  1. Hi Eff. I would like to make a big beam of 31 with alternate holes, but I lack time and I am sure to do less well than you. The last beam that you show is much interesting and if you proposed it on Shapeways, I will order for testing. But provided it is a length of 15. I think it is difficult to test the resistance of a beam if it is too small. I think this type of beam with holes on each side, not alternated, is very interesting. When you say that it is fragile, do you mean it is soft. For me, if a beam is soft it is not a defect but an advantage to take into account.
  2. I am neither a great nor a small physicist, but I would be very surprised if this could cause any problem.
  3. I gave the answer to this problem a few lines above.
  4. I think some will know this posibility, but I found nothing on the subject in YouTube. The idea is to generate power with a motor used as an electrical generator. It can also be used as actuator for remote control.
  5. This is great with some good ideas ! I will follow your crΓ©ations.
  6. This is a very good stairs climber, I know how it is difficult. Congratulations.
  7. Look at the title if the page: "Vision Subsystem v4 for NXT or EV3 (NXTCam-v4)"

  9. This is very good ! I presume the next version we'll see what the camera see in your PC screen, by bluetooth.
  10. This is great ! I have tried to do something like this, but it does not work yet. May be one day.
  11. Fantastic! I would never have dared to do this. Simple and efficient it was necessary to try. Congratulations.
  12. This is very great Hans. I understand now. Thank you very much.
  13. Ok, I understand. And what about using a motor in the nxt and a push button on the ev3 ? And more, I don't understand how the nxt motors transfers the value to the ev3 motors. I believe the answer is in the code.
  14. That's a good job, congratulations! Can you explain what the PVA is ?
  15. Hi Eff, One more question if you please. Does the Nylon much more expensive than the ABS ?
  16. Ok, I see what is the goal now, but why don’t you use the sensors plugs instead of the motors.
  17. Thank you Eff. Here are two excellent reasons that I will pass on to my friends on a French forum. I myself intend to start in 3D printing and your experience is very valuable.
  18. Hi, I was wondering what is the reason that made you choose nylon rather than ABS which is the original material of Lego?
  19. I do not understand why you use two motors to transfer a data. But I must say that my knowledges are very small. I find this very interesting but not understand the goal. Moreover, with the code, it would be even more interesting.
  20. Congratulations, this is really the kind of achievement that I love ! And thank you for the lxf file.
