  6. Hey Maximono I did the same IR conversion with one of the Hobby Models too! BUt urs is definately nicer! The white base fits quite well! here is mine as you can see, the front/back part is too low. almost touching the tracks! But dat was the best i could do.. since i wanted to closely follow the hobby train model.
  7. Thanks a zillion guys. :) hehe...
  8. yes, actually I am trying to do that big, better, open-top truck MOC eversince I have completed the Fire Bike MOC, but time isnt on my side and I always kept on delaying it. Its actually an Electric Fire Car and its called the "Rhino" here. Like the fire bikes, they are used as support vehicles alongside the usual fire trucks and are usually deployed for small fires. WhiteFang: Thanks for reviving this old thread.
  9. touching dude. sorry to hear abt ur loss. Well i built the CITY Mobile Crane with my GF, while sitting on the floor, at the local Airport's Viewing Gallery (it was the best open space we could find after having our dinner there). A few strangers walked passed and smiled at us. One guy actually said out loudly.. WHOA! NICE LEGO SET!
  10. OMG, i didnt even know wat was Galidor before i read this post. That doesnt even look like it came from Lego (only the missles) *wacko* wat was Lego thinking?

    My new home

nice tree house. So, all ur minifig does is swimming, wathing tv or playing Wii all day? hehe :-D maybe u can add a small speedboat as a form of transportation.
  17. dun need to feel embarrased around here. Its all good guys (and gals) in EuroBricks. About your car, well.. building a Good Lego set takes time and experience.. like me, when i started, i can't build nuts! I only can build buildings now and I have absolutely no skills in building a simple minifig-scaled car of my own. So, its not a bad set.. just that Lego has a few limitations when it comes to details depending on its scale. So some of it just need to be left out. So keep building, and one day, you will build a set that "wow" yourself! :'-)
  18. now that is HUGE! I AM IMPRESSED! 8-
  19. you should add a helipad for your station while you are at it. an example: sumting i did.. i know.. the helipad is pathetic .. so you should build a better one!
  20. Hey, I love this game too! I never got bored of shooting all those baddies through the bullet-time chaos. Perfect rendition of Max Payne! I love it! :'-) Any on-going works on the sexy Mona Sax? hehe... *wub*
  21. the baseplate from the orient expedition? whoa... dats gonna be a sweet park! hehe.. thanks for the praises man! :'-)
  22. Thanks a million zouave. It wasnt easy designing that broadwalk coz I had difficulties deciding how the handrails are to be built. I wanted someting "wooden" but not too old-looking. X-D
  23. B-OV-12C Hi All, After I have built my previous MOC, the CITY Hospital, the Ugly baseplate that the original hospital once stands on is not in use and seriously taking too much storing space. So, After 2 months of planning, ordering parts, building from scratch and waiting for deliveries, I am proud to announce the opening of the Lego CITY Park! *sing* Its an open-park concept, so there are no gates or fences around this tiny green area amongst the high rise buildings and urban structures (imagine!). the park with minifigs The park is mainly built on a Hard Rock ground, therefore the area around the park are surrounded with exposed gray rocks and natural wall. Other than the main Park itself, there is an ice-cream seller at the main entrance of the park, selling cool, creamy ice-cream to kids and adults alike, wanting to cool down after a hot day at the park. There is also 2 parking lots for those who are that lazy to walk to the park. There is a broadwalk in this park. I'm actually proud of this part and I like it the best. This broadwalk connects the heart of the park to a nature corner of the park. As you can see, there is a small pond underneath the broadwalk. *wub* The main path is made up of cement tiles, so that the minifigs can walk comfortably around this Park and not to worry about soil and mud. There is a Gazebo in the heart of the park. Simple but sturdy structure. It adds character to this park. Reading a book here, amidst all the lush greenery and fresh air relieves any after-work stress and a great place to just relax. :-$ This park is taken care by this mini-fig here, sweeping the back entrance of the park. The lone huge tree stands here to give shelter for any park goers and is being preserved by the authorities. ============================================== I hope you all have enjoyed my MOC. Comments and constructive criticism welcome! X-D
  24. looks like the ugly baseplate from the old police station and hospital is back. now in Tan! haha! :-D
