? those rail wheels are small! 8-
  17. although i dun like classic engines, nice effort on it though. simple but Nice. I like the Sepia photos! haha.. looks very "old"! :-D
  18. *wub* i just love your layout man... its one of the great examples around.. building a town with limited space and making use of 2 levels! maybe someday i would want to build a town like this.. thanks for the inspiration! :-D
  19. i have two stores from UK that I usually buy from. 1) LEGOSHOP-Holland http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=liesbeth -may not be the cheapest around but his services are professional & quick, IMO. Never had probs. 2) Stonies Bricks http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=Lassen -sometimes, he made great auctions. His shipping are always fast (reach me within 1week in average, considering that I live in SouthEast Asia) :-$
  20. Im quite new to MOCing too Karl.. but its up to individual's creativity and how many extra lego bricks/parts you have to make your own MOC. For me, I prefer to leave a set the way it is unless I don't like the design and feels that something better can be added or removed, then I will do it. Just experiment here and there and you will get the hang of it. You can start with smaller sets first, if you want to. :-$ Good luck!
  21. yeah... my MOC was inspired by Lego 5150's MOC and it made total sense why he did it, coz i felt that the length of the truck was too long and hard to turn. X-O nice, cute town Sinner! Very crowded indeed! btw, wats a portable toilet doing on top of the building? :-D
  22. nice... I LOVE TRUCKS! :-D the mini command post looks a bit redundant in this set. but maybe could be somehow fused into the old or new police station to make a huge parking lot or sumting. :-$
  23. nice MOC Lasse. I wanted to make a similar one but had trouble finding the correct pieces for the Front Loader Arm. Looks like you found a creative way of using the exhaust! NICE! :-D
  24. I did try to do the same MOC that Lego 5150 did also but.. like Sinner said, its harder than expected! Here is mine But Lego 5150 made a trailer stand and i just couldnt figure out how to do it. Everything was in the way of something one way or another. So i just gave up. I also took apart my Technic Rough Terrain Crane 8270 set so that I can use the wheels for my MOC. (its the same wheels!).
